Best pizza in the area– hands down! The pastas and other entrees are wonderful as well. I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint. It has a very casual and laid back atmosphere too– great to unwind and just relax after work.

You pay $ 4 for a slice, it’s worth it. The pizza is so gentle and delectable. The oil plays so well with the cheese and topping. I enjoyed staring out at Atlantic Avenue at their counter with one of these in my hand.

Was over at a bar on Smith Street and needed some food delivered. I’d also been meaning to try Table 87 for quite some time, so two birds with one stone. Of course, Seamless overestimated how long delivery would take, but I’ll never complain about receiving pizza ahead of schedule. Ordered three pizzas(not all for me, I swear). Had the: –Fontina with wild mushrooms and truffle oil –Margherita pizza with fresh basil –Breakfast pizza with two farm eggs and house made pancetta First off, the pizza didn’t suffer too much from having to travel, so I can thank the bike delivery dude for that. But yes, the thin crust(which is usually an asset) becomes tricky when your pizzas are loaded with toppings. Anyway, all the pizzas were great. Fresh basil makes everything delicious, and truffle oil is like cheating. The star of the meal was the breakfast pizza, though. If you like runny eggs on your pizza, then you owe it to yourself to try this one. But like I said, if you get it delivered, watch out for the structural integrity. Or else you’ll leave with yolk all over your clothes like I did. Looking forward to check out Table 87 in person in the future to avoid these problems next time!

From the service to the food quality– five stars all the way! We had a number of dishes including a calamari appetizer, a special buffalo mozzarella and pepperoni pizza, which included fresh, delicious basil, the regular margherita pizza with soppresssta, the shrimp stuffed with crab, and the gnocchi with beef short rib. They were all excellent, but the calamari was my favorite along with the 2 pizzas! The coal-fired oven makes the pizza crust a fine balance between chewy and crispy. Pay $ 1 extra for the peppers to accompany the calamari, you won’t be disappointed. There are only a few tables, but we went around 3pm and only had to wait 5 minutes for them to set up the table! Our waiter was amazingly friendly too! We will be back.

I am so glad I live so close to this gem. If I could, I’d probably have a 12-inch Margherita pizza delivered to me from this place every day. I have yet to be disappointed. It’s not cheap, but it’s also not 2Bros pizza. The service is great. Everyone from the cashier to the delivery man seemed pleasant. Although I haven’t had the chance to try more of what’s on their menu, based on what I’ve heard from friends, I have a feeling I might love table 87 more than I already do.

Just tried Table 87 for the first time. I live in the neighborhood and ordered delivery. Fennel sausage roll and a pizza slice. Both arrived blackened-burnt and cold. Will never order from there again and would not recommend them to anyone. Continues to prove my theory that there is a dearth of good eateries in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood(not to say devoid, but let’s say the ratio doesn’t inspire confidence).

We regularly drive 40 mins from Jersey to get our pizza here because it’s our favorite pizza in the entire NYC area. Their coal oven margherita is beyond delicious. They also sell by the slice. The hot peperoncini and roasted garlic sides are soooooooo good!

One of my top 3 favorite pizza places of all time. I used to live around the block from here and would frequent it often. The apps are yummy but the pizza is for sure the main feature. The basic marinara is delicious and I actually love their red house wine! The garlic spread is also incredible when you dine in-house!

So disappointed. I had high hopes based on the Unilocal reviews. We ordered delivery, which arrived cold. I ordered the Ham Calzone for my husband, which he generally liked except it had a small piece of Plastic in it! he though it was perhaps a broken piece of a plastic utensil. Ughh… luckily he chooses his food and he spit it out. I had the Fontina Mushroom pizza– it was pretty bland, I added blue cheese crumbles from my own cheese supply to give it some flavor. Oh well live and learn!

Get their grilled octopus starter. You’ll orgasm at least five times. Pizza is legit here. Can’t go wrong with any of them. Portions are average sized, despite our server exclaiming, «We like to do big portions here to satisfy our guests!». Octopus starter(small), 12″ pizza($ 21…too much), and two glasses of wine came out to about $ 70.

After another absurd wait for Lucali, my girlfriend and I decided to try Table 87. She is a fan of Seamless, I’m not. She ordered the large pie, then told me it was going to be $ 40.00! Seriously? Here’s the breakdown: Pizza: $ 32 Tax: $ 2.54 Tip: $ 5.23 WTF? The pizza was good, although their tomato sauce is a little sweet, but still, I’d go back and did. The next time, I called directly and found the price to be just $ 28.00 total, for the exact same thing. Seamless is F’n things up. It made Table 87 look bad, to not only up the menu price, but to add almost $ 8 more in tax and tip.

I love coal oven pizza and was thrilled to find a place where I can get it by the slice! The slice was delicious and fast! I really liked the friendly people in the restaurant too. I will definitely be returning in the future!

There seems to be a proliferation of pizza restaurants on Atlantic Avenue lately. There were 3 at least within 2 blocks that we saw. We decided on Table 87 which has been on my mind since seeing its name stamped on a wall on Hamilton Avenue in Red Hook. Talk about subliminal advertising especially since Table 87 is no where near Hamilton Avenue! As long as I’ve lived in Brooklyn I haven’t wandered far from 1 or 2 pizzerias that thinking what could be better than pizzerias in an Italian neighborhood?! So I begin my journey to learn what these new places are all about. There are also a few on Fodor’s recent list of 50 Best Brooklyn restaurants I want to try. For now, Table 87 is on the table, so to speak. The pear salad was excellent. It was the perfect ratio of greens to chèvre to pear to dried cranberries to walnuts. The salad was already dressed(note to self, if a guy orders, he won’t ask for the dressing on the side) which was nicely tossed and not overly done. The salad was slightly sweeter than most given its ingredients and dressing but a perfect segway to the savory items to come. It’s also shareable by the way. Our baked clams, a standard on Italian menus were also well done. The clams were sweet and tender underneath the seasoned crumbs because they used small clams and took care not to over broil them. Some places use gargantuan quaghog instead of cherrystones. Bigger is not always better especially when it comes to mollusks in my opinion. We ordered a 12″ pie which was perfect for 2 people.(Any more, go for the 20″ unless you’re ordering entrees too). We added mushrooms. The crust was good with a good chew-crisp factor. Sauce and cheese were excellent, not too saucy and not too gooey and tart. Everything tasted fresh and the gratuitous basil leaves on top were a show to that fact. The pizza was thin enough but the mushrooms must have excreted too much liquid as it made the crust a little soggy. This happens in almost all places so if you really like crisp crusts, ones you can eat with your hands with the slice without folding, then forgo the veggie toppings if you’re a pizza purist but if you must have your mushrooms and don’t mind its effect on the thin crust, then go for it. Fair warning! Overall, good coal fire oven pizza and 2 minute drive from home. Prices are reasonable compared to Manhattan but the best part is there is no insane wait and you can virtually park in front of its door!

We finally got a chance to eat in here. The staff are awesome and accommodating, especially with our little one with us. Small restaurant, leave stroller in car or home, they got high chairs. Food comes quick. Recommend the Margherita and arugula with prosciutto pie with red sauce. My husband has had more of their pies n recommend all of them. Call ahead, they get busy.

1. What place delivers coal oven pizza? 2. What place serves coal oven pizza… by the slice?! Answer: Table 87. By far the best delivery pizza I’ve ever had and one of my favorite pizza joints in all of NYC! Not cheap but I wouldn’t say it’s outrageously priced either – if anything, the quality matches the price. On average, delivery takes 40 minutes, which isn’t so long and well worth the wait. I’ve had my fair share of NYC coal oven pizza – some bad, some mediocre, some delicious. The one thing few places can do, which Table 87 does, is make it possible to enjoy coal oven pizza in the comfort of your own apartment!

This is a small shop on atlantic avenue close to the bqe(I had never noticed it before). When we rode up to the store, we thought it was just a take out place because of the layout, but upon further investigating we realized there was seating in the back that holds about 20 people, and 2 small tables outside. After we arrived the main waiter proceeded to announce the specials of the day to the entire room. We found that a little unorthodox since some people had already placed orders, but it did feel a little bit more intimate — like we were a group of friends. It did take a long time for us to get our water(we had to ask for it and it finally arrived 5 mins afterwards) and they dropped my chicken on the floor the first time so the wait was extra long as he had to grill up some more. Our waiter was friendly but a bit too chatty and ultimately the food was just mediocre. I just don’t get these claims of the best pizza in nyc. Perhaps it’s the type of pizza I ordered(fig with chicken instead of ham). There were huge leaves of cold basil(it wasn’t cut up) thrown on our pizza and the figs weren’t cooked/heated either. My boyfriend felt the same way, so in a nutshell we’ll be sticking to roberta’s.

So good! Pizza margherita was delicious. Zuppa di clams fantastic. No sand. Great broth. Prosciutto di Parma sandwich and burgers very good. Chix Marsala was plentiful and flavorful. decent service. Not my neighborhood but would come back if in the area. Totally worth the trip.

This place simply has amazing food! The pizza is awesome. I got a pizza with burrata and sweet soppressata. It was soo delicious! They also give you some hot peppers and garlic on the side! We also ordered grilled octopus. This was cooked perfectly, the best grilled octopus I’ve had. It was served over arugula, which went very well together. Last, my boyfriend and I shared pork osso buco over pappardelle pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the pork was delicious, coming right off the bone. Every time I visit this restaurant, I leave wanting more!

On the rare occasion I allow myself delivery pizza, Table 87 is my go-to. It’s easily one of the best places to get a pie in all of Brooklyn — and you can enjoy it in the comfort of your own home, Netflix and all! And now that I know you can walk in and get a slice… that may motivate me to leave the house more.

Great great pizza without fuss or distractions! Portions are hearty and there will be enough for the hungry! Give the salads a go as well. Things here are simple and yet exquisite.
