Best pizza in New York City! The workers are very nice and there is a good selection on the menu. Although I only order the cheese pizza. A hidden secret.

I ordered from here because it was the only place delivering gluten free pizza.(I’ve been gluten free for many years, and I get it – some things should be just left alone. But it was cold, I’d been trekking all over Brooklyn in the snow, I’d somehow skipped lunch, and I just wanted f*cking pizza.) And…it was decent. I didn’t expect a miracle, but I imagine it could be better. First, the toppings were not terribly flavorful or well cooked. They offer beef pepperoni and sausage and they just lack the oomph of the pork versions. There was definitely not enough sauce on the pie and it wasn’t very flavorful, nor was there really enough cheese. And the vegetables were pretty raw. So I don’t know what the cooking set up is, but gluten free or not, this pie could use some work. Second, with gluten free pizza crusts, you often need to cook them twice. That is par-cook, then add toppings and finish the cooking. Gluten free doughs cook differently than regular dough, and while the bottom of the crust was fine, the top half next to the toppings was raw and kind of gritty. Lastly, and this irks me with just about every place that offers gluten free items, they charged more for the dough AND the toppings. Charging more for gluten free dough/bread/whatever is common(+ $ 3 in this case.) The gluten free crust is 12″, compared to their regular 10″ and 18″ regular crust options. Obviously much closer in size to the 10″ than the 18″, but of course they charge the 18″ topping price. If you’re going to do that, my pizza should be STACKED with toppings. It was not. So I paid $ 25 for a 12″ mediocre pizza. Gluten free folks routinely pay more money for less food. Please stop this practice. It was decent enough to order again, given that my options are so limited, but I hope that the restaurant might read this review and consider revising some of the above.

Food took over an hour to arrive and when it did I was unimpressed. I got the chicken kebab meal. No veggies? It tasted like baked chicken and rice o roni :(my brother for the pita sandwich in fries. He ate half. The fries were hard. No Bueno.

Should have just went with pizza. I ordered the«steak fajita panini» with french fries, spicy buffalo wings and a slice of cheesecake. The panini was the most edible thing. But I was pretty disappointed in the lack of the fajita aspect there. It was literally just the same kind of «steak» from a Philly cheesesteak, with salsa and peppers. So kind of fajita seasoning, or the strips of steak that you expect in a fajita. I was pretty much just eating a cheesesteak panini with a little bit of salsa. The fries were, you guessed it, soggy, oily, sad and inedible. A horrible disappointment. I would have gotten a wrap(that would have been much better) if it weren’t for the fact that they were almost $ 8 and didn’t come with a side. The buffalo wings weren’t terrible but they were pretty fatty and not as enjoyable as they should have been. The cheesecake was very bad. I’ve never had bad cheesecake in my life until now. I can’t even describe the taste, it was just not good cheesecake. If you like cheesecake, don’t eat it here. If you hate cheesecake, don’t eat it here. I’m really disappointed and have no idea how this place gets away with serving the kind of fries that they do. I don’t recommend this place for any of the items that I’ve mentioned, but it seems like they might have decent pizza. If I were desperate and this place was the only place to gets wraps, then maybe I’d try one. Otherwise, heck no.

During a recent vacation in Brooklyn, we grabbed some pizza and kababs from here as it was around the corner from the airbnb apartment we rented. The food was solid. Pizza was great with generous portions/slices, and the kabab platters(chicken) were great too. Definitely nice to have in the neighborhood.

Ordered take out, couldn’t eat the chicken kabob, it just smelled like sh&t, and it tasted equally bad. Falafel was one of the worst I ever had. How do you mess up falafel. Stay away from this place.

Soggy, sad fries and old tasting wings. Don’t do it. Ordered fries and wings on a rainy Sunday for delivery. The order took at least 45 minutes. The fries were inedible — oily and the consistency of al dente pasta. The wings tasted as if they’d been frozen for months. Disgusting.

The small pizza with pineapple was delicious. The garlic bread not too much. It tasted like too much garlic powder and not enough garlic. We tried to order again(girl’s night, there was a bunch of us) on GrubHub and it seemed like it went through but when we called they said they had too many deliveries so they cancelled mine. GrubHub also ended up charging the card $ 1 eight times. Mad at both but… sigh

An odd place. Well kind of. It serves your typical american appetizers such as mozzerrella sticks, fries, etc. But then it also serves hummus, baba ghannouj, and other stuff. But I guess it’s a mixture of mediterranean and american, but it’s very delicious. They also have heroes, salads, and cold sandwiches. First time, I ordered their chicken shawarma and rice platter, it was really good, and their tahini sauce is great. The other time, I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak which was downright amazing and toasted in the pizza oven for that bit of a crunch in the bread. So good. Haven’t tried the pizza, and don’t think I will, as I feel like Roscoes is probably the best in the neighborhood. The sandwich and shawarma was off the hook though, so definitely check it out.

Delivery Review Only: The fact that they have a dairy free pizza option puts them on the map for me. Not to mention that it’s Daiya Cheeze. YUM. Their pizza options are great, they allow you to substitute the Daiya cheeze on their pizza menu however you have to pay $ 2 extra for it. It would be nice if they updated the different delivery apps to better customize the pizza’s, even ordering a plan cheese pizza with one or two toppings is a times difficult because they don’t provide clear options. But I digress. The pizza is decent and I order from here time and again.

I am actually able to have vegan pizza delivered to Crown Heights. I am so thankful. The pizza is way overpriced and incredibly mediocre when compared to any other vegan pizza I’ve eaten in NYC. The reason why I give it 3 stars is because it’s decent for what it is and satisfies a craving. I’m not entirely sure I’d recommend their baba ghanoush– I ordered it once and it was very bizarre tasting.

Meh. You’ve experienced better. Prices are not nearly as good as parts of Manhattan where stiff competition drives down prices and raises quality standards for both pizza joints and Mediterranean cheap eats. Pita — You question the freshness of it all. Do they make or cook anything for real there, or is it generally unboxed, unwrapped, and heated up. You eat here often and you’ll find you can’t expect any real standards. The flavor will either be a bland mixture of tired veggies, weak sauce, and extra dry falafel, or like that one time it was so spicy you almost got a third degree burn the next day(you know what I mean). Pass on the pita to be honest. Pizza — Actually, the pizza is good when fresh. They make a nice dough themselves, the sauce is balanced, and the toppings cook up well(I recommend asking for a little extra time in the oven). The slices aren’t as cheap as you’d hope, or the larger pies, but that’s mainly from a lack of competition in the neighborhood. Overall, they need to cut down their menu and eliminate the Italian sandwiches and pasta, and focus on raising quality of the pita part of their pasha. It could be a match made in heaven for food combinations, but they fail at it. Pasha — An honorary title in the Ottoman Empire or Egyptian Kingdom(like a Lord), placed after the name.

Full Disclosure: this review is strictly for the«pita» portion of this unfortunately-named spot. There are much better slices in the neighborhood and so I only come here for the chicken shawarma or falafel, both of which are resoundingly average. But the price point is more than fair($ 5.50 for a falafel or chicken pita) and it’s not thaaat much worse than Zeytoon’s, the closest thing to ‘authentic’ Mediterranean in the immediate area. Not bad in a pinch but definitely not worth a special trip.

Love the pizza. Crust is crispy and the cheese tastes great. As for the falafal, it tastes great. For the person who said it is not fresh, you are wrong. I know its fresh because I have seen them make it from scratch. Owner even offered to sell me some mix, so I could fry at home. The new menu is excellent and I have tried practically everything on it. Love the chicken parm panini. Don’t let bad reviews sway you, try the food.

Falafel sandwich is bland, I suspect they may use frozen falafel – or at least that’s what it tastes like. The pizza is not fresh. If you walk in when they open you’ll see yesterdays pie ready to be heated and served. They taste accordingly. The service is irritatingly slow. You always end up waiting for 15 min no matter what you’re getting. Bottom line, this place is mediocre at everything. With so many great places all around it, I have no idea how they stay in business.

I have been so disappointed in pizza take out recently that I had almost given up. Then I decided to give pasha’s a try. I was not disappointed. The food came surprisingly fast for a seamless order each time. The crust was a perfect thin, but stable cheese and sauce delivery system. We got bacon the first time(which was good) and sausage the second(which was alright) then tried beef the third time. Unfortunately they did not have any ground beef but they called within minutes to ask what we would like instead. I’ll have to give the falafel next time!

Disappointing. Delivery of one pizza with one topping, plus one order of mozzarella sticks, took almost an hour and a half. That’s a seriously long wait. There wasn’t much of the topping on the pizza, which was itself rather mediocre, and even with a slight discount through , the order was pretty expensive. The delivery guy was very nice, and apologized for the long wait, but even so I think I’ll order elsewhere next time. Oh well.

You know food is really good or really bad when you begin writing the review before you finish eating! Waste of money? Check! Super greasy? Check! «Tahini» sauce that tastes like a total different sauce that expired 5 years ago? Check! «Shredded chicken» that tastes steamed not grilled? Check! Bad Hummus? Check! Mozzarella sticks that weren’t fried properly so the flour is uncooked? Check!!! Never again!

Neighborhood pizza shop that actually has flavor. In a neighborhood that is filled with tire shops, bodegas, and coffee shops, this place is legit. You can judge a pizza joint from their cheese pizza, and this works. They used to have a lentil soup that was great but they have recently taken it off the menu.
