Had to do a breakfast take out at least one morning. Excellent fresh croissants and chocolate croissants. Bread pudding good too.

This is the smaller store located in the village… and when I say smaller, i really mean small… it is tiny!!! The bigger main store is off of Big Bear Blvd. They were already closed, so we came here instead. I was dying to see what the sweet shop was like after driving by at least 5 times on big Bear blvd. It was almost closing time but they had a few cupcakes and cookies left. I choose the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. Honestly, the cupcake didn’t blow me away. It was kinda small and when I took a bite it was dry. I was disapointed. I ended up tossing it and eating some of my boyfriends ice dream that he got up the street. It wasn’t at all a bad cupcake(i don’t think there is such a thing), it was just disappointing! Maybe because it was closing time… who knows. Next time I will go earlier, or try the big shop up the road.

Another location I like to visit anytime I’m in Big Bear. My favorite are the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. They are so delicious! Must try.

S’mores are the best. This place should definitely go on cupcake wars because they rock at desserts. Wish they had more consistent hours but I am sure they are dictated by the mountain high and low times. This place is a must hot if they are open.

We walked by and saw all the cupcakes in the window and knew we had to stop and get one. The cupcakes all looked so good and tasted just as good as they looked. The shop was tiny in terms of space, so only a few people fit inside at a time. The girl working the counter was really nice and explained each of the cupcakes we were pointing at. They even had a shelf of yesterday’s cupcakes that are $ 1 or so cheaper but virtually taste the same. I’m glad they don’t just keep cupcakes overnight and re-sell them again as fresh cupcakes. Will definitely be stopping by here again for dessert next time we’re in Big Bear.

The Little Guy to The Mother of ALL Big Bear Baked Goods This is the small brother/sister of the main store located just a few minutes away at 40191 Big Bear Blvd Big Bear Lake, CA92315. Although they don’t have a big selection of sweets they have enough for your Big Bear Village stroll and sweet tooth. They have cakes, cup cakes, cookies, and a bunch of other sweet goodness. They also have coffee and various hot beverages. The customer service here was good and you can tell they really take pride in their shop and are passionate about making people happy with sweets and sugar :). They are usually only open on weekends but check their site for details.

I just had my best cupcake I ever had in there! It was an excellent strawberry one with fresh fruit inside. They also have excellent cannoli with chocolate and vanilla. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

we can into Little Sugar Pine when we were up in Big Bear to snowboard. We had some time during the afternoon just to wander around downtown. I have the biggest sweet tooth so obviously we had to stop by. I got the champagne cupcake. My friends got the crème brûlée bread pudding and the red velvet cupcake. The Crème Brulee bread pudding was amazing. i’ve never eaten anything like that before. It tasted like crème brûlée in a shape of a brownie. Easy to eat and so good! My champagne cupcake was ok… not as good as Sweet Surrender’s(Giada’s fav pink champagne shop located in Bakersfield) but not bad :) the consistency of the cake was nice. not a fan of buttercream frosting though. would love to visit again if i ever go back to big bear next winter!

Tiny version of the big shop 2 miles away. Only eat things from here and no where else, trust me, every time we ate out here, we wished we had just gone to mcd’s. So in the end, thats what we did! This place is amazing. Freshly baked goodness and super cutie lil place to grab a piece of heaven, cross the street and sit under a tree and linger over your baked goodness! $ 3 huge stuffed brownies, my fav was the oreo crème filling inside the brownie! 2 can share… oh and comes in a tiny pink box! love!
