I am very pleased with the Drought Smart’s work and customer service. I had heard of graywater systems but assumed that it would be a large initial investment to install one. I was pleased by the cost of the services and how quickly the system was installed. Now that we are using our laundry runoff to water our trees, we can use other water for our pots and other plantings and still stay within our water conservation goal.
I highly recommend that everyone contact Dought Smart and find out if a graywater system is viable for their homes. I couldn’t be happier with the services provided or with the outcome.

We are so pleased that we used Drought Smart for a laundry to landscape greywater system. We have been working hard to develop our garden over the whole 13 years that we have owned our home. We made a decision that, despite the drought, we would continue watering and save water in other areas of our consumption. Although our washing machine uses a very small amount of water, we were able to cover a large area with our system and we haven’t watered it since.
We loved the entiretly working with Poncho at Drought Smart. He is personable, communicated well about the process and expectations and great follow through. I love the fact that they are a worker cooperative and trying to make these systems affordable for people.
