Best pizza place!!! We ate with our son who’s 14 months and not only did he love it, we did too. The pizza was amazing and the service was even better.

Best Italian dressing ever. Not tart and very light tasting. Excellent service well informed about food choices, sizes, and prices. The pizza had to be the best tasting pizza I’ve ever had. Very light, crispy, all ingredients were fresh. Everyone was extremely happy with everything they got. The music and atmosphere was awesome. Made me want to go buy records again. :)

We saw that they moved to a bigger place(from last year’s visit) so we decided to try it. I had a chicken pesto panini and the kids had the Murray’s meateater. My sandwich was very delicious and the pesto was made correctly. I tried one piece of the pizza and it was really good and the crust was thin and crispy. I think the only thing the pizza lacked was some good Italian sausage. For California this was also reasonably priced. We would go back.

Pizza was great: dough was fresh, pizza sauce was prefect, toppings were fresh. Service was friendly and extremely helpful. Plus, you get 10% off ice cream next door! Definitely worth the stop on Pine Knot. Parking in back.

Located inside the Village in Big Bear this restaurant has expanded from its small little corridor to a much larger restaurant with plenty of seats and very lively crowds. With that being said I decided to order a to-go pizza and even then that took quite some time. It was 45 minutes to be precise which was still faster than waiting for a seat which was about an hour plus. To be fair all places at the Village require that long of a wait(well the good places anyways). So I got there, parked, and proceeded to place an order half pepperoni and half cheese to-go. I then proceeded to walk around and explore the various shops once again before my 45 minutes were up. Once I got my pie I took it back to the cabin and went ham on it. The pepperoni pizza was one the best I’ve ever had. Fresh tasty sauce, excellent pizza dough and overall great texture and flavor. I should have just ordered a full pepperoni pizza. The cheese half was pretty good too but it had too much cheese in my opinion. The overbearing cheese was a bit much but it tastes amazing still and that is attributed to their sauce and dough. Overall this is one of the most popular places in the area. The lines were so long and packed. When I first got there they weren’t open yet so I walked around first not realizing all those people standing outside were waiting to get in line to go to the restaurant. Yes it is that popular. Do yourself a favor and get in line before hand. Then order some bomb tasting pizza and enjoy. Gains at your own risk though.

My family and I visited this place during one of our camping trips at Serrano; salad and pizza were both excellent! We went on off season so there was no wait however I can see how the wait can be long during busy season; the restaurant has nice décor and ambience but it’s size is small to medium at most. Beer was tasty too! Service was good but not great, that’s why I would say 4 stars.

Easily one of the tastiest little places in Big Bear. We were greeted by a friendly staff and were able to keep our pups with us on the patio. Our server brought over a bowl with some water in it for them and grabbed us a few menus. We ordered a small antipasto salad that was easily sharable between us and a small pizza that portioned out to three slices a piece. The salad was loaded with meats and cheese along with a rich Italian dressing that was peppery and had a little kick to it without being to spicy. The pizza had a heap of toppings on it and they didn’t skimp on the cheese either. A perfect golden brown crust and the slices disappeared quickly! The best part was being able to use the receipt for 10% off the North Pole candy shop next door!

We love Saucy Mama’s pizzas and salads! It is a great casual place to meet friends for lunch and dinner and hang out in the village(you can even bring your pet and eat in the patio area.) They are a good option for take out on a cold night too.

Probably the only sit down pizza joint in Big Bear, but it was pretty damn good! Cold beer with good pizza and the Dodgers game on TV. What more can you ask for after a long day on the slopes? Seating is limited indoor but there’s also seating outdoors with heaters. Right next to the sweet shop is a plus. Definitely stop by if your looking for a place to eat while in the village.

We had a small antipasto salad and small pizza(with some veggies on it). Everything was good. There was a little TOO much cheese on the pizza, but it tasted great. The interior of the place is quite small and cramped — we didn’t feel very comfortable in there. One side note — we asked for no onions on the salad, and the waitress even confirmed«ok, no onion on salad», but the salad came out with onions. It wasn’t the kitchen’s fault because there was no «no onion» note on the order.

I always love coming here to eat! Their wings and pizza are amazing! As well as their beer. You can’t really go wrong. They are fairly priced too. For wings, a beer, Coke, and medium pizza with 3 toppings the bill only came out to $ 30 and some change. That fed my fiancé and I all while leaving us with left overs. Thank you for being so organized on such a busy weekend such as Valentine’s Day weekend! We only waited 3 mins to get sat and the service was still on point!

Why the 4 stars? My friends and I were craving pizza, as being in the snow can make you do, and saw that Saucy Mama’s had the highest rating. If you do come here then I suggest take-out because the inside is tiny! We chose to sit outside instead of waiting 40 minutes and it was actually nice. They had plenty of heat lamps turned up on high so that we didn’t get too cold. Service was friendly and attentive. The best part about our meal were the appetizers. The Mozzarella Sticks were crispy on the outside and melty on the inside just as you want them to be. The Garlic Bread was warm, thick and tasted plentifully of garlic. But the entrees fell short. We went with a medium sausage and artichoke heart pizza. There was PLENTY of cheese but hardly any sausage and just a bit more artichoke hearts. But the cheese didn’t have that nice browning on the top that comes from it bubbling up. The crust was very good and was my favorite part about the pizza but the sauce was too sweet for me. One of us ordered the Grandma’s Signature Meat Spaghetti which she enjoyed but I noticed that there was a lot of pasta water in the bottom of the bowl. I can’t say that this is deserving of the highest pizza rating in town, but it was made a lot better by our ice cold pitcher of Lagunitas IPA.

We loved this place. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the vibe was super cool. It was laid back and noisy, and it made an awesome spot for lunch. We spent a good part of our meal checking out the wall of classic rock record covers, prompting some in-depth discussions about music and such. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were so crispy and tasty on the outside, and so cheesy and soft on the inside. I got a really good chicken sandwich, and my husband got the manicotti/lasagna hybrid. Neither of us had any complaints. I totally recommend this place.

A place that serves pizza, local beer, plays Stones, Bowie, Doors, Queen, Beatles… can it get any better? Oh, you betcha. The service. Exceedingly good. I called in to ask about the menu and asked in passing if they’re busy at the moment, that I would be there in a few mins with a group of 4 other people, one in the high chair — only to come and find that the guy put. «Reserved» sign on a table that was waiting for us. Very attentive staff, very friendly and their food was great. They did mess up my «no cheese» calzone and — put a thin layer of mozzarella on top — but whatever, I worked around it and it was still great. Nice heated outside area looks it would be comfy even during a snow storm. Good stuff.

Holy Saucy Mamas! So I went to Big Bear last week and the last thing I expected was a good pizza. Did this place prove me wrong?! Yes indeedy. Saucy Mama’s pizza is not some generic remake of pizza. It’s the real thing. We had the chicken pesto pizza. Yes to all of that right? It tasted exactly like it sounds, the bread was soft and doughy. Just chewy enough. The ingredients were fresh. I also ordered a cheese tortellini… thank god I’m not reviewing just that because I kept feeding it to my dog under the table. He loved it! Anyway the pizza… it’s safe to say you will definitely enjoy it. The garlic bread was yummy too. And the pitcher of Hefe beer kept us numb to the cold;) The atmosphere of the place is pretty awesome too I won’t spoil it for you. But believe me your eyes will be pretty entertained. The waiters were great! They took the time to light all the heating lamps just for us. We needed them all. We were outside during the first snow. Our little pooch was freezing in his new smoking coat. Everything was cool out there until two little terrors came and barked at every breathing thing. Keep that in mind while eating outside in big bear anywhere. Saucy Mama’s is good good good.
