The decorations is nice, it’s a good place for gathering. We ordered crispy chicken sandwich and rib sandwich, the dishes taste not bad just a little salty today.

Cozy little spot in Williamsburg. Our friend took us there for dinner when we visited from out of town. Really loved the atmosphere! Food was really good. I ordered miso bass soup-the broth was flavorful and the fish was tender. My boyfriend had gnocchi-so good! My other friend ordered a half chicken and it was very delish as well. I also really liked the orange wine. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!

Had brunch today at Allswell. I had the pancake and the fried chicken sandwich. My boyfriend had the cheeseburger. Everything was delish! The chicken sandwich had a sweetness to it and don’t even get me started on the pancake! So good!

Was a nice spot for brunch. The coffee was authentic but still had grinds floating in my cup, which I’m not a huge fan of. The food was good though, as well as the service!

Yummers brunch was had here. I was completely surprised by the poached egg, avocado and roasted fennel on toast situation. It was exactly the cold weather brunch I was looking for. Completely recommend that. I was disappointed that the«French press coffee» = a diner mug half filled with maybe 1⁄3 c. of lukewarm coffee chucked on my table for $ 3. And I found all of the seating really uncomfortable. We started at the bar, where the wooden stools were super hard and precarious. At the café tables, which were close together, the chairs(I sat on the outside row) were made of the same plywood. Not a deal breaker but if anyone has any hip injuries(raises hand sadly) or travels w olds it will be uncomfortable for you/them. Also we were at the bar waiting for fifteen minutes for a table and no one even offered us a drink menu or acknowledged us. Everyone’s loss, I guess. The food made up for the flaws in service. A solid 3 ½ stars.

All is definitely not well at this little joint. We waited for over an hour after being seated for our food to arrive. The servers will completely unapologetic and inattentive to any requests. The food though was good.

Walked in to this place not knowing what to expect, But it was a great experience! I had tried the Egg & Cheese Sandwich w/Avocado + Fries. Unbelievably good! The waitress was super friendly and attentive of my needs. Great attitude. Place got super packed on Sunday. So try & get there early or make a reservation if possible because you don’t want to miss out on this :)

We arrived for lunch(~1:30) and was told the wait was an hour. Ended up being around 30 mins. +1 Staff seemed like a cheery lot. Attentive, friendly and patient. +1 We came for the crispy chicken sandwich. Was not disappointed. The sandwich was super simple. Chicken, lettuce, onion, mayo. But daaaamn. Literally the crispiest piece of fried anything I’ve ever had. +10000000000 The fries were great too. Not too skinny or thick. The citrus ketchup sauce was a revelation. +1 My friends seem to enjoy their Bloody Marys. Allswell’s drinks menu is pretty extensive with tons of beer, wine and cocktails for your pleasure. +1 PS: All’s well or all swell?

Excellent breakfast spot. Really I have no complaints. Everything was wonderful. I ordered the«biscuits and gravy» — biscuits, gravy, 2 sunny side up eggs, and chili. WHAT a combo. I was skeptical but also in the mood to try something new. It was delicious, perfectly portioned, and beautifully presented. My friend had 2 eggs over medium with sourdough toast and bacon. It came with apple butter — best apple-anything ever. We were feeling ambitious that morning and also ordered the pecan pancake to share. The pecans are only on top and the pancake is huge. The menu is a bit limited but they still offer all your breakfast essentials and they do it very well. Service was great. Our server was polite, gracious, and attentive throughout the entire meal. We took a while to order and stayed longer than normal but he was still great even as the restaurant became more crowded. The set up is very cute, rustic, and welcoming but also what you’d expect from the area(Williamsburg). Not a bad thing. I’d come back for either breakfast or not breakfast. Try it.

We waited an hour to get in for brunch on a pretty fall Sunday. I ordered the egg sandwich as I pretty much do where ever we eat for brunch. It was boring. Served on a plain hamburger bun(yuk) under cooked bacon and an under cooked fried egg. No sauce no sass. It was super crowded and the sandwiches looked tasty, as did the fries. But come on — who screws up an egg sandwich?

We had an awesome experience. You walk in and are right at home. You feel as if you walked into a scene of a movie. We were immediately greeted and sat, had an amazing Negroni. Our appetizers were on point. Squash fritters. squash fritters. The onions in the beet appetizer were outrageous. Homemade gnocchi, and a half chicken. Superb. Finish off with the ginger cake. Thanks for an awesome experience.

We cam here late after a full day of drinking and shopping and it was so perfect! We were in the front corner table and had two full dozen oysters(YUM) and the fries were the best fries I’ve had in a long time AND at the end when we wanted the burger and remaining food to go, the waiter was super fast in accommodating us! The champagne was also great and the people were eclectic and friendly! We will go back for sure!

Overrated, Overpriced, Super un-attentive slow service, which would’ve been forgiven if the food was good — it wasn’t. Typical Williamsburg attitude, e.g. while patrons are waiting to be seated, the staff was too busy drinking shots and avoiding eye contact at any cost, so patrons left. Meh.

This place is very cute. The kitchen closes around 3:30(so right after the brunch rush), but we arrived around 3:20 something. The hostess was kind enough to sit us and we ordered quickly. The place is cute and just like most places in Williamsburg it does not believe in ac. haha The service was good. The place was relatively empty by the time we got our food. Much better than waiting 45 minutes for a table at Sweet Chick. I had the two eggs with sausage. The sausage was definitely on the salty side. The toast slices that came with my order were thick and nicely toasted. My friend had the avocado toast and she was pretty happy with her food. It look fresh and came with poached eggs on top. We were stuffed and were able to sit there for a while. Happy hour begins at 4 and we really considered it, but we were full. The deals seem pretty good, and the specials of the day are nicely written on the chalkboard. Loved the little wallpaper and the colors. This is a chill place. Would definitely consider coming back.

Came here for a week day lunch with a friend. It was pretty empty with nice service and reasonable prices. We got the artichoke sandwich which was delicious. Especially the focaccia bread it comes on. My friend lives in the neighborhood and she says she comes at night to the bar there too. Overall solid low key spot for friends to meet.

One of my favorite places in Brooklyn. The food is amazing… I love the burger and the kale salad in particular. The burger is just so juicy(it melts in your mouth) and the fries are always salty and perfect. The kale salad has some sort of magical cheese component. The broiled oysters are also awesome. I like to get their whiskey cocktail whenever I come. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. It always feels very intimate and the service is usually friendly and reasonably quick. The wallpaper is fantastic as a side note… what else… oh, it gets pretty busy on weekend nights but usually during the week it’s easy to pop in. Enjoy the burger!!!

Allswell is one of my top favorites of Williamsburg and lucky for me that my friend lives a block away, anytime I’m in the area I stop here for a quick bite ! Love the atmosphere, super chill and comfy with great bartenders and waiters, the service is exceptional every single time . They have two versions of the famous Bloody Mary and my favorite is the tequila one which is spicy and delicious with cilantro and all sorts of pickled goodies. It seems like the menu changes often, they have a brunch menu, happy hour menu and dinner menu . A few of my favorites are: 1)the crispy chicken sandwich 2)kale salad 3)little gems 4)custard cream desert 5)fries(a must to try) As much as I tickle my brain to try and figure out what the chef does to the chicken and fries to make them so absolutely incredible I just never get it ! The chicken is so crunchy, perfectly flavored and super juicy, it comes with their house sauce thats sweet and spicy. The fries are most definitely hand cut and cooked to a crispy perfection and seasoned perfectly with sea salt, even though I’m not a fan of fries I always order them here because they are simply the best I’ve ever had Great place for brunch, lunch, dinner or even just a few drinks, the liquor is top shelf and most of the bottles I’ve never seen anywhere. They also have different cocktails they make every night that are unique and delicious ! Allswell is a gem!

One of the better burgers I’ve had in New York! Very fresh and cooked to perfection. We also split the warm house bread with homemade ricotta cheese: YUM! Came here with a friend one night after wandering around Williamsburg. We had heard good things about this place for brunch but decided to check it out to grab a quick bite for dinner. Our waiter was also super friendly and courteous, which always a plus. I like the vibe in here… it seems kinda trendy but simultaneously laidback. Pretty small inside, but still vibrant and lots of activity. While we came on a somewhat mild evening, this definitely seems like a place to kick back and have some quality food and a few brewskis on a cold winter’s night.

My bf and I waited for about 10 minutes. It’s pretty tight in here so waiting by the door gets hard. We were quick to order our food because we read about bad service but didn’t experience that at all. We both had the fried chicken sandwich which was really delicious. It came with almost a chutney sauce that neither of us really loved but was ok. The décor is pretty cool too. It was too crowded for me so I wouldn’t come back but it’s good once.
