We visit every year and the Pink Elephant has the best of everything. You can’t miss.

Fantastic, but a bit pricey for lunch! $ 25 fish tacos! We boated here on a hot hot Sunday, I appreciated the AC, place was crowded and we sat at the bar. Bar waitress was very nice! We had oysters, from Massachusetts, excellent. The pâté appetizer, out of this world, and the truffle fries, ridiculously good! Kim says the best Fries she ever had in her life!

The pink elephant is pretty good. I had the lamb burger and it was pretty scrumptious. I would say get the lamb burger and you’ve got yourself a Meal boi

The Pink Elephant is probably going to be the best place on the island for dining, but I just can’t give them that 5th star. You may be asking why not, but I’m going to have to ask you to stop being so lazy and read my review. I ordered one of their smoked maple old fashioneds to start off with, and it was pretty darn tasty, I would recommend it to the bourbon lovers out there. For appetizers, I ordered oysters and pork rinds. I know I’m paying island prices, but $ 21 for six tiny oysters is pushing it. They were seriously small, and didn’t wow me in any way. The pork rinds were actually a steal at $ 6, large and delicious, I was pleasantly surprised. For my main course, I went with their French dip. It was ok, but I’ve had plenty that were better in my lifetime. For dessert I opted for a cocktail that had some sort of pear vodka in it, it was refreshing. So, I enjoyed some things quite a bit, others not so much, and the service was average, while the prices were high. That is why I cannot give them five stars. Reading this entire review wasn’t so bad, now was it?

This is a great restaurant with a lovely ambience and vibe. The menu is interesting and most of the dishes we have eaten are very tasty… However, for vegetarians the menu is pretty limited… Good place though and definitely recommend…

Overall a good experience. The pomegranate refresher martini and the blueberry mojito were both fresh and fantastic. I ordered the caprese salad as a meal and, based on the price, I thought it would be a sufficient entrée but it was incredibly small(my mistake for not asking). However, it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the french onion soup and the turkey devonshire. He was super satisfied with his meal, both items were filling and delicious. The service was superb and our waiter was very helpful with my dietary needs(gluten-free). I also recommend sitting outside as the surroundings are beautiful! Would return/recommend.

I had one of the most enjoyable meals of my life here. The service was incredible, the waiters were helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. Seriously. Best. Scallops. I’ve. Ever. Had! The inside of the restaurant itself wasn’t my favorite-despite it being in beautiful, tropical-feeling Florida, the interior of the lower level felt similar to that of an English bar. A large tv was playing in the corner, which was distracting, and the lighting was dim. It was nice, but a more Flordian feeling inside to match the palm trees, pastels, and lights outside would seemingly make more sense… We showed up without reservations and were seated immediately inside. I would have preferred to sit outside, but with our lack of planning, it was going to be a 45 minute wait. We happily accepted the table inside, and within minutes, had appetizers and cocktails. The spicy Margarita was amazing, and we indulged in truffle fries(life changing) and asian jumbo shrimp(also life changing). As said, the scallops were divine. They were resting in a delicious sauce and accompanied by fried grits, which were also incredible. All in all, had we been able to secure a table outside, this would be been the best meal of my life. However, despite being tucked away in the dark lower level, the amazing service and delicious food made this meal one I won’t forget!

The Pink has been re-formatted to a «casual» restaurant. The service is still superb and it’s a nice place for lunch on a warm sunny day. However the special dinners upstairs are gone and only the upscale pricing remains. Whatever you order will be well prepared, well served and I un-memorable…the same menu upstairs and down. It’s a nice restaurant but no longer the best place in town.

Brisket was outstanding. Intense, deep flavor and a bargain at $ 16. Burger was solid as well. Also, with a name like the pink elephant, they had to have delirium on tap which was a huge positive. Would have been 5 stars but the waiter was uninterested. Cool place — would come back. They don’t take reservations but the wait was only 20 minutes on Friday, January 1st.

The only reason I’ve given a 5 is because it’s deserved. Hopefully this is a one off night with a table of entitled, huge mouth people that have no issues screaming across the restaurant at each other, shouting at their kids, big fat mouths talking to each other like they are the only ones here. I’ve experienced rude, but this is RUDE!!! It’s a cozy adorable little place with wonderful food and staff. I’ll be back, but will peek I before entering just to make sure these big fat mouths aren’t here again. Lol.

The Pink Elephant is by far my favorite place on boca grande! The drinks are great and the food is event better! I’ve never had a bad meal here. I recommend trying the French onion soup and the BLT flat bread, both delicious!

Hands down they take care of you. if you don’t ask about something, you won’t get it. No seared ahi tuna on the menu but the chef went out of his way to make it for us.

Fabulous dinner! Family of 4, found every item from the bread, house salad, kids chicken fingers, Pink burger, roasted chicken and the special of veal schnitzel to be top notch. I could go on and on… Best food on our vacation! Make sure to save room for dessert, we shared the snickers and the warm meghan chip cookie both crazy good. The service was excellent, very attentive and pleasant. Great atmosphere, sit inside or out. We arrived at 5 to make sure we got right in. If it wasn’t our last night in town we would be going back tomorrow. :-)

Although we’re only in Boca Grande 1x a year, we always reserve a night for the Pink Elephant. If looking for a night to dress up a bit, head upstairs, but we tend to prefer the downstairs casual, intimate atmosphere. There’s really not a bad place to eat in town — especially for grouper — but I still think the grouper is the largest and most perfectly grilled here. For the seafood lovers like myself, go with shrimp cocktail, snapper, and grouper. For the veggie lovers, the French onion soup is a must; the meat lovers, the filet is great. The wine is $ 1 – 2 more than some of the other spots, but the selection varies a bit which is nice.

I’ve been going to «The pink» for more years than I can count. It has a fun, lively bar scene and the patio is a wonderful place to eat outside. During peak season(Christmas and Spring break) go early(before 6PM) if you want to eat downstairs or you might have to wait. Otherwise, book a table upstairs. The full menu is available both upstairs, and downstairs. It all depends if you want a more casual, dinning atmosphere(downstairs), or more formal(upstairs). The food is always delicious and consistent. Your best bet is to order the local fish, although their burger and fries are pretty killer! They offer a great selection of wines by the glass that are moderately priced and the bartenders are some of the best you’ll find at mixing cocktails, especially Planters Punch which are an island favorite.

I really enjoyed my night at Pink Elephant. I didnt mind being surrounding by locals and country club types. The restaurant was packed because they had to clear the patio because of rain. You think they would get a retractable awning or something like that. The food was very good. I had fish tacos and my wife got the tuna tar tar. The tuna was served with house made pork rinds. We were turned off at first until we tasted!!! So good! I couldnt believe my wife liked it so much. Of course, i ordered the Delerium Tremens.

Recently went paddle boarding in Boca Grande and on the way to the beach we stopped at this little beach town. Most of the restaurants in the town were closed.(This town truly lives on island time). Anyways we decided to stop into the Pink Elephant since we were starving. First of all I love the name it is different and attracts your attention. Second the food and drinks are great. The service was good even though we were pretty much the only ones there. The menu is not that extensive, I’m not sure if this is because it was lunch time or what. So I would definitely want to check it out at night to see if they offer a different selection of food choices. This is really cute little gem. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying there or just passing through. Beware the food is really really pricey. For example I had the black angus cheeseburger and it was 15.00 but it is worth it. The drinks are also pricey and strong but hey for being strong you get your money’s worth.
