They have a great selection of craft beers and the service there is usually spot on. If Jenni is bartending, you’re in for a good time. But the food menu is limited and the few things I’ve tried are pretty greasy. Also the layout of the whole place is odd and cluttered. If you go there when there aren’t a lot of people there, then you’re in good shape. Otherwise if it’s crowded you’re usually standing in an awkward place. This place is great if you and buddy want to pop in for a beer, but not ideal for large groups.

Had a really crappy experience here the other day. We came around 4:00pm and there were maybe 10 other people being served by one bartender. The bartender didn’t care about us for some reason and was very uninformed of The Brew Inn’s specials. The only reason we came here was for their burger/happy hour specials and the TVs. When you don’t even know your specials and your answer to the question, «what beers do you have on tap since we are on the side of the bar and couldn’t see?» is a simple point to the taps, I wouldn’t even entertain coming back here.

We stopped in here after our day at pour the core to get some food and(more) drinks. We saw online that they had a burger and beer special so we decided to head here. It was a small cozy bar but it had no AC — did I mention it was almost 90 degrees out? So while we were melting in the barstools we were trying to flag down the bartender which was almost impossible. The first time she came over to us she said that they had no specials when online they said they did and she didn’t seem to know what beer was on tap. When we asked her she pointed to the taps… ok thanks? The second time we got her attention was for the check because we could not handle the heat and bad service and warm beer and decided to go elsewhere.

Get the brew burger, and of course, the tots! This is a pretty good local find, nice for drinks and burgers. Keep in mind, it is a pub, so it is noisy and seating is slightly limited. Me and three other friends came here to enjoy drinks and burgers. I got the brew Niger and the tots, with the sweet tea. Everything was so so good! I loved the tomato jam on the burger, and the way the meat was cooked and seasoned. The drink was also great, I loved that the sweet tea was made with bourbon instead of vodka. I have the place 4 stars versus 5 because of the service. There were times are drinks were left empty, multiple times. We once had to call our server from inside to get a drink. That was the only issue.

The new chicken sandwich on the menu is amazing. The bread is spectacular and the chicken is delicious. The other night I ordered the wrong Reuben. It was kindly replaced with the Ron Rueben.

One of the best chicken Rubens I have ever had, now the thing is it’s not actually«on the menu» your best bet is asking for the«Ron Ruben» also known as the«secret Ruben» now don’t get upset if they pretend they don’t know what you are talking about that’s all part of the«schtick» enjoy and thank me after.

Go for Happy Hour burger special and a beer with some tater tots. Enough for a couple to split for two in most cases. Tasty. Bartenders are friendly have obviously worked hard to curate their music playlists which are in tune with my own tastes(Dinosaur Jr, Replacements and into more current bands they influenced).

This was one of the worst meals I’ve had in New York. The wangs were too large and far too saucy

Overpriced beer(which is standard in NYC) with a ton of options on tap. Very good food(Kilbasa Reuben is the bomb) and very friendly staff. Big TV’s but only 3 of them.

All Pros! Don’t even have one negative remark. — The bartenders are amazing! –The inside is a typically bar hub; love the décor and how everything ties in together. — The have a great selection of beer and I love the sampler they have. — The food is AMAZING! Dinner time: I would go with the BK Arugula! My favorite. The pulled pork sandwich is delicious! If you come here you must try the smothered tots/wedges: This is what basically put them on the map. They are AMAZING! I prefer the wedges to the tots but everyone has their choice. Either way I don’t believe you can go wrong. The pierogies are great as well– I make pierogies with my mom sometimes so I can actually say this are pretty good– Obviously nothing compares to my mom(just in-case she reads this) but they come pretty close. They have trivia nights as well– Which is a great way to pass your time. The TV’s are huge so you can also watch the sports or movies that are playing. Nice happy hour bar as well! Like I said nothing bad to say!

Smelled like the inside of a toaster. No really, I felt like I was a crumb in a toaster. It was super warm inside and smelled like bread. So, naturally, I felt like a crumb inside of a toaster. The toasted lager was toasty tasting. The clientele was getting toasty. Didn’t get burned by the prices. Nice energy. Electric inside. Pop in.

I frequent this place fairly often. It’s a basically a Brooklyn bar run by the younger Greenpoint Polish generation. Having grown up there, I can say the pierogies are tops, especially when paired with their keilbasa. Great selection of beers on draught. The bartenders really make it worthwhile. I used to go in solo a lot since it’s nearby my place and always was made to feel welcome and comfortable by the workers there. Jamie is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know. 100% recommend.

The burger was really good but I actually thought the potato wedges may have stole the show. Such a simple thing to do but easy to get wrong. Perfectly crispy. Pretty cool local bar as well. Lots of good beers on draught.

Okay seriously, the BESTBURGEROFMYLIFE. I’ve had my fair share and have to say nothing compares to the burger at Brew Inn. It normally comes medium rare but I opted for medium well and I couldn’t get enough. Despite that it was a gigantic meal I didn’t leave feeling disgustingly full, which makes me think they probably use decent ingredients. Burgers come with a side of wedges, tater tots, or salad. I had the tater tots which were good but kind of too crispy for my liking. The wedges, which my husband had, were amazing and with a slight spice. The waitstaff is very nice, we were there on a Friday evening and they were extremely understaffed for the Islanders game, but be patient and it’ll be worth it. Lucky for me this place is right around the corner, so I’ve visited for many a football game, and the burger will definitely bring me back.

Who knew? The place is a funky layout, with TVs behind the bar(usually with football on), and really dark. Didn’t have a strong draw at first, but I’m glad I visited! Good selection of beers, friendly service, and really really good«bar» food! I tried the PBR-b-que wings, which were so much better than I was expecting! Tangy and crispy, juicy chicken. Yum, definite in for a repeat. And the burgers… Oh man! I wasn’t expecting such a good burger walking in. It’s the type of burger where they ask you how rare you want it. And it comes with tater tots! Some nights you want a good burger and cold beer, and this place offers just that. And it’s never too crowded or loud. Happy addition to Greenpoint!
