We recently went here on a Sunday afternoon after reading reviews on Unilocal which said the food was great. We should have believed other reviewers such as Bruce which told of rude and unhelpful staff. We thought that because there was only one car in the parking lot we might receive good service. We were wrong. We explained to the young lady behind the counter that some in our party of 14 would like sandwiches so we would like a menu. She said«everything is on the web site». No, it is not because we had looked at the menu on the Unilocal listing and it only had Pizza and salads listed. We advised her of that but she insisted everything is on the web site and then reluctantly handed one of us a menu. Was that so hard? What if you didn’t have access to the internet? After handing out the menu she then told us that it would be over an hour before we would be able to receive an order if we made one. That convinced us to go somewhere else.

Great fast service and delicious pizza. We loved the thin crispy crust. We can’t go up to Big Bear without having our No Name Pizza. As a result they remember us now. Lol.

The lady taking orders behind the counter told me rudely that I would have to wait 45 minutes for a pizza. She was one of the rudest people I have met working at a restaurant — that is, until I met the owner. When I told the owner, Steve, later, that the pizza crust did not taste as good as the day before(it tasted like flavorless cardboard), he ignored me and went back to reading a book on his computer. He and his wife Michelle were far more interested in what was happening on their computers than in the concerns of their customers. Michelle was sick and was coughing all over the restaurant. I didn’t want to cause a scene for Steve, so I called the restaurant later, and asked him what had changed in the crust, and he hung up on me. There are many nicer, friendlier, and tastier places to eat in Big Bear. The owners don’t seem to want people’s business, so don’t give it to them.

We are Big Bear locals and have never encountered such rudeness. We will never come here again. The heavy set girl at the register made us wait… and wait for two bottles of beer and two glasses of water. When I politely asked her if we could get our drinks as we had eaten half our pizza and it’s a little hard to eat without beverages, she barked in front of the people in line and, motioned to them, saying she was busy with customers. Well, we were paying customers, too. She flat refused three times to get our drinks when she easily could have told the others in line that it would just be a minute. There was no room in their ovens for any more. It’s called multi tasking. I am a patient person and spoke to her with respect and she was just disgusting and rude. When I told Michelle the owner, she was equally rude, got so angry she was shaking, and said she was taking the side of her employee. Worst customer service ever and wait is typically one hour. Don’t eat here!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I can’t say if the pizza was good(although it didn’t look very clean and the cook was working slower than a snail). Thanks to the lady who«greeted» and discouraged us from eating there. As soon as we walked in a very rude manner and tone said the wait will be over and hour. No hello no it will be a while but sit down(being there was plenty of seating). Nada! So we got the point they didn’t want any more customers I guess. So if yu want to be treated kindly go to the the Broadway café across the street! Great burgers and nice people:) 2 thumbs down for the no name rude pizza place.

This is far the worst pizza I have ever had. It was sooooo greasy and just blah. Gave my husband and me a stomachs ache. It looks kinda unkept inside and overall I would not ever go back. We had to use so many napkins to clean our hands. No wonder they leave the napkin dispenser on the table. The waitress was not friendly at all. Skip this place.

We got there by accident because we were starving after our drive from Pomona and just happened to stop there. We had already ordered our pizzas by the time we checked this place’s horrible Unilocal rating. But to be honest we all like the food a lot. Staff were friendly, the place was clean. I give it a five star.

So happy to have found this place off the main road, great local place for amazing pizza & sandwiches etc. Even pizza to take & bake! Perfect pizza parlor meets mtn design The owner, Michelle, is wonderful, so helpful & friendly, fantastic menu, definitely coming back! Lovely outdoor seating under the stars too. Craft beer on tap.

Today was my first and last time ordering from no name pizza. The pizza was mediocre. Honestly, you’re better off with a Costco Take and bake pizza. Way overpriced, totally not worth the product. Not to mention the chubby little blonde cashier is incredibly rude. Sassy from the beginning and too incompetent to get an order correct. Avoid this place if you’re looking for a quality product and good service!

Another Big Bear disappointment. The staff was friendly but the food is just horrible! Whoever says this is the best pizza they have ever had has either never had good pizza or just has the worst taste ever. It’s a Saturday and the first two things ordered they did not have. Really? Ordered a salad which was basic but the best thing we had ordered. Not coming back here again!

Perfect place to go when you want a pizza that isn’t your corporate ingredient, perfectly measured mainstream pizza. Unlike a lot of pizza places now, I can sit down and have a beer while I wait for my food. The people there are nice, and it has a nice«homey» feel to it.

Would be five stars but they don’t deliver! Awesome pizza. I always order take out so can’t say much for dining in… kinda odd décor featuring places off the mountain… lol…but great people… really nice… and they serve cold beer.

Heard ads on radio. Thought I would try. Probably won’t go back. Long wait, rude, pizza wasn’t all that. Too bad

Great pizza, super friendly owners! Their dough is vegan friendly so if you leave the cheese out, you get a fresh pizza with delicious veggies at a reasonable price. I would definitely give 5 stars if they would add a vegan pizza to their menu. In case the owners read this, here is a greatly melting vegan cheese option: — but there are many others out there, e.g. from Field Roast and Follow Your Heart and and and. I will definitely come back and how knows, maybe there will be a couple of vegan pizzas on the menu in the future! All the ingredients are already there — let’s be creative :)

I’m not sure how this place has four stars. The crust was like a saltine cracker, not a pizza crust. Everything looked like it had been frozen and taken out to bake when we ordered it. That being said, we spent almost $ 30 on a couple of pizzas that we could have bought at the grocery store for about half the price. This is the very first time a Unilocal rating has completely let me down. Dinner was very sad last night.

I wish I could say I caught No Name on a really, really off night but nothing can make up for some of the blandest, driest pizza I’ve ever had. Between the hour wait for take-out(granted, it was a Saturday night during ski season), the carboard-like/flavorless crust, and the sparse toppings, we would’ve been better off buying frozen pizza or getting something from a chain. If you want to support a local pizza joint try Maggio’s instead.

My family loved this pizza. We’ve had take n bake pizza before from other places and not nearly as good as this joint! The pizza came out perfectly cooked & super crispy. It was greasy but not too much where you would be turned off but the good kind of grease, I call them flavor juices. We will def be back the next time we come to big bear!

Pizza is pretty good! A bit of a hole in the wall, but hey, it’s a pizza joint! WAY better than any of the corporate pizza places in a Big Bear. We got a ½ and ½ pizza– half pepperoni/garlic, half sausage/onion/mushroom. It was great, real mozzarella cheese(the kind that strings out on you as you take a bite). Crispy crust too. I get the sense that they don’t handle high volume well; ours came to us after about 25 minutes(we were the only ones there) but everyone else who came in they told they were about a 45 min — 1 hour wait. They did get a bunch of take out orders called in right after we ordered, but just be aware(or call ahead!) We came in on a Monday after a busy weekend, so that’s a consideration. Heard the owner say they made 94 pizzas Saturday night, which is big for them(one of their largest nights ever!) pretty good for a two-man team. One of the things that I think is cool is that they do a «take and bake» option, though I think their pizza ovens bake better than a standard home oven, but it’s an option. Nice people, good selection of bottled beer and a few on tap. Support small local business! Also they have gluten free pizza dough in a 12″ size.

5 stars means I love it. It’s great. Great spot. A favorite. Become a tradition. Every time I go to Big Bear, I get the Everything Pizza, and maybe a beer… and mayybe a salad. I ace them bake it for me, and usually take it home. It’s a nice place to sit and watch tv or look at magazines while you wait, or you can go to the lake or to Stater Bros. while they bake it. They recently added The Other Room«One Story» next door as part of No Name Pizza, and it has live music, popcorn, a wine, beer, and coffee bar, nice lamp, candles, and low stage lighting. Right east of Division. Recommended!
