Friendly folks work here and try to provide a nice experience. We played here for the first time the other night. We are experienced bingo players from AZ, and found this bingo to be VERY different. Your basic pack has only 4 cards per page. Same price I have paid to always get 9 cards per page. This made it expensive as I had to buy extra sheets for us in order to have a chance and not get bored. Games were strange. Had to get multiple bingos on different cards, triple bingos, etc. If you are a bingo novice or casual player I wouldn’t recommend this place. 3 ladies that sat near us and ended up leaving half way as they were pretty confused. Not their fault. Also, it is Very noisy. If you don’t like noisy bingo, you won’t like this place. This was not a terrible experience, but we won’t be coming back here. Not the type of bingo we are used to.

My wife and I visited the lodge for Bingo on a Friday night. What a great experience! Most of the people there are locals and we were concerned we might be seen as «outsiders.» Well if we were we never felt it. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great time and would not hesitate to go back.

If you want a true locals experience, come check out bingo on Friday nights. Bf and I drove into town and when I saw the«BINGO — Fridays at 7pm» sign I let him know that I had just figured out our evening plans. So for about 3 hours we daubbed our hearts out and really enjoyed the ambiance that is an Elks Lodge. It didn’t hurt that he also got a bingo for a whopping $ 25! The man running the desk was super friendly and made sure we knew which weird bingo shape(postage stamp, hard ways, walk the dog) went with the game. Our table mates were also friendly and obviously bingo fanatics — but who isn’t? If we are ever in Big Bear on a Friday night, you can find us here.
