Welcome to the Neighborhood. After the departure of River Horse to Ewing from Lambertville, Upper Bucks has been left with a void(less Triumph, Doylestown and Bucks, etc) of choices for interesting microbrewery beer. Enter Mad Princes… Such unique flavor and not just your typical beers that taste like a standard Hefeweisen and IPA. I highly recommend the Altbier! I look forward to more tastings throughout the year!

This is a brand new brewery in Bucks County. Very pleasant staff. Flights of 4 of their beers are $ 7. Pints about $ 6. Good quality beers with flavor. Some small breweries are a bit bland, but they seem to be spot on. We had the Ich Bin Ein Buckinghammer, Merry Alt St. Sticke, McHugh Pale Ale and Lord of Lagos Bourbon Aged English Porter. Growlers available too. Definately worth a look.

My wife and I stopped in this afternoon. We had a pleasant experience trying the four beers that they had on tap and talking with the owners. The beers that they had were Ich Bin Ein Buckinghammer(a Berliner Weisse), Solebury Spruce Saison, Biere de Avril(Biere de Garde), and a barrel aged porter. The Berliner Weisse was better with the woodruff syrup than without it. There is also the option of prickly pear syrup. The saison was fair, but the biere de garde was excellent. The porter, while not overpowered by bourbon, did not have much of a vanilla taste. The owners were very personable, and we look forward to trying more beers in the future.
