Pretty good NY style takeout. Highly recommend. We got the three flavored special and it was delicious.

I gave them 2 stars because i like the food. They made a mistake on my order before, made me pay for the wrong food and said it was my fault and wouldn’t stop arguing so. The first time i can just let it pass but the second and third time they mess up on my orders and not accept thier mistake is the last straw. Me and my coworkers order here twice a day. No more! Apparently they’re not affected by losing business. The customer is usually right, but they wouldnt even accept the fact they make miatakes on orders and keep trying to justify themselves or turn it around and say the customer made the mistake. Goodluck with this place and these rude chinese people. Hope this place burns down.

Chef Ming’s is the closest Chinese takeout to my home, so I tried my very best to like them. I especially appreciated that they offer vegan substitutes, albeit for more money. But after this last visit, I’m done with them for good. The first offense was early on in our relationship. I ordered a tofu dish which, once I tasted it at home, obviously contained spoiled tofu. As a courtesy, I called them to inform them so they could dispose of any remaining bad product and avoid serving it to any others. I didn’t ask for nor expect anything from them as I was already home. My tone was respectful and my intent was to be helpful. Instead of even a simple«Sorry this happened. Thank you for telling us,» I got what could be best described as a defensive grunt and some additional words that I didn’t entirely make out and don’t entirely remember, except to say it was non-apologetic and rather accusatory for bothering them. Then I got a click and a dial tone– they hung up on me. I did not order from them for a good year or two after. But alas, I got hungry, and it was so close, I decided to give them another chance. Isn’t there some saying about people deserving second chances? Well, that saying is dumb, just like me for going back. This last visit, the orange chicken had that horrible dirty, old oil flavor in a big way. It was another indication that Chef Ming’s is not hygiene oriented and has low regard for freshness. I can forgive a dish that’s not so tasty, or an order with an incorrect item. I obviously even overlooked spoiled tofu once, but«bad» ingredients twice, coupled with disregard for customer feedback on this issue, is too much for even my huge appetite.

This place used to be good but it’s been bad the last two times. After reading the other reviews, it appears that the restaurant might’ve changed management/ownership.

We received a delivery menu at work and the plus was no msg and the pictures and menu were well done. Nothing came as it appeared except for the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Just placed a delivery order of 130.00 plus online –only one request-chopsticks– Received-none Since when are chinese pancakes –tortillas??? Food pretty bland-except the Honey Walnut shrimp. Pork and Beef sub par-hardly recognizable . Couldn’t fine hardly any chicken in chicken lo mein-should have just called it plain lo mein. Not one vegetable in it either. Blah!!! Will not order from here again.

Used to be good food and reasonably priced. All the people changed, and the food has been very bad consistently for over a year. But it hasn’t stopped them from raising prices about 20% per year the last couple years. Last night, I promised myself I would never go back. I was a regular customer from 2009 to last night.

L73 flavors sautéed vegetable lunch special with egg drop soup and the egg roll is the best bang for your buck. I would highly recommend this place time and time again just for the plate.

This place deserves no stars! Beware when you order for delivery. A couple of co workers and I ordered from this place for lunch today and it was such a bad experience. The delivery guy comes in and is having a conversation with one of my co workers and i could tell it wasn’t a pleasant one. I see the delivery man reach into one of the food bags at which point I approach them. They had put in my spring rolls in the bag, not packaged for delivery but just three them in an old walmart plastic bag! The delivery driver reached in and grabbed them with a napkin and tried to tell me that they are fine as he wrapped them in a napkin. I didnt know what to say, I didnt even know how to react. I told him I didnt want them because it was unsanitary but I don’t think he really understood. A walmart plastic bag! When he left I called the restaurant and they didn’t seem to care. Don’t waste your money if you want to eat safe food.

I got the veggie egg rolls and vegetable lo mein. Both were well below average; egg rolls were not crispy and noodles were practically flavorless. Also, the delivery person was rude to my very kind, elderly downstairs neighbor on his way up. Will not be ordering again.

They have the«bomb» for the«low». If you don’t know what that means, let me explain, they have quality food and service for a reasonable price. I recommend Chow FUN. Very fast delivery service and polite delivery drivers(rare).

to talk about food quality first: below average(too oily), I’d take Panda Express over this anytime. Second, I was amazed that at this point of time, with social media and all, how rude these people are! SUPERRUDE, they have 3 small tables outside, one of them was occupied by a customer, the other two were occupied by the owner and his wife and the third by a worker there(they had aprons on) as I am ordering, the owner gets in a fight with one of the cooks in the back and the cook quits infront of me,(the owner seemed very abusive), owner goes back to join his wife at the table, I had to sit at the counter inside as no tables were available outside, now I am no snob, but the way these owners were inhaling their food, with food splattering everywhere was really nauseating ‚. So I packed my food and I left, and when I stepped outside, I was surprised that I was in the heart of Beverly Hills…

It is impressive how rude people and mean people can change an opinion. So their kung pow is only baby corn and chicken. So what their crab rangoon is only cream cheese. So what they are unkind, no big deal… Except the food is not good enough to make up for the owners. It’s really too bad.

Portion size is great for families. Flavors are intense and various, rather than all the sauces being the same. We had the chicken with garlic black bean sauce(salty but very tasty), pan fried noodles(not too salty, pretty okay), spinach with mushrooms(everything suitably soft, very strong mushroom flavor, very light and not oily). Surprise: white rice gratis. I really appreciate that there are three or more dudes behind the counter cooking: I feel like they are doing the food better than if it were a one-cook staff, which I have seen elsewhere in this town.

I’ve eaten at this place for over 15 years now; first, when I used to work at the Movies and More that used to be on the same plaza, and now for take out/delivery since I live close by. In the scope of things, this place is not worth five stars, but this is the best Chinese place west of DTLA. It doesn’t compare to places in SGV, but if you are on the westside, then this place is very solid. Their hot and sour soup, cold sesame noodles, orange beef, and walnut shrimp are my favorites. But everything here is never greasy or made with pieces of funky, unknown meat(kind of like Twin Dragon). Everything is fresh and flavorful. It’s great Chinese food for white people. I never feel gross after eating it. The fact that they have been here in Beverly Hills for over 20 years speaks to the quality of the place. The delivery can take a while during peak times, but the orders are never wrong and packaged very well. They are usually not the friendliest people when you are on the phone or getting take out, but they get the job done, so I don’t care.

Our office orders take out from Ming’s Kitchen at least once a week. They’re fast and the food is tasty. It’s one of the better Chinese food places in the west side. Their prices are not too bad compared to most restaurants in Beverly Hills, especially if you order from the lunch special menu(Monday-Saturday 11:30am-3:30pm). The lunch specials come with a side of rice, egg roll and soup/salad. I like the hot and sour soup. You can also opt for fried rice instead of the steamed white rice or brown rice. My favorite item at Ming’s so far is the orange chicken lunch special. I love that it is made with white meat chicken. If you’re looking for great Chinese food on the west side, definitely get it from Ming’s. I heard that customer service is really bad but my coworker generally handles the ordering so I haven’t experienced it firsthand.
