I love love love this place. I’ve been ordering from here for years and it has been consistently delicious and fresh — it’s my take-out and delivery go-to. Service is always quick and very friendly. If you’re looking for cheap and tasty middle eastern, this is the place.

We were walking around the neighborhood and found this place by accident. We got salads and kebab. Prices are not bad and portions are medium sized. Not sure that I would go back especially for the food here, but it’s a good place to drop by if you are looking for something decent at a reasonable price.

I grew up eating authentic middle eastern food and this place doesn’t disappoint. Don’t pay any attention to the name, which initially caught me off guard as well. Fatoosh is a delivery and takeout spot, however the food is always fresh and delicious.

A decent lady finger, but it’s also a by pricey. Service could have been faster, but the guys were rather pleasant.

This place is consistently great. ONLY chicken shawarma wrap I will eat. The pita is always fresh and not store bought. great sauce and fresh. The combination platter is also good and a great value. Cheap and fast delivery

Pizza? BBQ? Nope. Don’t be fooled by the name of this place — Fatoosh serves up the best falafel, gyro, and all those delicious Middle Eastern dishes that I can’t pronounce, in the city! Great option for delivery, too! The falafel plate is a bargain and comes with a bunch of different sides that’ll make you feel good!

For takeout, Fatoosh will give you the best bang for your buck in a typically pricey neighborhood. The falafels, shawarmas, and chicken sandwiches are all flavorful and hearty enough for a full meal on their own. Quick delivery and friendly counter service complete the package.

Their gyro wrap is like no other. I can simply just eat the wrap with butter and be content. Being just content is not the american way though so I ordered their NEW bbq chicken gyro and it was almost perfect. The chicken and the bbq sauce were perfect I just wanted more veggies in the gyro. Their combination platter is also good but you can get your food with varying heat levels as a result so ask them to handle that if you like your entire plate hot. The gentleman that served us was very very outgoing and presumptuous but in a good way. it added to a very positive experience. Will be trying their middle eastern pizza next.

This place is great. You alread know that. Here are some important tips: –It is a store front more than a restaurant… no waiter service, though there are tables –everything is so good, and there are so many options, combos are the way to go –the pizza is very good, and even better cold and soggy the next day – I’m serious! –mouhamara is very good but a little spicy –portions are generous, so value is good

Quite simply the best falafel I have ever had… bread rolled out & baked while you wait… Fantastic

Been going to Fatoosh for years. Every single item is delicious. Yes, I have ordered them all. I often bring friends and all have adopted it as their own. Perfect location for grabbing food before heading to Brooklyn Bridge Park. Recommended bites: chicken platter, shish kabob sandwich, assorted salad platter(they have the best grape leaves!), and the spinach pitza.

My friend and I got take out from here last week, it was amazing and I’m going back tonight! We got the grilled chicken platter which came with grilled veggies, hummus, another delicious dip(sorry not sure the name) and pita… we split it and there was more then enough! The guys there were friendly and the wait for our food wasn’t very long, def will be back again!

One of the most delicious meals i had whole visiting New York. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and it was so good. The chicken was soft and so flavorful. I would recommend getting a side garlic sauce(though don’t get too close to anyone after because your breath will be stinky, but its so worth it). Everything is really fresh and it was perfect for the rainy day in new york. The people working were also incredibly nice and were quick to take our orders and make the food.

I originally came to this place wanting a classic gyro. I realized quite quickly that this is not the place to get such. As long as you go to this place knowing it is not your typical Mediterranean eatery, you WILL fall in love with their food. Once I discovered the chicken shawarma pita, I fell in love… HARD. The flavors are so unique! It has an amazing sauce and a sliver of delicious pickle(I didn’t think that sounded good either, but trust me). I’ve eaten that schawarma twice in 4 days. Yes. My name is Mike. And I am a shwarma addict.

Delicious little spot for some good middle eastern food. I had the grilled chicken wrap and it was everything you’d want in a wrap! Freshly grilled chicken with the perfect char, lettuce, tomato, and a yummy creamy garlic sauce. My friends tried their platters and really liked them as well. The food is made to order so it took a little while to get our orders to go after we came in and placed the order. But not really complaining since they were being made fresh. I’d call in the order if you’re in a rush. Definitely a great take out spot; they do have seating inside but I knocked a star off because its a little dark and not so inviting inside. The guy taking your order is super friendly and he threw in a bunch of extra garlic sauce for us as well. Give them a try if you’re in the area.

Best falafel in the ‘hood. The muhammara is super yummy! I lived off the platters for weeks when I moved into BK Heights. The guys that work there are great, too. There are some tables to eat in, but I usually just get take out.

Stopped in one night and had the falafel platter. First off, they have spots to dine, but it is not really a dine in restaurant. I was the only one there on a Saturday night! Most of their business is delivery/takeout. It was freezing inside! I had to keep my coat on. The hummus and muhammra were ok. The latter was actually pretty good, but a bit liquidy compared to others I’ve had. Then falafel, that was where I was sad. It was not fresh! It came out of a mix! I have had some great falafel, but this was not it. It was very dense, almost gummy when chewed, and very uniform in texture. No fresh parsley or anything. I paid 7 bucks which is a nice deal but overall, not what I was expecting given the reviews. Maybe I should have gotten meat or something, since that is what most people seem to be getting here, but falafel is such a middle eastern standard I was sad it just fell flat. I might come here again if I was in the area, but definitely not worth any particular effort to go to.

Yummy falafel and yummy grilled chicken. Pair them with a refreshing tabbouleh salad and some fresh baked pita bread and you certainly have yourself a nice and healthy meal. They are very prompt with their delivery and very friendly when I come I to the store. I just wish they were open later!

I’m a big meat eater but believe it or not, when I come here I usually get a lentil soup and the selection of dips(combination salad platter) — I love the muhammara — I could eat that stuff by the bucket. Since I no longer work in the area, I have’t been there in a while but I really much go back.

Whole Wheat Chicken Pizza was OK, nothing out of this world. I think I like Singas Famous Pizza better. When my friend ordered this her pizza crust was burnt. No bueno. So this place is a HIT or Miss. Good Luck!

‘Toosh! There is is. A friendly hole in the wall ready to sling the freshest and most flavorful tabouleh and stuffed grapes leaves in the city. My only dislike here is the peppery, white-gravy-esque hummus. But the baba and other salads are spot-on, the freshly-made, thick and doughy pita is hot and delicious, and the price is right. How can this not be your(jock) jam?

Went to Fatoosh… and fell in love. They make their own pitas here and that’s the main point. They have a nice menu and tout their pita pizzas they call pitzas. We didn’t try them, but the platters were amazing. Comes with hummus, rice, side salad or muhhammara. Yum! The pitas were fluffy and rolled right in front of you, served to you hot off the grill. Nothing compares! We ordered a side of babaganoush as well. The platters were huge and flavorful. Very good. I got the lamb shish kabob, hubs got the meat combo which consisted of two meats – lamb sausage and kefta. It was excellent. Prices were extremely reasonable. They have free delivery. A must stop.
