Really cool old fashioned soda shop. There’s a few booths a couple high tables and some counter seats, but man mot many people can fit in this place at onetime. No wonder there’s always a wait at prime eating times! We sat by the window at a high table and it took a few minutes for a girl to come over but she apologized and we ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger for $ 9.50, and two Rueben sandwiches at $ 8.50 each. All sandwiches come with a handful of potato chips out of a bag. We also got three shakes at $ 4.99 each. The shakes were pretty good, fresh banana and strawberries are loaded. The wife got the cappuccino flavored. I like that they fill the glass and leave the rest in the metal container that can refill the glass again. The food was ok, they forgot the bacon on the bacon cheeseburger but quickly brought some to the table. The corned beef on the Rueben was fresh and the bread was grilled perfect. There are no appetizers to choose from, chips is it. They have chili for the burgers and dogs, but didn’t see on the menu if you could order by the bowl. For the price of the sandwiches, I would expect some fries to be included. They have a gift shop next door and the food side has t-shirts and candy for sale.

Very good fifties style soda place. I will admit; I did not want to eat here. I even avoided this place for a while, but the staff and the food won me over. Brevard, sadly but, more often than not has below par service, and I expected poor treatment in this place, but the service was prompt and the staff was funny and friendly. The shakes and the lemon frozen drink where top notch. Maybe I got lucky this day, but I have to give them kudos.

My husband and I visited Rocky’s yesterday evening. Pleasant sidewalk seating was offered and like many downtown Brevard businesses, Rocky’s provides water for their canine sidewalk patrons. We were immediately greeted by staff. My husband ordered a hamburger and I ordered a hot dog. I thought going with the hotdog would be «safe» because how bad can a hotdog be even on a rotten day, right? I was really skeptical about getting the pickled tomatoes which are served on the side instead of typical pickles. WOW! Absolutely the most delicious hotdog I’ve EVER had! That toasted, buttery, lightly crispy«bun» almost ed melted in my mouth! The pickled tomatoes were just YUM! I was hoping my husband wouldn’t eat his but dang it! He did! We also browsed in the adjoining store. Great clothing and items suited for outdoor lovers as well as natural soaps and grooming products. We ambled around downtown afterwards. Have to admit, we’ve passed through Brevard many times but have never taken the time to stop before. Boy, we’ve been missing out! So many unique stores which showcase AMAZING artisan’s creations. We were curious about an elderly local gentleman who was all dressed up in his finest and strolled around, even waving at passing cars, greeting everyone«God Bless You» and smiling a big smile. He was PRECIOUS! I was sad to leave but when we got in our car, my husband surprised me with a quart of pickled tomatoes he snuck past me when he paid our bill at Rocky’s! Thanks babe! It was an awesome day!

I wish I could write a positive review about this place, but unfortunately no one even bothered to approach us or acknowledge us in the slightest. We came here on a busy Saturday afternoon toward the end of lunch. There was no sign or anyone at the front to tell us whether we should wait for a table or seat ourselves, so eventually we figured we must seat ourselves since it appeared that menus were on the tables. We started off at the counter, sat there for five minutes with no one even talking to us at all, with several of the staff walking right by us. We saw a corner where some people were seated and a clean table there, so we thought we might actually get some service if we moved there. After another 10 minutes of us sitting no one had still bothered to acknowledge us at all(we had now been there almost 20 minutes). At this point we got up and left. The girl sitting by the register just sat there looking at us but said nothing at all as we walked out shaking our heads. I understand that it was a busy day, but no one even bothered to say«we’ll be with you soon» or talk to us in any fashion at all. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but I was pretty frustrated to be ignored entirely. Just disappointed…

What an adorable throwback. Red and white checkers, old-fashioned soda fountains, real malts and thick milkshakes, rock and roll music playing. We had some delicious sundaes and malts here, and I would definitely come back. The actual food looked great from what I could see, but we didn’t get the chance to try it this time. Something to look forward to!

We’ve visited this establishment for years on summer trips to North Carolina. It’s become a favorite for both the kids and adults in my family. A true 50s style diner, they offer tasty burgers and other sandwiches and an excellent assortment of sundaes, shakes, and ice cream. To top it off, there’s a variety of candies, chocolates, and other treats. Service is very good — grab a seat at the bar if you can.

Really fun diner atmosphere, super cute shop… Incredible service, we didn’t want a full meal, so we just got a 2hot dog basket, And they let us mix and match the hot dogs– and easily the best hot dogs we’ve had at a restaurant. The buns were perfect, perfect topping to hot dog ratio– even though mine had a lot of toppings… We shared an ice cream sundae– which was also awesome. Overall super fun place to visit on vacation. Really awesome music playing too!

This establishment has cute nostalgia which draws you in. My husband and I just moved here from Arizona and we have been here twice, and every time the staff don’t acknowledge us standing there. I have been at the counter and the staff just walk by or stand right in front of you and don’t ask if you have been helped. The employees give this cute shop such a bad rep. The food is sub par. Really disappointed :(

This wasn’t our first time here in brevard or at Rocky’s, but we were impressed yet again. The soda shop theme is nice, and the food is great. Some highlights for our group were the black bean burger and the vanilla milkshake.

Atmosphere is the only thing going here. It’s an old diner/pharmacy. No pharmacy though. Just a store with cloths and candy. Food is subpar. The icecream is just plain ol’ Edys that you can get anywhere. It’s an extremely busy. No clue why.

Best hot dog ever! Not your typical hot dog bun. They use a toasted bread bun that holds the dog and the toppings perfectly in place.

As a person that was raised in the small town of Brevard, I can definitely tell you that this is a place that you absolutely have to visit. I love Rocky’s so much. That is the best way to some up everything into a simple sentence. The service is great, the food is absolutely amazing, there is a huge menu, it is a great family restaurant, and is located in a great town. You HAVE to try the hot dogs. There are so many different ways to eat your dog at Rocky’s and they definitely have something for everyone. After you eat, I definitely recommend trying one of their shakes. I always get the chocolate peanut butter milkshake and it never disappoints! There are so many amazing things that I could say about Rocky’s and this review only covers about 1% of those wonderful things. If you haven’t eaten at Rocky’s… GONOW! One of my favorite places in town!

It was like being in my parents teenage tales or in an Archie comic. We stopped here for a strawberry ice cream soda and a mocha milkshake and they were great. Good maple walnut fudge too, but the chocolate pretzels were stale

What a great find in Brevard! We were in the area for a drop off to camp Gwynn Valley and were looking for a place to grab a quick and easy lunch. We ended up liking this place so much we took some friends back with us the next day and eating there again! DD, the host and owner, is delightful and took care of getting us a space at the bar for 5 of us the first day, and then two tables together for 7 of us the next day. All within about 15 min — which is the perfect amount of time to take a tour of all the vintage candies for sale in the back of the restaurant. Both days I had the Hot Turkey sandwich, known as the«It’s Smokin». A great combination of good bread, good turkey, and some awesome apricot chutney. I also had to give one of their famous hot dogs a try. At the recommendation of our server(Adam — who was awesome BTW) I tried a «Hot Diggety Dog» and boy was it worth it. Oh my — what a great dog — highly recommended. The rest of the party had cheeseburgers, pimento cheese, reuben, egg salad — all received high reviews. To finish things off we had a milkshake — which was awesome. All in all, highly recommended for a great lunch in a great spot in downtown Brevard. We’ll be back again and again when we are in the area!

I went in thinking this was going to be a four or five out of ten. I mean, it’s hot dogs. Way wrong. The chili cheese dog was really good. The crunchy toasted bun really sells it. Good place for a quick bite at lunch.

Holy cow!!! Best milk shake I’ve ever had! The shop itself is overwhelmingly cool ! It was like being in the 1950’s. If you go try the peanut butter& chocolate milkshake because it’s the bomb!

Great place! I loved it when I stopped with my americorps team. I had a turkey BLT and it was delightful. The people were great too and it was nice to shop while waiting for my food to come in. It actually even looked a soda shoppe. Great place!
