Not bad at all. Open til 10pm. The place is super clean. Most of the time I have to clean all the plates and cups but not here. All the food taste really good and I like the service a lot. Very kind and nice. Will be back. Love the green tea layer crêpe cake

Went to C2 café for dinner. Ordered the food and the appetizer came 30 minutes later. The main dishes arrived 25 minutes after. Seeing as how we were one of the only families here, i expected the food to arrive sooner. The dishes came one by one and we eventually began waiting for the next dish. However, the food tasted great. I also ordered a strawberry milkshake. It tastes artificial and it lacks flavor. I don’t recommend this at all. They gave us a macaron cake for dessert. It was delish. The service was really good and the servers were super friendly. Most likely will not be returning in the future for dinner but will be returning for dessert.

Ordered the $ 13 combo which came with rice, fish, soup, tea and a macaroon cake. The fish appeared impressive serving wise but tasted just OK and you just got the soup of the day. If you added it for what it’s worth, it’s not much of a deal. Anyhow the macaroon cake $ 5 was HORRIBLE. Decided to let the dude know the shell of the cake was too HARD, the middle layer of cream too SPONGY and the bottom wet texture. I took that macaroon apart. So the waiter/boss? first implies i didn’t know how to eat macaroon actually trying to sound condescending, telling me it has to be eaten like a sandwich like im going to risk breaking my teeth biting down on that hard as a rock shell. After he talked about how a macaroon cake is different from a regular macaroon, how this was a special hard chocolate flavor, how the other flavors wouldn’t be as hard… funny bc another Unilocaler Caroline K here had the same complaint about a another flavored macaroon being«rocky and cold»

I actually tried to like this place. I been there before for the Macarons, and went back to try the food. Both were ok, I don’t have any issues other than overpriced for the quality. But I’m really here to write about the customer service. Here’s what happened So they called me since I ordered out but I missed the call. I call them back. A female worker picks up, I explain that I am calling you back because I just missed your call. Turns out she didn’t speak english. OK, so I change the subject(since I have her on the line) I ask her when will the food be ready in Chinese(she understood mandarin). She said«uhh 45 minutes?» It’s already been 24 – 26 minutes since I ordered the food. So I said 45 minutes more is way too long, so then she said«30 minutes?» Now I am at the point where I just want to cancel the order because I’m not sure what’s going on. So she went to get her boss(I assume). This dude actually speaks english. Great, but I don’t want to go over what happened, I just tell him I want to cancel my food because the other person said it’s going to be another 45 minutes? Dude starts getting an attitude, saying online it says 45 for delivery(uhh, that’s not what your worker just said to me, because she said 45 more minutes). Long story short, customer service is crappy here.

The lady is a bit rude, but few of the macarons taste good. But not good enough as Laduree(Madison one) and Macaron Café/Shop in Manhattan. They offer 1 free macaron of choice if you purchase 9 macarons. Hm. Also, not much good stuff though.

Oh C2 café, what a big disappointment you’ve become. We stumbled upon C2 café a few months ago and we were blown away by how big the portion was and how we were able to get Chinese dishes that you can’t usually get in those Americanized Chinese take out places. They were mediocre at best, but you couldn’t beat the price and the amount of food you got! But the last several time we ordered from C2, the quality has changed. Everything we used to ordered was different. The Pad Thai was horrendous and did not taste like anything like it used to… They probably changed chefs or something because the quality changed and not for the better. Maybe we’ll try you again in the future.

Their rewards system is cute. Macarons aren’t worth for what they taste like but try their pad thai! Not as authentic but I like it !

It was truly exciting to find macarons in Bensonhurst and we decided to give it a try. We bought a piece of classic pistachio and raspberry chocolate. Raspberry was fine but pistachio was as dry as a lego block. As soon as I touched it, it felt too rocky and cold. When I returned to shop and ask for an exchange for my uneaten, stale one. Store people were rude and told me their macaron is different. This place does not serve typical macarons. Save your money and tastebuds for elsewhere. I will not return!

My review is based solely on the bubble tea. This place is nice and quiet. The counter girls are very sweet and glad to help. However, the bubbles, as well as the tea are mediocre. There is room for improvement. I asked if it was possible to get a bubble tea with no sugar and she said yes… Upon giving it to my mom and both of us taking a sip… It was SOOSWEET. Ugh…

I think this place is a hit or miss for some people but for me, my bf and my friends… this place is a hit! You have to know what to order here and what to get. Highly recommend the Porkchop House special if you’re dining in and all skewered appetizers. Especially the delicious bacon roll-up! Smoothies are top notch here and they do use real fruit which is a trait I look for when 90% of this area uses powder or artificial flavors. In terms of Macarons, some select types are way too sweet for me but I recommend the green tea or pistachio if you’re like me. I’m a repeat customer and always stop by for a smoothie or snacks. You can’t go wrong with the Mango or Papaya smoothie here!

So this was our next stop on the 86th St food crawl last Sunday. Boy was I disappointed after having an awesome meal at Spot 1 café. We wanted something sweet and got lured in by the macaroon pic outside. My husband ordered the coconut and I ordered the green tea. His was fresh and mine was at least a week old. So much so that I couldn’t take a bite of the awful thing. $ 2.50 for a week old macaroon, which went right into the garbage. Sorry C2 Café I am not that wealthy…

Ordered a macaroon cake: pistachio with white chocolate, the cake is really big. Definitely worth the $ 5. However it can get very messy to eat and after eating too much of it, I didn’t want it anymore. Definitely want to try their other macaroon cakes. They also order other food like rice, noodles, etc. which can be good if you’re not interested in macaroons or cheesecake.

After ditching Munchies, my friends and I decided to try C2. It was quiet, dim, and a national geographic channel was on. The first thing that grabbed our attention was their selection of desserts. They had many flavors and sizes of macaroons, cakes, etc. I believe a macaroon is around 2.50 each. A cake slice and big macaroon is $ 5. My friend and I decided to split a bigger chocolate macaroon, while my other friend tried the red velvet. Everyone could agree that they were delicious. I think the macaroons were better compared to Spot. The only downfall is that it’s sort of pricey for some of the portions.

They have Junior cheesecake! How can I possibly not like this place. They also have a lot of macaroon flavors among other pastries. I had the tiramisu macaroon which was good, I can’t wait to try their other desserts.

At first I really liked this place but now that I think about it, I’m not sure how I feel about this place. Their main point is the desserts. They are purchasing from other popular shops like Junior’s, Eileen’s, and Macaron Café and re-selling. So is this café really worth 4 stars by selling desserts that weren’t made by themselves? Besides the desserts, they also serve main entrees, skewers, and drinks. I’ve had the udon noodles. I did not want any meat so I asked for vegetables but the vegetables actually costs more than the beef or chicken. Say wah!!! $ 6.95 for that seems pretty steep to me… However, I do think that it was tasty. The veggies were like hibachi style veggies. It has a great variety like zucchini, carrots, red peppers, green peppers, onions, mushroom, and brocolli. But the broth was bland. Still. it’s not worth it to me knowing the price. I wish the lady had at least mention the price because I don’t think anyone would expect vegetables to be more expensive than meat. I’m pretty sure that lady is the owner/partial owner or something. She was very nice and hopeful and told us the special deals they offered. And of course, the macarons/macaron cake was good. I really enjoyed the matcha one. It is extremely bitter, unlike most, but it tastes like how real green tea should taste like. Just few weeks ago, it was $ 2.25 and now it’s $ 2.50. Personally, I think the macaron cake seems more worth it at $ 5 but the macaron cakes only have 4(?) flavors. Also… like another Unilocaler has mentioned. Not sure if tips is required for dining in.

I decided to come here for a try with my boyfriend on a casual Sunday. We ordered fair amount of food for brunch. Entrée – marinated chicken on top of rice. Appetizers – beef stew, fried chicken wings, and bacon roll-ups. Two drinks – an iced coffee and dragon fruit & mango smoothie came with a macaroon on your choice for $ 5(which the store staff recommended). Out of these food, I like their chicken wings and bacon roll-ups the most. It was a pleasing experience to give this new café a try.

This place deserves a solid 5 stars from me. I came here tonight with my sis and Gabby S to try out what this newly opened café had to offer. The assortment of foods I’ve had which ranged from beef udon, sausage skewers, bacon skewers, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, fruit smoothies, macarons, crème brûlée, etc(you can check the Unilocal pictures out) were ALLAMAZING. What’s special about this store is the fact that they combine a good amount of both food and dessert all in the same store. No more having to move from one establishment to another for a meal and dessert after. They also serve a big assortment of macarons here but the macarons they sell are from Macaron Café I believe, so they don’t make the macarons themselves but they were delicious regardless. I really enjoyed the rose lychee flavor and the green tea came close second. The smoothies are amazingly delicious as well. I think you get 24 ounces of any combination of fruits blended into a smoothie for 3.50. freaking amazing. Customer service was impeccable. My server Cassie?(sp) was extremely attentive and friendly. She definitely exuded service with a smile. What was even more nice was the fact that she gave us the complementary macaron cakes to take home which I thought was so sweet. If you’re reading this review, thanks girl! :) p. s. I’m not sure if you’re suppose to tip but we did so make sure to tip well if you’re sitting down for a meal, even a dollar or two into the tip jar is fine. Overall I had a really nice time at this café, it’s really refreshing being treated with such a warm friendly aura at C2 Café and the fact that the food is delicious is never a let down. I will be back!

Ordered an iced coffee and Almond Rasberry cake. Pretty standard coffee but the cake was sweet, moist with just the right amount of frosting and almond slivers– tasty treat. Very friendly service too!
