That has become my go to bagel store despite the fact that there are two others closer to my apartment. Melissa and Carlos run the place and they are two of the nicest people I have met in Bay Ridge. Bagels are made fresh and are delicious. On weekends they’ll do special bagels like a french toast bagel or crumb cake bagel. I would nominate their coffee as some of the best around too! Lunch is good too. They have a variety of wraps, sandwiches and the like. I go with the Manny Wrap when I come in for lunch — grilled chicken, red peppers, pesto-mayo. They’re open 24 hours on weekends which makes for a convenient place to stop when getting off the train late on a Saturday night.

Of all the bagel places in Bay Ridge, I must pledge my allegiance to Bagel Supreme. Their bagels are simply the best, and the shop is charming in its simplicity. They obviously serve quite a few regulars, and it’s not uncommon to be greeted by name. As a perk, it’s just a short walk to the shore and parks, which makes for a great weekend morning

BESTBAGELSTOREINBAYRIDGE!!! love coming here for all different types of food. Believe it or not they have a wide variety of foods and bagels you don’t find anywhere else! Love the iced coffee here I always start my morning with it. The guy behind the counter is quick and gets my food ready within minutes of ordering it. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Ordered a bagel sandwich and it was delicious. Yiu can tell the bagels are fresh and made on premise. Nothing spectacular about the place but if you want a good bagel this place wont fail.

Waaaaay rude. The cashier didn’t communicate clearly for an order and instead of offering what I’m PAYING to order — a toasted bagel with butter, she just looked at me dumbfounded and asked if I wanted to microwave my bagel. Lady. Get a clue.

There are a ton of bagel shop options in Bay Ridge but this is by far the best one. All bagels are handmade and they put the perfect amount of cream cheese on each bagel. Lots of parking near by.

Really too bad that such great bagels have to be enriching a far flung enclave of bay ridge– where as I would travel a mile out if my way gladly to consume these immaculate huge holed beautiful gastronomic monsters! The place looks like every other bagel place, flashing lights, boars head signs. But inside the manager is particular to detail when taking orders. Bagels are so wonderful and crisp and the huge old boiler takes up the back. If only every bagel shop were at least an imitation.

Have been twice since moving to brooklyn for work and I must say the service is outstanding fast too and the food is great. For anyone who has not been I recommend going and trying the«EVERYTHINGWITHCREAMCHEESEANDBACON» and a coffee. $ 5.25 the reason I only gave it 4 stars was because its a cash only shop(atm on site).

I thank the heavens every day that this place is so close to where I live and to the train station. Seriously delicious. Most of the other bagels in the area I’ve had are really doughy, soft and bland — not at Bagel Supreme. They toast my everything bagels and they are crispy and salty and amazing with eggs or with cream cheese. Coffee is good there too and they have a decent selection of juice. Also their muffins are super moist and delicious. I don’t know how my lazy non-breakfast cooking butt could survive without them.

Best. Bagels. Ever. We wandered into this place one day because my three year old was hungry while we were walking around town. I was blown away by the size and freshness of their bagels. One of my measures of a great bagel is if the plain bagel is delicious without toasting it. These bagels certainly pass that test! Also, the everything bagels are topped perfectly and the price is unbelievable. Nine dollars for a dozen bagels! Their breakfast sandwiches are also incredible and well priced. Definitely recommend!

Good authentic bagels and a good price. Quality for the price with an assortment of freshly made and tasty salads and cream-cheeses. It’s my new breakfast — on — the — go spot!

The bagels here are actually really good and I would have given this place 4 stars if the guy behind the counter wasn’t trying to charge me for a water that I already had when I walked into the store. My wAter was already open and i had already drank a substantial amount on my way to the bagel store. Even the wrapper was slightly torn a bit, my point clearly I had already brought it into the store with me. The guy was looking at me as if I was lying. Really!!! Do you think I started chugging the water in the store?! After I told him it was mine he proceeded to give me $ 1 dollar less than I was owed and when he saw my face he grabbed another dollar. Unreal! Needless to say I have never had that problem before and will not be coming back here.

Bagel Supreme might be a stretch, but you get credit for freshly boiled bagels on the premises. Thanks for not giving me ish, for toasting my bagel. Additionally, grilled breakfast sandwiches were good and service is great in Spanish, English, and Arabic.

While the place might have two or more names(the sign says«Bagel Supreme» but this Unilocal listing doesn’t), I can honestly say these are some of the best bagels I have ever had, and I’ve lived in Brooklyn my entire life. Each bagel is handmade, and it shows. No two bagels are the same shape. The flavor that is embedded in these bagels is perfect. Each bite is doughy by not too doughy, slightly sweet, fluffy, and well-balanced for whatever spread you happen to choose. I have had their egg, everything, whole wheat everything and poppy seed bagels, and I have not been disappointed on any of them. I almost always get their tuna salad, which also happens to be delicious and not over-dressed. You actually taste that it is tuna, as opposed to mayo with a little but of fish thrown in for good measure. Few things will get me to take the trip all the way to the end of the R line in Brooklyn just for the hell of it. These bagels are one of those things. HIGHLY recommended, 100%.

I almost wonder if I went to the wrong place based on the other glowing reviews. I was in the area at a friend’s place and wanted to pick up bagels to bring back to Boston with me(I usually get them near my father’s house). I saw the reviews and went here. As soon as I saw the bagels, I knew they wouldn’t be good. They were giant and malformed. When I ate one, the taste was fine but the texture was all wrong. It was very soft with big air bubbles. If you want a sandwich on a bagel, I’m sure these bagels would be fine for that. But if you’re looking for good bagels to have with cream cheese or butter, I’d look elsewhere.

Best bagels in Bay Ridge, possibly Brooklyn! So fortunate they are just a couple blocks from me and really close to the subway. A super convenient spot for on-the-go breakfast and coffee. I recommend the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on plain or sesame, or, plain bagel toasted with butter. Only downside is they are cash only but it’s worth planning a trip to the ATM for Bagel Supreme!

Why does this place not have a billion positive reviews? They are the BEST bagels around. Without a doubt they are far superior to the rest in the area(and beyond the area too). The bagels are traditional water boiled(as all proper New York bagels should be!!!). They have the perfect amount of chewiness while still being soft and utterly delicious. Egg and cheese on a plain or whole wheat everything… so good. This place should be packed at all times. I think they deliver and I know they stay open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday nights which is awesome. Easiest 5 stars I have ever given.

I’m not sure what the history of this place is, but it sure is good now! You can see it has been renovated, even the name has changed to Bagels Supreme. A bagel store most present itself in a way that makes you feel you can pick any bagel from the batch and get a good one, this place does that. The bagels are separated but in a neat way, and you can tell which ones are fresh because they are in open air and visibe and not hidden in a glass case I ordered an egg bagel with cream cheese and an arizona iced tea, came out to $ 2.99 which is fine by me considering what other places charge. The bagel was chewey just the way i like it and the cream cheese was cool which makes it taste better. They have boars head deli meats and other items like gourmet muffins. Staff was friendly and multi-ethnic with an Italian guy, an Asian woman and a Spanish woman. I really like this store and i will take a trip back when i’m in the area.
