My partner and I stopped in yesterday for dinner. Nothing really struck my fancy on the regular menu, but the specials sounded good. I inquired if they could accommodate my low carb diet by substituting veggies for the spaghetti that came with the shrimp scampi. They said yes, I could have zucchini. Much to my surprise, a beautiful plate of shrimp scampi came out atop zucchini that had been cut into thin spaghetti like strands. It looked and tasted wonderful! My partner got the pimento cheese burger and said it was very good. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place. We had the fried pickles and buffalo chicken wedge salads. The aioli was great with the pickles and the wedge salads had just enough heat to let you know there was buffalo chicken in it. Great choice for us before heading for sliding rock.

Horrible brunch service. We waited for over thirty minutes for our food, which was decent, but not great. The staff simply didn’t care about the wait. It’s just not worth it.

We sat there for three hours and everything had sausage on it. Not worth the wait and our beer coat $ 8 a glass.

Excellent dining! We are foodies and have eaten at many restaurants across the country. For this small town Jordan’s Café restaurant is excellent! We had the fried pickles to start — a southern tradition and they were so yummy. My husband had the salmon special which was perfection. I had the Mediterranean wrap which was also perfect. Our server was on point and even recommended a wine that was perfect for us. For dessert we had apple crumble Al la mode which was also amazing. I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could and highly recommend eating there. I also want to mention that it is super romantic on one side and the other side is great for bar style drinks with friends. Update: we liked it so much we went back the next day for Sunday Brunch. The food once again was excellent! Their brunch service is a little different as you place your order at the bar, then find your seat, then a server brings your food and you pay at the bar when you leave. It was a little awkward but the food is great and worth it.

This place never disappoints. We try to get to Brevard a couple of times a year, and this is a regular stop. I was a little disappointed that they no longer have the Mediterranean Quesadilla, but everything else is so good that I quickly got over that. My wife had a cheeseburger that was fantastic. HUGE patty that was cooked perfectly(they grind their own beef) and had a good flavor… and they get pretty creative with the toppings. I had an interested salmon wrap with mashed potatoes in the wrap… very heavy, but delicious. Anyway… if you like to eat and drink in a place that has a great, laid-back atmosphere, don’t miss Jordan St.

We happened to be in Brevard for their community Christmas festival. Downtown was bustling but our timing was apparently perfect because we got in a got a table right away. Our server was friendly and informative and friendly. I enjoyed a grilled chicken, Apple, walnut salad. The kids had tat perennial childhood favorite, chicken and fries. The hubby had a heart attack on a plate, I mean, a maple bacon fried chicken sandwich. It was so huge he barely put a dent in it! I would definitely come back next time we’re in town so I could try one of their amazing sounding burgers!

Read review with description of the salmon burger with fried oysters… GONE! Menu change last week. So broken hearted I couldn’t stay. No more free parking either. The Scotch Ale was wonderful, but the heart wants what the heart wants, call for latest menu before you go is all I can recommend.

It’s where the locals eat and drink at night. Gourmet fare in the dining room(reservations preferred) but full menu and delicious bar food is also available in the bar and on the patio during warm weather. Only open for dinner through the week, but the Sunday brunch should not be missed. I’ve had the donut burger(decadent pattie served between a halved donut with dripping blueberry yogurt and a side of sweet potato fries) and the chicken and waffles are not to be missed. Personal favorite on the bar menu is the Volcano Burger. It’s served on a bed of cheese fries and you will remember it long after the last morsel is consumed. If that seems too hot for your gullet, go with the Led Zep Burger(bacon cheese burger with BBQ pork on top), but know you won’t need lunch before or breakfast the next morning. Seriously, plan accordingly. Nightly specials include specific quesada and pizza with contents ranging from hasenpfeffer(rabbit) to ramps and pretty much anything in between, but they will customize it to your taste if you ask politely. Bartender Jake is a kind soul who will cut you off if you appear to need it(the police station is a few doors down, so he’s looking out for you) and the wait staff is highly knowledgeable both about the menu and the attractions of the surrounding area. Ask for Spencer or Jason, they know what’s up. Owner/chef Mike will make sure your food is prepared to your specifications and his wife Sue will ensure your dining experience it to your liking. Arrive early if you want free parking in the adjacent lot(it fills up fast). Cannot say enough about this terrific place for your palate. Try it for yourself; you won’t be disappointed.

What a great little gem in downtown Brevard. Their burgers are some of the best I’ve had. Everything is fresh, their batter and fried foods are delicious, and the atmosphere on the patio is just dirty enough to forget you are in a tourist town. The service is solid, Jason was great even when they were completely slammed last weekend, and Evan took great care of us during a slower shift this evening. The biggest problem with the place is that it’s almost impossible to decide what to get, all of it looks so good.

Sunday brunch is amazing. According to our server, the menu changes every weekend. Everything is custom and creative. I enjoyed a steak tenderloin and fried egg on a puff pastry with shrimp hollandaise sauce. My wife had blueberry pancakes with sausage, plus an amazingly fresh mimosa. Laid back atmosphere. Attentive staff. Loved everything about this place. A new favorite. We will be back!

My date and I were here for New Years Eve from WV. I looked to Unilocal for reviews and chose Jordan St. For our dinner. I had the lamb chops and my date had the Filet. Our dinner took a bit but was well worth the wait! It was a fabulous dinner with excellent flavors, cooked to perfection! The staff were excellent as well! Thank you for a lovely meal!

My boyfriend and I stopped in Brevard on our way back from the Looking Glass Falls. We walked around the cute downtown for a bit and decided on Jordan Café for lunch and I’m so glad that we did. It was a Sunday and they were serving brunch. BESTBRUNCHEVER! I got the biscuits and chicken gravy and my boyfriend got the chicken and waffle which the waffle was infused with bacon and cheddar… I think I ate more of his than my dish. Definitely going back for brunch next time I’m in the Brevard area.

Excellent food, excellent service. It was recommended by one of the locals, and it was the best recommendation! The eggs benedictine with the gouda sauce were delicious but the doughnut burger(four doughnuts, hamburger, bacon and blue cheese cranberry sauce) was out of this world! Highly recommended

They have about 8 types of burgers. The bf got one of them and it had a thick juicy patty, not overcooked. A bite of his burger made me regret the trout special I ordered which came with some type of rice pilaf salad with cherries. My dish wasn’t bad, but it was too sweet and soupy for my taste and paled in comparison to the burger. Go for one of the burgers, with sweet potato fries!

Started off dinner with the crab-cake appetizer. The two cakes were small, but sufficient for four people to each have a taste. The flavor was very good, but there was a little more breading than I like. I give the crab-cakes 3 stars. It got better from there. We tried to salads. The spinach salad with bacon(real bacon, not bacon bits) and a wonderful balsamic reduction with brown sugar. I love fresh spinach, but even if you don’t you’ll still enjoy this salad. The other was a mixed green salad with balsamic dressing – fresh, flavorful, and ample. We had four entrees. All were very good or excellent. First off was the veal served with polenta. The veal was good, but I don’t usually eat it so I can’t compare it with other veal. The polenta was flavorful, but more like cornbread than what I consider traditional polenta. Just the same it was delicious. The best meal at the table was the chicken in an apple cider reduction with cranberries and walnuts. It was delicious. Served on the side were the best mashed potatoes ever – bar none. A close runner up was the quail – phenomenal! I’m accustomed to eating game(quail, dove, and duck) that was killed and prepared within hours. The quail at Jordan Street Café was as good as any I’ve had. Unfortunately, it was accompanied by a less than the best buckwheat. Suggestion: substitute the mashed potatoes. The final entrée was the lightly breaded trout. It was fresh; should be since there is a fish hatchery within a short driving distance. I recommend it. The trout was served along side a risotto that got better with each bite. All of tonight’s dinners were served with shredded zucchini. Most restaurants either cook all of the flavor out of vegetables, or cover it up with butter or oil. JSC lightly, but thoroughly cooked the zucchini. I’ll definitely ask for it again. A note on the portions. There was ample of everything to go around. Our group of four could have split three entrees. We were full enough to skip dessert, and had plenty to take home. When I return to JSC I’ll spend time in the bar. Although there wasn’t much going on tonight(a Thursday) it has a promising look. Three beers on tap, two of them stout(one was Guinness), and an IPA. Lastly, the service was excellent. Of course, there were only two other tables, but we’ll give the server the benefit of the doubt. He was friendly without being familiar, quick, and had a sense of what our table needed.
