WORSTSERVICEEVER. It took forever to make our paella and then our server brought the wrong dish. Then she did the same thing to the table next to us. There were 8 people total in the restaurant.

I was anxious to try this place for a while. Definetly a great place to watch a soccer game. An impressive display of Wine and Spirits. Service was great… but we decided to have a combination of seafood appetizers and a Paella for the four of us. Very disappointed in the rubbery lack of freshness in any dish we ordered. I imagine perhaps it was a Sunday Brunch which is aggressively advertised … that maybe just maybe? The food supply truck didn’t arrive? I will have to try this place one more time… but not for dinner!

Waited for 1 hour and 20 mins for a Paella which is mediocre at best. My partner is from Spain and we both cook good so we know what’s mediocre and professional grade! The fried calamari is good but you can’t really mess that up. Churrasco is good and comes in a decent portion. Sangria was ok. Overall rating, too pricey for the quality of food and the long wait is just too traumatic for us to go back to this place!

Coconut mojitos are delicious! Go for the happy hour! The food is so so! They serve Mexican and Spanish food. Can’t go too wrong with the typical items and you can make out not spending too much money. The service is decent given the fact it hasn’t been at all crowded the 2 times I went. There is a good amount of space if you wanted to bring a larger group.

Not the best not the worst. The Sangria was good and the food tasted good. I have only been once a few months ago. I would go back for the happy hour or lunch specials.

My review is based on food and customer service. I went with family and we ordered different foods. Appetizer: chicken empandas(tasting) Chips and salsa(salsa was alittle spicy for my taste buds) Dinner for 6: Pork chops, white rice and beans Chicken fajitas Meat paella Grilled chicken; one order with fries, another order with yuca fries and another order with salad. Dessert: one Flan. The Flan was ok. Out of 6 people 4 of us really enjoyed our dinner. Customer service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. They had a DJ playing Spanish music. The restaurant is really small and its decorated w/cute paintings.

The service is great. Everyone is always so accommodating. They have hookah! Which isn’t so popular in this part of the Bronx. Open late. Music is good. Crowd is usually pleasant. Great spot to chill with friends. Haven’t had much food here, just the cheese and meat plates and had no complaints there! Def going back!

Came here for the first time last week and I loved the food! I ordered rice, beans, chicken, tostones, and vegetables. There are things that aren’t in the menu like my meal that is very good. The happy hour is great. $ 1 tequila, $ 3 sangria, $ 3 wine, $ 6 mojitos, $ 6 margaritas. You can’t go wrong :).

I ordered the sea food platter. Probably the worst sea food I’ve had, the sea food tasted like they took it straight out of the fridge and dumped sauce on it. On the other hand, the staff is amazing. Sweet and attentive! The overall vibe is chil. Amazing music, nice Décor! They should consider changing the chef.

Horrible in every since of the word. Would not reccomend or eat here again. The service was terrible. Took more than hour for our food. The seafood with linguini was tasteless. The steak i ordered was burnt and crispy.

So finally me and my Beau got to eat at this local neighborhood gem… not that much of a gem, which was very disappointing — especially since they always have a flow of people. So this is a quaint little spot that popped up in the neighborhood. The staff though light on a Tuesday night rightfully so was attentive and pleasant. The drinks decent even though the running count on white sangria is still held by Melba’s thus far. And the mojitoes were reasonable if they muddled the mint, but they were accommodating when I wanted to mix mango and coconut together… I mean really how does one explain choking on mint to his or her friends lol. There was light at the end of the tunnel and a small amount of joy in this whole experience… the appetizers okay partly good. We ordered shrimp, crab meat and Beef empanadas and fried calamari(minus the fried ie. They weren’t fried to perfection). Then there were the main dishes we ordered paella seafood marinara and the babe ordered or attempted lamb chops which they didn’t have so he settled on strip steak with rice and red beans. Now as a lifetime foodie I horn my craft consistently, so when the paella which I hadn’t eaten in a while I was looking forward too… so imagine my surprise when I dug in to an under seasoned watery ricey mess after about a 35 min or so wait because it was«made fresh». And according to my babe the steak was mediocre. So no I doubt I’ll be going back.

Getting better. The shrimp fajita, expecting just a few shrimp on my order, but wait… that was full of shrimps with veggies(i love both) and Mexican tortillas for $ 14.00 plus $ 3.00 sangria(happy hour). They do the best sangria I’ve tried, its an easy cocktail, easy as frying eggs or a french KISS, but not everybody can do it to the point where you just gonna love it. The rest of the food is not bad, except for the patatas bravas,(I tried better), but always keep in mind the rest of the menu. Paella: excellent. Staff: excellent, friendly. Environment: excellent, very clean, cultural. Music: pandora, «música en español» live music on the weekends, karaōke also. Happy hour: good Lunch special: mon-sat, 11am-4pm, very good deal(check picture) $ 7.95 including a glass of sangria. Brunch: around $ 20 p/p(includes unlimited sangria)

I loved this place. Awesome food, great drinks, terrific service, and the best people ever. We had so much fun, we ended up there four out of eights nights in NYC. Loved the paella, tapas and the sangria. One night we had the tempranillo which was amazing. My only regret is we couldn’t pack the place up and bring it home with us.

Recently walked by this location and decided to give it a try after looking in and seeing a few available stools at the bar. Upon walking in, I noticed plenty of additional seating at the dining tables as well. I sat by the bar and asked for a glass of wine. I was served a glass of tempranillo wine from Spain. No complaints there. I asked the bartender if I could watch the Knicks game. He honored my request and I sat there enjoying my glass of wine while watching the game. However, out of nowhere, without asking, a female waiter came over and rudely changed the t.v. to a soccer game that was also being played on the other 2 much larger t. v’s. I won’t lie to you. I was very annoyed, gulped down my glass of wine and went to Montezuma’s on Kingsbridge instead. Thanks to the rude waitress, I probably won’t be back.

Have lunch or have brunch? That was the question. I went with 2 of my friends to have a good brunch on a lovely Sunday afternoon. My surprise was that the brunch it was a little expensive 20 dollars for any plate on the menu, so we order from the lunch menu. My friends and I share couples of dishes: Patatas bravas: just don’t order please, don’t do this too yourself they are very bad. Yuca Frita: I always love some yuca frita when I am in spanish restaurant, always looking forward to have a better taste but this yuca frita did not had anything in special, they were ok, I’ve eaten better in the past Paella: I love Paella, this is one the best disk I ate that day, everything was in the point, was very good. The server did a great job serving paella to my friends and I. Sangria is a typical beverage from Spain. It normally consists of wine, chopped fruit, a sweetener, and a small amount of added brandy, easy to do you cannot mess this one. Great server, too bad that the food is not good.

Hate to give any establishment less than 3 stars, but this place was a huggeeeeee let down. The menu read great, but the food was from from it. We started with a sampler platter with Serrano(awful quality) cheeses and olives. The olives were the best thing on the plate. The complimentary bread they gave us was soooo dry, and crumbly. We tried the croquetas, and tasted like dirt. It was truthfully disgusting. One bite and I had to spit it out. The menu says that they are famous for them.,. Yeah okay. Moving to a more positive side of the meal, and 1 of the 2 reasons i didn’t give this establishment a 1 star: the blood sausage in white white and onions tapa. Job well done. I wanted more! Also the sangria was tasty and free??? You are probably wondering why the question marks? Apparently the waitress who greeted us told us that they were free during happy hour, but when we got the bill it was on there for 3 dollars each, and we had 4. The money is not the issue here, is just the fact that they were suppose to be free. The second waitress who dropped off the check, after the first one went home without notice told us that it was only if we got the lunch combo. Of course we paid for them, but train your staff right… Please. Going back to the food. After we snacked on tapas, the entrée to share for two arrived, a sea food stew. But this thing took about 50 minutes to come out after we ate the tapas. We were so close to asking for the bill, but we had time, and plus we liked the description on the menu. The broth was crappy, and the seafood was tasteless. Why did it take so long for it to come out? Obviously the defrosting took forever… Unless it was that the first waitress forgot to put it in. Who knows? We felt funny after eating it, and guess what happened the same night??? Throwing up! Diarrhea? Damn I had a feeling. The money isnt the problem, but damn we regretted this visit.

I’ve now been to this new restaurant in my Kingsbridge neighborhood three times. It’s quite a nice space, with excellent food and very friendly staff. The food is predominantly from Spain(tapas, paella, and more), with several Mexican items as well(my daughter had excellent flautas). All the tapas I’ve tried were excellent. The paellas looks lovely(they run from $ 19 on up); I’ll try that next time. Sangria is good and very inexpensive(a glass for $ 3, a small carafe for $ 10).
