It just isn’t what it use to be. I did not find parking in the garage. I may not have looked hard enough. I found street parking. The fondue parts were not filled as much as they use to be when they first opened. Space was tight in the bar where we were allowed to sit for happy hour. The only seats left were at high chairs which are uncomfortable for me, because I am 5’2. People behind us were bumping into my husband as they tried to visit with their friends. It took a WHILE for our food, especially the fondues. Price was OK. It felt like they were really watching food costs. I **hope** they turn things around.

Atmosphere is nice. Service was definitely not up to par. Server told me the broccoli was quickly steamed before they serve them… really? My broccoli was brown at the flower. Bs excuses! A quick steam does not turn the broccoli brown. What turns it brown is because it is no longer fresh! Should be a 1 star, but I’ve only been here twice. the first time was 3star. Last visit was 1, so 2 star it is!

Always enjoy our experience at other Melting Pots, just don’t bother showing up to this location without a reservation. Spoke to the manager after being quoted«45 minute» wait time and NOONEWAS WAITING-was informed they only staff the restaurant based on reservations. Although open table had 3 reservations within that 45 minute time frame-taking our business elsewhere was what we chose to do. Best of luck and make a reservation!

Giving this location 4 based on the service we received. Alex was an awesome waiter and took the time to explain how everything worked. He even made me realize we were scammed by our waiter in the Tacoma location(I left a review there if interested).

Such a fun place to go to! Went there for my birthday and had amazing time. I was able to enjoy the food and place is a nice booth. They even had a card and balloons waiting for me. The staff were amazing and I am defiantly going back again.

Don’t. Just… don’t. Best thing about this place: service was attentive. Beyond that, even — it was fawning. Worst thing: The food. Or the price of the food. Not sure which. I honest would rather hit up a McDonald’s than go here. At least the food at McD’s is better. No, seriously. It is. And the price we pay at McD’s for a meal? That’s about what the price for Melting Pot should have been. It’s that quality. That said, it seems like there are lots of fans. Good for you. But if you’re considering this place for the first time, here’s my guideline: If you like food, don’t like getting ripped off, don’t like seeing brown rot on your vegetables they serve you, like food(did I say that already?), and hate being disappointed, I recommend you go somewhere else.

We had a great time and the food was awesome. The Four Course was plenty of food and it was great going at it own pace. Highly recommend the Fusion Fondue

The Melting Pot is my favorite restaurant. I have been to most of them in the US. They do not disappoint. Best fondue, best dessert, great bar every time. I was shocked to see this place with less than 5 stars and had to take a look at the bad reviews. Here are some tips to consider before writing reviews: 1. If you don’t know what fondue is, don’t gripe when they serve it to you at the fondue restaurant. 2. If you are not open to new experiences, stick with old country buffet. 3. The menu has prices printed on it. If you choose not to read them, don’t whine when the bill comes. Seriously! For those reading that are not complete morons, the Melting Pot is better than sex. Well, to me anyway. It is consistently great, you know exactly what you are going to get each time, it is always there when you want it and you can leave with a smile and no hangover. Yes, it can be pricey. I recommend that you do the entire meal once, it’s quite the experience. It’s not my thing, I don’t want to pay to cook my own food. I have tried both types of entrees(oil and broth), ultimately I just dumped the entire meat plate in the pot. I have no patience. A usual meal at the Melting Pot for me is about $ 60 for two. I order the toe curling cheese fondue, the mind blowing dessert, and drinks. I leave full and blissed out. Yes, this is a longer meal. It has to be, it’s fondue. You eat it marinating each bite. Besides, any truly satisfying experience is time consuming. If that is not your thing, Old Country Buffet. Jordan, the manager, stopped by the table and asked how we were doing. That was nice. The wait staff is always great at the Melting Pot though yes I did notice they were less energetic here than usual. It took quite some time to get our drinks. We did have to wait a bit between courses… and it was empty when we walked in with no reservstion on a Wed at 7pm. This does not bode well for busier times, but you go with a companion you enjoy and actually talk. I survived. I love that they change up the menu and plan to return to try all the new cheeses and desserts!

Went there the first day of Seattle Restaurant Week(SRW), but they gave us the regular menu, we had to ask for the SRW menu, so the hostess seemed uninformed. For SRW, I believe the portions were smaller which was perfect for our party. We topped it off with dark chocolate fondue. This came with excellent dipping items that paired well with the dark chocolate. Service was just okay.

5 stars for that artichoke and spinach fondue dip, 3.5 for chocolate dip, and 2 stars for entrée portion. Came here with my bff for restaurant week. She liked this place and I never been to restaurant week so why not give this place a go! I ordered the California salad, which was good, and I order the melting pot specialty entrée. I think it had pork, chicken, potsticker and some other thing. For the portion, it was ridiculously expensive… My friend order the land and sea which had steak and chicken and shrimp. When I’m talking entrees, I’m talking about 4 small chicken cubes and 4 small ass steak cubes, and 4 small pork cubes and 2 pot stickers! I’m quite small but I can eat a lot and that entrée will definitely not fill anyone up. Idk if it’s because of restaurant week or something but man… I was laughing at how small the portions are. You essentially boil these small pieces of meat in flavored water and eat it with the 6 different sauces they give you. I would not come back for the entrée. We ordered a cheese fondue which we had to in order to feel full from the three course meaL. That was amazing, great fondue! He made it in front of us and they gave us various sides to dip it in the cheese. I would only come here for that tbh. The dessert portion, I was excited for. However, they don’t give you much fruits and they gives us various small cakes you dip in chocolate. I feel like they purchase these cakes from Costco or something and cut it up and have us dip it in fondue. Those cakes are sooooo sweet already, so when you dip it in chocolate it was over-killed with sugar. I wonder if the can replace those cakes with just fruits. I think I would find that more enjoyable. Next time, I’ll call and ask. Come here for the fondue, not a meal you boil in water. Go to hotpot for that. LOL

I’ve been here two other times, both were great. So tonight when I was flying solo and needed a pick-me-up, this was the first place I thought of. I sat at the bar and ordered a mocktail(currently on a booze hiatus). The bartender made a delicious version of a mojito. When I decided to order cheese fondue and a salad, he informed me that it was«Ladies Night» which included what I ordered plus chocolate fondue. I was on the fence about getting chocolate before, but I couldn’t pass up this deal: $ 20!!! ***Cheese: Wisconsin Trio. Amazing if you like the taste of bleu cheese. I loved it! ***Salad: Ceaser. Small, but why would I want to fill up on a big salad anyway?! Not overly dressed like some reviews suggest. Personal preference: didn’t care for the sweetness of the pine nuts and some croutons were very hard. ****Chocolate: Dark & Dulce. YUMYUMYUM. Dark chocolate with a drizzling of Dulce de Leche, finished with a lightl sprinkle of sea salt. I opted out of the sweets and chose all fruit dippers. I wanted to lick the pot!!! ******One star deduction***** Upon arriving: the host wouldn’t sit me at a booth because of «reservations»…at 830pm… on a thursday… whatever, I feel comfortable at any bar. The vegies that came with the cheese fondue could be updated. I liked the cauliflower and brocolli, but carrots? Not something easily stabbed. Also, the pieces were pretty tiny. I get it, it’s the end of the night, but the chef should take pride with each guest no matter what. In conclusion: I’ll DEFINITELY come back for Ladies Night on Thursdays. The bartenders were great and my choices were on point.

I’ve always really wanted to try The Melting Pot. Fondue is amazing and I’d heard good reviews from other people(always with the caveat«If you want to blow a hundred dollars on a dinner, though.»). I was finally able to go on Monday because they were doing a cool 4-course for $ 29 special. When me and my friend entered the place, I thought wow! It’s so fancy! Then they decide to seat us – We walk through the entire store(which had only two tables full, meaning there was about 20 tables open) and we were seated in the back, near the supply closet. It felt bad. It occurred to us to ask to be seated somewhere else, but we were so blown away: why had they put us so far away? For about a half an hour we sat alone(no one within a five table radius of us!), and it started to make us feel weird. Is it because we’re overweight? Was it because we had colorful hair? We’re not sure, but honestly, it felt just awful. The first course was okay – you get to choose a cheese and then they bring you bread and vegetables to dip. I was disappointed by how much wine they add to the cheese. There was so much that I couldn’t actually taste anything else. After the cheese, we got a salad, which was actually quite nice. It looked like they took pre-cut salad mix and added some tomatoes and a couple slices of hard boiled eggs. Sadly, I had asked for no tomatoes on my salad, and there was a lot when they brought it out. Considering how I already felt dejected because of where we were sat, I felt kind of crappy about my order coming out wrong. My friend was fuming and wanted to ask them to get us a new plate, but I didn’t want to deal with it so I picked the tomatoes out. By the time they were gone, my salad was smaller and lame looking. Then we got to pick the entrée. I had the spinach and artichoke ravioli, the potstickers, and then the crusted chicken. They bring you 5 different sauces to try, of which, only one of them tastes good – they all had weird after tastes. I asked for their house dressing which is a honey mustard, and it was good, but none of the dressings actually went with any of the food I was having, which was unfortunate. The best portion of the night was dessert. We had milk chocolate and they give you a bunch of fruit and brownies and little things to dip in the chocolate. It was very good. Was the best portion, yes, but by this time we were realizing that we’d been there for two hours – I was late to an appointment afterward. They don’t cook anything, so why did it all take so long? Frustrating. Also worth noting was that when the waitress came by she was very friendly and we liked her. That aside, both my friend and I won’t be returning. It’s not that it was an awful experience, but it was subpar considering the usual prices. It’s not just that even – I’ve been treated better at Denny’s. In the future, rather than go to the melting pot, I’ll go to Canlis for a similar price and receive incredible service and delicious food.

Honestly have no idea why this place only has 3 stars. My boyfriend took me here(our first time) last Monday night for my birthday and it was such a great dining experience. Environment: made 7:45 reservations just in case, but it wasn’t that busy at all which I loved! That way it’s not loud and servers can go to each table more! It’s pretty dark in there too. Food: my boyfriend and I each got the 4 course experience– we felt that this was the best option to get a little taste of everything. Each person gets their own salad and entrée, while the cheese, cooking style(we picked mojo) and dessert is shared. We got the classic alpine cheese, Caesar and California salad, the classic and surf&turf, and the yin yang chocolate dessert. We also got the 4-flight course(I think that’s the name?) which is 43-oz different wines to pair which each course you get! There’s two different flights and we each got one. — my favorite was def the Luccio wine which is a bubbly moscato Seriously, what a great experience it was! go go go!!!

My husband and I went to this restaurant on a weekday. When we arrived at the front door, there was no hostess around to greet us. Multiple servers/workers walked by and ignored us. After about 10 minutes, someone finally came by to tell us that«someone» would help us. The server was polite and seemed knowledgeable about the menu. The food itself took quite some time to come out. Once it did, everything(including meats and vegetables) were raw. It was an interesting experience as this place makes you cook your own food. The server gives you a timeline on how long to leave each food item cooking in the pot. Honestly, we were skeptical about getting food poisoning because we left the chicken cooking the recommended time, yet, when we looked at the pieces on the inside they were still pink! I was too hungry too have to wait for everything to be cooked, so this was not the best experience for me as I had to wait. The lighting was also extremely dark which made it difficult to tell what was cooked and what was not. The food portions were extremely small for the price. Additionally, the taste of the meat didn’t have good flavor. There were no spices or condiments to make it taste well. If you don’t want to wait a long time to be attended, worry about cooking tasteless food which might actually poison you, and pay a high price for a little bit of food, then I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Man, I have to say I went in with a mixed impression after reading some Unilocal reviews(I really have to stop doing that) but I was pleasantly surprised by the good experience I had. We were initially placed at a regular table near the front window with reservation but when we requested a booth, they were able to move us to one and it was very much appreciated. For our meal for 2, we chose the spinach artichoke dip, the Fondue Delight(lobster, chicken, shrimp and mushroom sacchetti) in the complimentary soup, and the dark chocolate sauce with sea salt on top. It was all incredibly enjoyable and I like how the waiter explains everything they’re putting in /doing while they are making your dip and soup. All of the food was delectable and it was a fun experience with the fondue being able to cook all of our own things. The service as well was superb, I don’t remember our waiter’s name but he did a great job and the general manager Sean also came around a couple time to check on the quality of our meal. I can always appreciate that kind of service from a restaurant. Overall, I’ve had a great experience with the food and the service from this restaurant and would definitely return and recommend it to my friends. PROTIP: If you still have cheese in your pot, you can continue to ask for more veggies!(Same goes for the chocolate + extras.

PROTIP: ask for more veggies, they will refill them as many times as you’d like.

My friend and I came here last night because somehow one of us got a job where we were deemed important enough to wield the almighty Microsoft passport and got 20% off. Hint: it wasn’t me. Fondue: we had the classic cheese, which I think was Swiss, Gruyère, and fontina with wine and fresh nutmeg. It was good and the cheese coated the bread easily and stayed hot, but a lot of the wine flavor didn’t cook out. I think that ones on me though, because I’m not the biggest wine fan. Salad: smallest salad I have ever seen, which is a shame because it was delicious! It was also $ 6.95! Entrée: we ordered the surf and turf, which came with a decent sized filet, steak, and a few veggie ravioli wonton things. The meat and seafood were deliciously tender and cooked well. Special props to the green goddess and curry sauces, delicious and the entire sauce presentation was adorable. The cooking broth… well…it tastes like ramen. Dessert: delicious. And sickly sweet. But still delicious. Although at this point I think we were drunk so everything was really funny. Drinks: LOVELY. I got the summer sangria at the recommendation of our server and it was good. Very sweet with a light moscato flavored with strawberry and garnished with strawberry. It isn’t strawberry season so it was kind of sour which balanced out the rest of the drink. Kind of a backhanded compliment, the fruit isn’t ripe but it made it better? Then we got the yin and yang cocktail… holy €%$@!!! It’s SO gorgeous and tasted delicious, kind of like an adult milkshake but it had those wonderful dark chocolate shavings. At this point I was kind of out of it so I was crying and blowing chocolate shavings all over the place. On that note, props to our server Nick for not throwing us out and staying patient and kind the whole time.

Went in for a groupon. Left full to da brim. You need to go in hungry and leave way over satisfied. Ordered the 4 flights of wine which comes with a wine per meal. Cheese fondue was good however my 7 yr old didn’t care for it. The salad was good preferably the tomato mozzarella and strawberry was Delilah. The salmon was good. And the teriyaki dipping sauce was winnahs.

The Melting Pott is an absolut fantastic place if you like Fondue. At your Table you will see, how your fondue is melting and your personal host will combine the individual Ingridents to your Fondue. As Drink you can chose between white and red wine. If you choose the Dinner for 2 you need a lot of time, because the Dinner is absolutly perfekt and the time runs away. A must visit Place in Seattle!!!
