I had my bad experience with them. Much more than once. But Fred is a good guy and i can tell he cares about what he does and who he serves. He took time to come down to my work place and talk to me and i appreciated that. Food is great, but i hope they manage their time and customers better. No need to over load because their customer service drops dramatically.

Always a great meal and worth the money. It’s the cheapest place in Beverly Hills and the quality is great! I order to go or sit and dine on their sidewalk patio. It’s great to watch the world go by and enjoy my meal.

So working where I work there isn’t anything around and everything is expensive, first time ordering food and the food was really good I got the breakfast burrito with no bacon, they got my order right. It’s cheap, no delivery fee. They were fast too. Everything was perfect !

After leaving my review the owner responded with an apology for my poor experience. When I called to order lunch today, he was kind enough to speak with me and I was very appreciative of his costumer service and desire to correct the problem. I’m very satisfied with the owner’s action and response. The food was, as always, delicious! Thank you!

In Beverly Hills four days, and got food from here three days so far! Excellent food, excellent service! We ate there the first day, the next day I went there and ordered take away, and today, they delivered right to my hotel room via bicycle! Great service, great quality, very reasonable prices, too! Oh, and wonderful«New York style» coffee!!!

I love this place! It’s my go to! I do not however love when I request tapatio with my breakfast burrito and call back because my colleague also ordered to see if they can include in her order for delivery and the girl who took my order argues with me to tell me they only include upon request, which I did. She even wrote it on my box for delivery. Thanks. They could use better customer service.

Walter’s is the equivalent of a quaint Beverly Hills diner, right on Beverly, smack dab between Wilshire and Charleville. Decent prices and super nice staff that have been there a while, but with a modern design(not 70s-style) and a big screen TV on the wall. I believe I’m the first on Unilocal to review their Matzo Brei, which is served scramble style, not in omelet form. You have a choice of potatoes, tomatoes, or something else with the order. I got the potatoes, but unfortunately they were served on the same plate. I had to eat the potatoes first, before applying syrup(otherwise I would have had syrup-y potatoes). The potatoes were good. The matzo brei had a good consistency, but the«brei» had an onion kick to it, which was kind of odd. I wasn’t a fan of the flavor(or perhaps after-taste). My food wasn’t great, but other orders looked good, and I really liked the feel of the place.

So I have ordered many many times since my original review. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant. I always order through Eat24. I’ve really wanted to raise my rating, but at this time, I just can’t. However, I am updating in hopes that maybe the negatives I have experienced will get better. First, I must say that the cobb salad is one of the best I have ever had. Except I order it without bleu cheese, but sometimes it comes with it anyway. I have found that any alterations to the standard way a dish comes is not always honored, even if they write it on the box. For example, one time I ordered the stir fry with chicken, but it arrived with tofu. That’s the one time I called an had them remake it. Yesterday I ordered the Cozumel salad and the chicken was not fully cooked. It was pink. I picked it off and ate the rest of the salad. I have also noticed the prices have gone up a lot since I first started ordering here. There’s another place nearby with similar food for lower prices that has never gotten my order wrong. However, Walter’s does have a couple of items that i really like. I just wish that they would be consistent in getting my order right.

Went here for brunch with Connie! Didn’t know what to expect but came here with high hopes that this would be another great brunch adventure! Parking: thank goodness there’s a parking structure further down across the street, 2 hours free if you come before 6pm! Layout: really cute place with a quaint café vibe, with a sprinkling of hipster to it. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. Connie and I sat right outside where it wasn’t too hot or cold Food: Connie ordered the eggs Benedict and I got the shakshuka. The shakshuka is really good, very flavorful and not too spicy despite it saying in the description that it was. If you’re a tomato lover this dish is for you! Came with two slices of pita bread that was great for dunking into the sauce. My only issue is that the dish gets cold fast so make sure to eat it right away! Service: it was about right, although since we were outside they weren’t very inclined to check on us but it really wasn’t a big deal. We came for brunch on a Thurs morning so it wasn’t that busy. Overall: 4⁄5 stars for everything, not a five star just because the food wasn’t ASTOUNDING, but it’s a good place if you want a quick bite to eat for brunch. I recommend for beginner brunchers!

We had breakfast here this morning. My husband loves Walter’s and now I’m a fan too. We had coffee and hot chocolate which is served in a giant teacup. I got the corned beef hash and eggs with roasted potatoes. Corned beef hash could use a bit more meat, less potatoes. The roasted potatoes were crisp and well seasoned and the eggs were perfectly cooked. My sesame bagel was well toasted, just the way I like it. My husband’s bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious. Service is quick and efficient.

The price is fairly reasonable especially for the area. I had the Cobb salad which doesn’t taste bad but it was chopped REALLYFINE. They did say it’s chopped on the menu but I just didn’t expect to be chopped that fine, feels funny to me since it reminds me of old people food almost. Probably won’t get it again but they have a lot other stuff on the menu anyway that I can probably try. Service was descent. :)

Cheap and good in Beverly Hills? Inconceivable! But it’s there, in the form of this friendly institution on Beverly Blvd. My gf and I went here for brunch on a Sunday and it wasn’t crowded at all. The food comes out hot and quick and the servers are super efficient. And dude, it’s totally reasonable. My corned beef hash was perfect as were the eggs and potatoes with it and my gal’s healthy omelette looked just that, totally healthy. One thing, parking is hassle as it’s street but we parked in the lot across the street from Anthropologie so it gave us an excuse to shop there afterwards. Good spot!

Imagine your typical Steve’s Burger type of place but with a twist of Beverly Hills quality, that is Walter’s Café. Since I work in the area we order from here regularly. Typically just breakfast but some of my co workers order lunch items as well. Definitely recommend the breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros or corned beef. Burgers and sandwiches are good as well and it’s one of the few places in the Golden Triangle area that serves it at a decent price considering most of the restaurants in the area are typically on the fancier side. Price wise it is a little more than your standard Steve’s Burger type of place like I described it earlier. A plain standard burger costs you around $ 7 without any sides. Most places they start around $ 4 – 6. But it’s Beverly Hills, what do you expect? They do delivery which is a big plus. Delivery time of course varies on your distance, but seeing as how my workplace is about 2 blocks away, it takes anywhere from 20 – 40 minutes depending on how much you order. Free delivery over $ 10 on EAT24. TIP: CHECKONLINEFORCOUPONSFROMEAT24 I’ve ordered from here several times and have used numerous EAT24 codes. The standard is $ 2 off your order, but I’ve seen several that are more. Never experienced the dining experience there, but passing by it, it looks like a decent spot.

Where do I start… Ever since I moved to Los Angeles I’ve been looking for a go to breakfast spot. Many places throughout LA are good but after finding Walters, I’ve found everything that I ever needed. One of the most welcoming spots in Beverly Hills and the food is amazing. The staff and servers are sweethearts. Lisa takes care of us often(ask for her) she’ll take care good care of you. Whenever you need a good breakfast or even just company to be around I would highly recommend going to Walters. After you go once… I guarantee you’ll be back :)

Walter’s Café is alright, but it does not hold its ground compared to other similarly priced lunch options on Beverly. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place on a whim, after walking past our tried and true Chaumont. The menu had some great offerings, but the ambience just was not there. Inside was busy and noisy, and the to-go counter was directly behind our table as people were constantly walking in and out, and standing right by us while waiting for their food. I ordered a baby kale salad with grilled salmon. The salad was a good size, and the dressing was yummy. My only complaint about the salad is that the salmon was a bit overcooked and dry. Overall, the food was tasty but nothing special. Our waitress was fine, but not the most friendly. She asked if I wanted bread or crackers, and I said bread, but she didn’t hear me and replied«okay, I will bring you crackers» and then quickly walked away. She was clearly overwhelmed and busy with other tables, which made it difficult to get her attention. All in all, this place was fine for the lunch and the food was pretty good, but I don’t see myself coming back here because of the ambience and the myriad of superior lunch places in the area.

My girlfriend and I stopped in at Walter’s Café for lunch the other day. I thought that the food was good, but that it was a little bit expensive for what it was. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad($ 14), which comes with ahi tuna lightly seared and served rare over mixed greens, tomato, mushrooms, and cucumbers with a sesame dressing. I also added avocado(extra $ 1.50). The tuna was good enough, but I wouldn’t say it was anything that was out of this world. The mixed greens, tomato, and mushrooms were fine, but again, the salad was nothing to call home about. The avocado was probably the best part of the meal; it was creamy and perfectly ripe. But, at $ 1.50, a half, it felt a little bit expensive. The dressing was pretty good too though! Our waitress and the woman greeting people outside were both quite friendly. It was a little bit loud inside, so our waitress had a little bit of trouble hearing us, which was a little bit annoying. She was fine in my opinion though. The bread that came with the salad was good, a standard roll. I really liked that our waitress promptly brought us our checks too; we were able to stand right up when we were finished and head right to the counter to pay. Overall, Walter’s Café is nice little lunch spot that is a little bit expensive for what it is. I think that there are better choices in the area — If I want a salad, I think I prefer Chaumont’s Quinoa-Arugula Salad($ 12.95) with Chicken($ 5) or Salmon($ 6), which is a little bit more expensive, but higher quality. I also prefer the french roll that Chaumont gives. Walter’s Café is not a bad place to have lunch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

My hairdresser in Beverly Hills told me about Walter’s, proclaiming that they have the best breakfast burrito in town. Alas, I did not have the breakfast burrito because I was trying to be healthy, so I opted for the oatmeal with berries. Not exactly comparable, but given that it’s something pretty boring to order, I was still quite satisfied with my order. They gave me plenty of things on the side to add flavor to the oatmeal, which was cooked perfectly(not too soggy and not too hard). My bf had the croque madame which for being a croque madame, was on the healthier side(they make it with turkey and he asked for egg whites), which is a good thing. I’d definitely order that next time, or perhaps the breakfast burrito. It wasn’t crowded on a late Saturday morning, which was a nice surprise given how busy places can get around that time. A nice place to go for a solid, hassle free breakfast.

So many choices on this menu that I swear it was like studying for a finals test in college… except I enjoyed it! Stay in school still though! Service here was really good, very attentive and sweet, and very swift as well. Came here for lunch, I was sad they closed at 3pm, would’ve came back for dinner too! :P Ordered the cali turkey pannini with avocado– wow what huge portions! It was delicious and warm, the brie cheese was just oozing. I was definitely glad I didn’t decide to order more, my eyes are always bigger than my stomach… is that the saying? anyways. My sister ordered the california special roll which i was jealous of because of the sprouts! This one is just a really refreshing roll, you could have it cut sushi style to where they look like pin wheels or just in half… I will definitely be getting this one next time. mmm sprouts. definitely recommend this place, the price is actually pretty decent for the amount of food that you get. I will be coming back again, maybe i’ll get to go when i’m in the area! bombdotcom approved.
