I been ordering for about a few months now and I have no complaints. Basic stuff is very good. Burgers, sandwiches, corn nuggets, Mac and cheese. Great part about the sandwiches never greasy.

The food is still delicious… among the best. Customer service has really deteriorated lately. Chicken Delicious has recently stopped accepting credit and debit cards for phone orders. I understand the concept, and the desire to minimize fraud. But as I explain whenever I call I have been a fairly regular customer for more than 10 years. And I’m not at home while I’m recovering from a medical emergency. I’m in a situation where I rarely have cash on hand. Surely exceptions can be made? I have called multiple times and the owner is ALWAYS too busy to come to the phone. When he’s there at all. And he NEVER returns phone calls. Regrettably, a FORMER customer.

I appreciate that they cook everything fresh and get quality products. You get what you pay for. I order a bunch of stuff from here when I want chicken. I get fried chicken thighs which always come crispy and moist. Their BBQ chicken is delicious. I’ve ordered their burgers which I would love to binge on since they are delicious. I love their Mac and cheese. The fries are always tasty and crunchy. Their salads are fresh. Roast beef was Delish. Chicken Caesar wrap is good. Mozzarella sticks are good. Buffalo chicken wings are good. I can keep listing stuff. It’s a good place to order take out from. I’d like to think of myself as someone who knows good food and this place has good food. Not everyone appreciates good food but I do. That’s the reason I’m broke. This chicken is surely delicious. I want more!!!

This spot is great. Fried chicken is always on point, curly fries, corn on the cob, all good. Love having this place in my neighborhood.

With changing demographics, its hard to find a non franchise chain type of fried chicken place that is not some overpriced yuppy creation, but mirrors the chicken delight type stores of yesteryear. This place fits the bill, with good crunchy, not too greasy, or over cooked chicken, decent sides like fries and powder mash. Better to take out or get delivered, there are a few seats more for convenience, rather then décor, with the a small television running to watch while you wait.

I ate there the first day grand opening So I support it. But the chicken is good and burger crème of spinach is good. Always fresh and clean. Can’t beat the wings juicy and tender Crispy The seasoning spices they prepare with are vet traditions American

So so it’s very very bland what can I say, but the pork chops were amazing, didn’t like the rice pilaf to much but overall it’s good for the money, if you go pick it up

The chicken here is decent and fresh. However, I felt a bit uncomfortable dining in, because the girl behind the counter kept staring. The vegetables were all battered and fried without much taste, which were bit of a disappointment. The mushroom completely soaked up all the deep fried oil. Their french fries were good. I would come back again if I craved chicken and skip out on the vegetables, but probably get it to go.

Let me start this off by saying when I was young, we used to get chicken delicious all the time. It was the neighborhood place. Then something changed, and the chicken turned into something resembling a reheated tasteless monstrosity from the frozen food aisle at pathmark. This is the second time in the span of a month that I’ve ordered from Chicken delicious. The chicken is good, but the focal point of this review will have to be another American Favorite. I have one question for all my fellow Unilocalers out there. Have you ever had the perfect French fry? Now, if you say yes, you’re probably missing out unless you’ve had a fry from Chicken delicious. These French fries; these little bits of heaven are like a religious experience. Seldom have i been able to consume fries without any condiments whatsoever. They are so perfect, yes perfect, that they don’t even require salt. I saw the light while eating these fries, and they’ve made me want to stand out in front of McDonald’s with a sign that reads«the fry is neigh» while screaming«REPENT» at the non-believers. If you’ve had them and you agree with me, let me get an AMEN! If you haven’t, you MUST try them. Resistance is futile. 5⁄5 for the fries alone.

This review is way back dated. This used to be the best family dinner place of all time. The chicken breast bone in were so crunchy the rolls so soft. And that wad all I needed.

One week I ordered from here multiple times which shows how much I like this place. I have ordered a variety of different things from here from the fried appetizers to fried desserts and just love the chicken! This place really knows how to fry and they do it all so well. I also love the sandwiches which are large, and the buns never go soggy even after being on a delivery route. Also, you can customize the sandwich and add the toppings that make you happy. My husband and I always fight over the corn nuggets because we only order one portion and want the whole thing to ourselves. The corn bread is also tasty and now my mouth is watering thinking about the chicken dinner which I usually get with corn bread. The only real negative is that they do not provide utensils or napkins with their delivery. I only eat at home and have never been to the place in person which works as the delivery service is polite and they get to me in a reasonable amount of time.

I wish I could rate this place higher since there’s much they get right. Fried chicken is cooked from scratch(reminds me of now-defunct Chicken Masters, and takes about 15 minutes), rather than sitting all day under a lamp, and everything comes out piping hot. Chicken is very moist inside, even the breast, which is not easy to do. Ample portions at low prices. What’s missing is a nice crisp coating, which should be the best part. Here they either use a way too thin batter, or a light dusting of flour; either way there’s nothing remotely resembling the crusty fried chicken I’m accustomed to. Also missing is any distinctive flavor in the chicken beyond salt. The mashed potato is an equally tasteless, textureless purée, though the gravy has some nice meat flavor. The little«dinner» roll is dried out, again reminding me of Chicken Masters. Much as it galls me to say, the roach-infested KFC just down Kings Highway at Coney Island Avenue is better. They get everything else wrong, but they get the coating and flavor(lots of black pepper and some sage, if I’ve divined the Colonel’s secret) right. Popeye’s, all over Brooklyn, is a higher quality chain and has a crisper coating and(in the case of spicy) even tastier chicken. More generally, the bar for Brooklyn fast food has risen over the last decade. I noticed within a few blocks a couple of places that serve hopefully authentic taqueria food. Over a bit on Avenue U you can get dim sum, Chinatown roast meats and bahn mi. Chicken Delicious has been around a while(they certainly haven’t updated the décor!), and may date to when people really used to appreciate convenient, wholesome, inoffensive tasting food. That’s just no longer enough.

Highly recommended for anyone craving good ol American style cuisine in the Bensonhurst area. After living in this area for years and constantly feeling a loss for American cuisine outside of local Delis, I stumbled upon this hole in the wall which can easily be mistaken for another of Bensonhurst’s sub-par Chinese take-out joints if you’re not paying attention. I decided to play it safe this first go-round and opted for the 4-piece Rib«Snack» which turned out to be quite the pleasing ribsticking meal, for $ 6.99, by far one of the best prices I have ever come across anywhere in NYC. Although it did take approximately 15 minutes to get my take out order, it was well worth the wait. Ribs were succulent, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Sauce was sweet and slightly tangy… Delicious! The massive side sack of fast food style shoestring French fries hit the spot, and were quite flavorful as well. I will Definitely be returning for a more diverse selection next time. 4 stars due only to the lack of excellent service(lack of napkins, silverware and condiments. Made no big difference since I went home to eat, but would have been a nightmare had I been eating on the go)

Been here two three times when I was a kid… Recently just came here just for the hell of it… the food is still mediocre… Has not improve what’s so ever… This is a fast food restaurants but the service is not fast at all… There’s about three people working there. … The seating area is ok… three tables and bench seatings… There’s not that many customers during the weekday… There fried chicken and baked chicken is not as good as KFC … Quite disappointing since this sells mainly chicken… They sell other quick easy fast food items… There’s also dinner sets… Prices are over priced… Service sucks… there is never parking in the area so be careful… No restrooms as well… no wonder this place only got two stars… Wish they upgraded themselves a little better… still the same when I was a kid…

A grammatically incorrect and generic name for a chicken joint that simply serves good fried chicken. What’s not to love? My friend and I love fried chicken and that’s what we came here for. We ordered a box of 18 hot wings as well as a 8 piece dinner combo(supposedly feeds 3 – 4 people, no shame at all here) and devoured it. They really know how to fry their chicken and it is made right on the spot, as opposed to frying a batch and grabbing pieces as orders come. The wings were small, but very crunchy and quite addictive. As for the fried chicken, it has a nice crispy skin, not overly breaded and just kicks ass. I’ll look forward to the roasted and BBQ chicken as well as the buffalo wings next time. I’ve yet to try other food on the large menu besides the chicken and it’ll probably stay that way. It’s called chicken delicious, not fast food delicious — that’s what you come here for! The large, diverse menu is simply a generic staple for most local small fast food joints in Brooklyn. Nice people here, decent seating and all around, just a friendly, local, tasty chicken spot in Brooklyn. Also one hell of a name.

Home alone with nothing to eat? I ordered from Grubhub and the order came within the 1 hour quoted time. But I wonder… is this place opened by Chinese people? My «pizza roll» looked and tasted like an egg roll but with marinara sauce inside. I legit thought I was eating an egg roll instead. The«breaded broccoli and cheese» looked like the chicken I get from Sweet & Sour Chicken dishes. The gravy on the mashed potatoes had a very distinct Asian taste to it — I tasted soy sauce! Not that I have anything against takeout Chinese food, but when I’m ordering sides and appetizers from a fried chicken place, I’m expecting some good old Southern/American dishes. I think I’ve had way better from KFC or Popeyes.

Their food is good. I wish they didn’t charge $ 1 fee to use seamless, I’d prob order from them more. They forgot fries once in our order and the lady said since the delivery guy wouldn’t be coming back into my area they wouldn’t redeliver because they were too busy. She said she’d add it to our next order. I had to call for my next order in order to get my fries, which they DID honor so I was happy about that. This was the first place that got me to try fried oreos. They were delicious! Their wings are great and so are their mac n cheese wedges but they were VERY small.

Dry rub wings, with side blue cheese of course — awesome. Spicy buffalo wings yummy lol. And spare ribs very good. First time here — and yep, they know how to make chicken wings — the wings are fabulous. I ordered it to stay, and nice woman brought my food to me-whenever each dish was ready. Good service, friendly, and good food. I’d recommend. I’m so frekin full. Lol :-)
