Got to say I can’t understand how so many people can give this Pizza shop five stars when in the store this afternoon and ordered a white slice with breaded chicken on it I got to slice home I open the bag and I could not believe my eyes The chicken was about an eighth of an inch thick and you can practically squeeze the oil out of it after coming out of the toaster oven for the minute the chicken was as dry as a bone also it should not been cut into strips it would been cut into small pieces but that would not been good because of the fact they would have been so small would not look good for the customer The Pizza was like a such oil saturated piece of dough

So glad Vic’s reopened as they are the best pizzeria by far and especially on this neighborhood. My wife and I order a medium pizza at least once a week when we’re too busy to cook or when we’re in the mood for a couple of slices. They keep your number in their system so when you call you don’t even have to repeat where you live. Just confirm your number and they pull up your name and address, you place your order and within 20 minutes to a half hour your doorbell rings and your pizza comes out of a pizza-carrier which keeps it warm and crisp just as if you ordered it at the counter of their store! Since this pizzeria reopened we have NEVER been disappointed! If you live in the neighborhood and love pizza this place is a no-brainer for quick delivery of a delicious meal. And if you don’t live nearby you will want to visit if and when you are within a five-mile radius for a fresh and hot pizza which won’t disappoint you with their fabulous mixture of dough, cheese, and sauce! Salute a cent’anno!

One bite and I was sold! This is what I call authentic Brooklyn pizza! The first bite took me back to my first bite of my first pizza! I love my boyfriend even more for dragging me here. You can taste the ingredients and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Loved it so much me and my boyfriend eat a whole pie together. Their plain slice is all you need but I recommend the chicken and sauce square too. All yummy, the best part is that it’s family owned. They are honest and loyal. Once I left my debit card and a week later they still had it. I will always be a loyal customer. Idk why they bother opening big chain pizza stores when you have this gem in town. I would never choose dominos/papa Johns over the real thing.

Pizza is good, staff is nice and very friendly. The buffalo slice is my favorite, along with the square.

Have you ever had a perfect slice of pizza? Me neither, until I came to Vic’s. Nestled in a part of Brooklyn the New York Times forgot, called Gravesend, is this little neighborhood gem. Vic’s was opened around 50 years ago but recently re-imagined by Vic’s only son Pasquale. And yes, I said The Perfect Slice and here’s why. First, it’s perfectly cooked. The slice is crisp, but not burnt. If you hold the slice by the crust, without folding it — it doesn’t bend. Second, this is a proud family business, you can taste the care they put into this pizza. This is what this family has done for 50 years and they want to continue to do it for 50 more. Third, the sauce is not sweet and has the right balance of simple Italian spices. Nothing fancy. Fourth, the cheese is high quality, not too stringy and just the right amount. It doesn’t weigh down the pizza. Lastly, it’s not greasy. I didn’t feel guilty eating this slice. It was fresh and tasty from the first bite and sat well in my belly. Overall Vic’s is EXACTLY what pizza should be but many, many times is not. So get yourself over to Gravesend before some pizza blogger or NY Times writer talks about Vic’s as the next Destination Pizza spot(because they will) and you can tell all your friends you were here before there was a line around the block.
