Meh, came in around 3:00 on a Saturday. Server was rushing us to order and she seemed annoyed… or anxious to get out of there. Menu is pretty limited. Within a minute of us getting our food she brought our check and said she had to cash us out. Then she hovered, waited for payment and then wanted me to sign the credit card receipt when I was mid-bite of my sandwich. And then she bolted, never to be seen again, or any other server for that matter. Flagged another server to ask for a box. She looked at me and then walked the other way. Sandwiches were fine. 3 stars for food but knocking it down for service.

Great Cuban sandwich. Friendly atmosphere. Soups are excellent also.

We went on a Sunday morning and there was a good steady crowd. It is not a large place, but comfortable. You can select your pastries(many kinds) from the display and leave, or sit down at one of the tables. They also have a nice menu selection. We had the breakfast buffet and it was wonderful. The number of items available was surprising and varied, all were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a go to place while in Boerne.

Stopped by on my way to work. Had some of their baked goods but not much else. The selection was good. The place itself is small and cozy and seems to get plenty busy. Good place to stop in for a sweet bite.

They always have amazing food and baked goods. It’s a very popular place so you may have to wait a bit if you want a seat but it’s totally worth it.

My first visit of many more to come. Been here twice now. Both times I had their chipotle grilled cheese sandwich with garlicky tomato soup and for dessert, I had their ginger snap cookie — all of it was fantastic. Maybe next time I will try something different… maybe. Love this place — try it you will too.

Such a quaint breakfast place full of locals and visitors. They waitstaff was nice enough to let me hang out in here all morning while I worked. The food and service is great. Bakery has tons of great items to choose from, the breakfast buffet is easy and yummy. I definitely recommend this as a casual breakfast/brunch spot.

Stopped here for brunch on our way to Fredericksburg. Very good breakfast buffet! Yummy fluffy eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, pancakes, french toast — everything you might want for breakfast! Small dining area so there was somewhat of a wait when we first arrived, but it was worth it. Mav and I would recommend this place!

Always delicious! The breakfast buffet is more than you would imagine. You must try the scrambled eggs. Nothing fancy about them other than they are delicious and perhaps the best in town.

You should try the choclate cupcakes, they are DELICIOUS. Not too mention, the best & kindest waitstaff I have seen by far. Good Job guys! Keep up the good work!

The service was great but the Reuben I had was sub par. Please don’t put me on a diet. I can decide for my self the portion I need to consume. So the portions are reduced but not the price! Where’s the corn beef in this sandwich?

The food is great– I haven’t tried the breakfast yet, so just my take on the lunch… The food is really good. The service… eh, it’s been subpar recently. I have had some good service there before but lately it’s been a little eh. Maybe the servers are overworked and perhaps one or two of them have too many tables at one time– but lately it’s been … Just… Eh. I do have an issue though– & that is with this company’s limbo period between lunch and breakfast. We went in recently for an early lunch(11:00am) & were told by the front counter that it was still«breakfast time» … Okay cool– we aren’t picky people, we will eat breakfast at that time, sure. So we are told to take a seat and wait for a server. Okay. This poor girl comes up and asks if we want lunch or breakfast– we say«whatever you’re serving is good» … She looked uncomfortable & then told us that they stop serving breakfast at 11& don’t serve lunch until 1130… So we said«you…don’t have food?» & she said no, and suggested ordering some pastries because they had no food. We aren’t picky when it comes to substance– but pastries for lunch? … No thanks. We asked again«you really have no food.?» She looked super uncomfortable at this point as she said another«no…no food» —it’s not her fault that there’s a weird limbo policy of no food for half an hour. Bad timing on our part I guess– anyway, we left and found an early lunch elsewhere. So the 3 stars are really for the food quality(as long as you don’t go during limbo) & sometimes good service. Unfortunately, I felt it necessary to dock one for the weird 11am-no-food-issue & the subpar service I’ve gotten lately. Kind of a bummer about the time. I know it’s 30 minutes but with the traffic and parking nightmare on Main St, it’s nice to get what you’re expecting when you brave all of those factors to find some food. Lots of places switch off in a way that allows lunches to be ready while breakfast time is ending. It was the most mind boggling thing to me. Maybe everyone in Boerne is used to this– maybe as a native San Antonian, I’m the one who sounds outrageous wanting some kind of food from Bear Moon at 11am. Who knows? Also would like to mention– the coffee is pretty good as well.

Of course found this recommendation on Unilocal as the boyfriend and I are visiting Boerne for a wedding. Amazingly sweet staff, delicious food and nice vibe. We both gorged on the buffet. Biscuits and gravy were stupendous but really everything was great.

We live nearby so were looking for a brunch place in Boerne and decided to stop here. The line to get in was long and the inside seating is very limited, so we thought the wait would be much longer than it was. We only ended up waiting like 10 minutes. We didn’t know they had a breakfast buffet, so it was a nice surprise. The wait was well worth it because the breakfast food has a home cooked taste and is delicious! The ladies cooking in the back keep bringing out Fresh food to replace what is quickly eaten at the buffet. They had a really decent assortment considering the restaurant was small. I had everything from the biscuits and gravy(my favorite) to the pigs in a blanket & hash browns. Seriously good food! Only thing I can say bad about it is the wait, however that is just a temporary problem. Would definitely consider making this our Sunday breakfast spot.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday. We didn’t have a long wait at about 10 am but when we left about 11 the line was really long. We got the breakfast buffet which is $ 13.60 per person. They had unlimited mimosas for $ 12.00 that we passed on. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. Eggs had two versions, one regular scrambled and one with tomatoes and basil. The hash browns were mixed with some vegetables but there was a normal version too. Biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, toast, muffins, tacos, bacon, two kinds of sausage, corn grits. Lots of options and will probably return.

Segafredo coffee signs in the window. Smell of fresh baked morsels wafting into the street. Quant old building. That in itself would allow for mediocre food and still make it a nice place. There is no mediocrity in the cuisine. First visit — Sunday brunch. WOW. This is a new destination spot for me now. Pancakes made with some of the homemade muffins. French toast out of thick bakery bread. Scrambled eggs — nothing can be special about those things, right? Wrong. A mix of spices and veggies and the eggs come alive. Quality meat. Fruit at the end — I passed on that. Biscuits and gravy — one of the best biscuits I’ve had. Waitstaff are great. Colorful. Attentive. Melanie was awesome. Even amongst all the hustle there was time to check in with me as I stuffed my boca. The real reason that I am typing up this long review is I am waiting to let the first plate settle so I can go back for more. Bye.

Sitting outside this quaint little eatery, I am currently struck by the high quality pastry I am devouring. So much so that I had to stop and give it five stars. Also, this ice latte is reeeeeeally tasty. Definitely coming back here. Maybe later.
