Boca Grande Carts

We rented a cart from this establishment for a week in March. We were charged $ 300 and the cart we received was awful. It must have been 20 years old, had a back seat footboard that was literally hanging off and a charger riddled with duct tape that literally didn’t charge.
One night, on our way out to dinner at the Pink (in the dark), the cart died on us though it had been charged overnight and used lightly during the day. When we took it in the next day, we were told that it was our fault (or, apparently, the fault of the outlet of our rental home which was, in fact, working … we triple-​checked). The cart sat in their yard all day «charging» and, at the end of the day, it still hadn’t fully charged… but we were sent home with the same cart regardless. Our saving grace was a friend with another charger … we used that one to charge the cart fully in a matter of a few hours.
In short, we will NEVER use this company again for our cart rentals on the island. The ones at the Pink Pony were much newer and the staff much more friendly; we’ll be booking there next year for sure.
