My daughter was walking around the village yesterday. We saw people were making candles so my daughter want to make one too. Price was very reasonable and she really enjoyed making it. While waiting for the candle to dry I looked around the store and saw a eczema lotion bar. My 3 kids have severe eczema problem since they were born. I am always searching for non-​drug cream for their skin. My 7 years old daughter been having terrible dry neck with bad eczema for past 4 weeks. Nothing works! Everyday I would put aquaphor on her. It help a little but not much. Well, I decided to buy it and try it out. I put it on her for the whole day and see what happen. Omg! It works! I was so amazed by it that I had to head back to buy more before leaving tomorrow. I purchased everything that was on the shelf. I had to show the owner my daughter’s neck and thank her for it. Crystal (owner) was very friendly and sweet. It was so busy that she still took her time to help me and introduce me to other products. I bought so much stuff from her and even got some products for my husband. All her products smell so good. I love this place! I wish she would have her store in San Gabriel Valley. Thank you Crystal for everything! I’ll be contacting you in the future once I run out.

Checked this place out and the owner was so sweet. She stayed passed closing time so we can make candles. It was fun experience and the candles were reasonably priced. I was able make a couple and will be gifting them. Also, i picked up some bar soaps that are suppose to be super moisturizing and good for the skin. Can’t wait to use them, there are so many scents to choose from for both the candles and bar soaps. She also has other skin care items and cute accessories for purchase…

You HAVE to come visit this place if you ever visit Big Bear. I would come back JUST to visit this store, the owner, and to make some more candles. The candles were so fun to make, good prices, and smelt so amazing!!! You pick your own scents, colors, and shape/​size. The owner and her son are so so nice and genuine. An amazing experience walking in and getting to know them and the store. :)

We spend a lot of time in Big Bear but somehow have always missed this shop on our way to get fudge. I am so glad we stopped in today. The owner and her daughter were very sweet. We had fun making candles.
My daughter is severely autistic and makes odd noises, and sometimes people stare or treat her differently. The owner was very kind to her, talking to her, and saying good bye to her by name. We will definitely be returning!

Me and my girlfriend just had the best experience ever with Chrystel. She was so nice and genuine and helped up with any questions we had while we were making our candles. We will definitely be back in the future anytime we are in town Thank you So much Chrystel!!!

If I could I would give 1000 stars! Not only is it so fun making candles and it’s very affordable, the owner Chrystel is sooooo kind and just a great person. It made the experience even more wonderful because she was so sweet. Between my friend and I, we made 16 candles, there’s so many great scents to choose from. They make great gifts! We also bought some lotions and soy candles. Almost everything is customizable. One of the best things to do in Big Bear!

WOW this piece is amazing. We found this place on Unilocal and decided that we wanted to go in and make a candle. The owners are very friendly and we had such amazing conversation whilst we sat at their candle making bar. The color choices, the scent options and the size choices was more than I could have asked for. If we ever come back to big bear on vacation I will most definitely come here. The experience alone was so fantastic and fun. It’s also lovely to be able to not only make something, but also go home with a handmade treasure from big bear

Walking down the village in big bear and came across this adorable little candle shop. So glad I walked in here! Who knew making a candle would be so much fun. If you have a chance stop in and have a great experience!

I absolutely love this place. It’s the only reason why I go to Big Bear. I love the soap. I have the coconut and pomegranate ones. I love how they make my skin feel and I love the smell of them. I have made a candle in a Diamond shape and the campfire scent. I don’t want to light the candle but my bf lite it anyways. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.

Pain relief for sciatica!!! I just wanted to say thank you to Chrystel for making me an inhaler and muscle rub for my excruciating pain which is because I suffer from Piriformis Syndrome. I use the rub 2xs a day once before my stretching in the morning and the other in the evening when I massage the area. Throughout the day I use the inhaler which helps manage the pain. I do still take a muscle relaxer but her products help me sleep and I couldn’t thank her more for her amazing knowledge. If you suffer from sciatic pain you know some days you can barely move or simply sit or stand without that terrible pain. Because of her products slowly I am gaining control of my chronic pain.

This place is awesome, my wife and I went in here and talked with the owners which are husband and wife. We had such a blast making our own candles and checking out the hand crafted soaps made by them. Very nice people I recommend this place to everyone male or female.

This place is absolutely wonderful! It was relaxing and a ton of fun, as my husband and I, along with two other couples and their kids made candles (choosing our own scents, colors, shapes, and sizes). We’ll certainly be returning on a monthly basis.

I brought my visitors from Minnesota into this shop, and we had a blast creating candles (and boy do they smell great!) We walked in with the intention of us two girls making a candle each, but ended up walking out with 5 candles total! Our boyfriends couldn’t resist making their own candles after seeing how much fun we were having with ours. And my friend couldn’t decide which of the many scents she wanted most, so she got her top two favorites.
The folks in this shop are really nice, and made my guests feel so welcome! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a date night in the Big Bear Village, or anyone who might enjoy some creative therapy! You’ll be surprised at how relaxing it is to sort colored wax chunks into a mold!

This little gem has been the highlight to our annual couples retreat for the past two years! THE CANDLES ARE TRULY BEYOND AMAZING, WELL MADE and are NOT EXPENSIVE! I love gathering the ladies up to visit this wonderful establishment for some relaxation, girl talk and fun! And this year was no different, we had a great time!!! The owner, Chrystel and her husband are both so warm and friendly from the time you enter. They were so patient and helpful. Each of us left with personally made candles, scrubs, and most importantly the GEL scented candles that we plan to bring back to be refilled next year! YES YOU CAN HAVE THE GEL CANDLES REFILLED!!!
When at home, I receive so many compliments about the long lasting fragrance and people are surprised to know that you can choose from a variety of scents (my preference is gardenia)!! This is definitely a DO NOT MISS WHILE IN BIG BEAR! You will be in for a treat!

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this amazing little store during our last trip to Big Bear. Wow! I’m glad I found it. We both made our own candles… even my boyfriend enjoyed making his own candle and picking his favorite scent. They have a ton of amazing scented oils and the candle shapes are so cute! I LOVE my eucalyptus candle; and the best part is I picked the perfect colors to match my bathroom décor!
We chatted with the owner and found out she’s an organic chemist… After testing some of her beauty products and learning more about the ingredients she uses, I was sold. Her product is so pure –the soaps are so moisturizing! We will definitely be back on our next trip to bear.

My friend has a cabin in Big Bear so when we went up last month, we found this gem of a place while walking around!
It’s a small store with an area for custom candle making where the owner, Chrystel, will walk you through the process of selecting scents and colors for your candle. Us girls were completely drawn to the premade soaps which resemble slices of colorful bread. They smelled HEAVENLY and there were a few diff scents on the shelves. Soaps were $ 5 each and at first I was a bit hesitant, but Chrystel told us that everything is hand-​made with natural & extremely hydrating ingredients (ex. shea butter, etc… *I can’t remember all the ones she listed as its been so long so I’ll have to give an update next time*)!!
Honestly, the soaps smell so nice that I ended up rationing my treasured soap slice. Luckily, my friend went up last week and picked me up another one! From what my friend told me, the owner is super flexible and if we call in before we head up, she’ll custom make lotions and things for you! Would make for cute customizable gifts as well!
