We moved back to MI from VA and stayed at this hotel for a few nights before getting ourselves an apartment. The hotel is old. Approx 30 years old. It has new paint on the outside. The owners seem to be fixing it up. The inside although dated, is very clean. The front desk employees are extremely nice and friendly and knowledgeable. Our room’s AC worked fine. There is a Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel in walking distance. The hotel is located near lots of shops, Walmart Supercenter etc. The rent was decent. They allow pets too. The morning breakfast was excellent. They have a huge parking lot. As we found 5 tractor trailers parked there. They do not have a hot-tub, but their swimming pool was indoor and heated and the water was crystal-clear. All in all excellent hotel for the money. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. Many many thanks to the hotel staff and the manager for making our stay memorable.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. The facility was dirty and very poorly maintained. We asked for a wakeup call, which management agreed to to. But, when we checked into our room, we realized the phone was missing! If we had relied on this, we would have been in trouble. The hair dryer was missing – ripped off the wall plate in the bathroom. The switch for the wall-mounted light above our bed was missing – so the light could not be turned on. I could continue. But the thing that amazed me, after reading the reviews on a couple travel sites(e.g. ), is that the rating is way above what we experienced. Look at the reviews carefully, and I will bet my last dollar that management is padding their genuine negative reviews with fake ones to keep their rating. This hotel was terrible, and if there were protections against entering reviews with fake emails, the TRUE rating for this place would be evident.

I made reservations at this Comfort Inn thru after seeing several good reviews. The Comfort Inn I normally stay in when I come to Ann Arbor was booked due to a Nascar race. I don’t know hen these reviews were made but they were WAY off! The place is dirty… there was dirt and hair on the base of the bathtub the night we checked in. The sheets appeared clean(and I always bring my own pillow and blanket) but the comforter was filled with stains, including stains that were obviously fresher as you could actually see the«stuff» on the top of the comforter. I shudder to think of what those stains were from! Eeeew. The carpet was not vacuumed. There were spots of some substance on the floor and next to the toilet paper on the side of the sink. The second night we stayed(believe I wanted to leave the moment I arrived but there were no rooms available between Ann Arbor and Ohio(we ran into this once before years ago. Stopped in every town till we got to IN and then just said screw it and drove the rest of the way home to Chicago.) There was aloud group of people wo were obviously having a LOUD and good time. When we woke in the morning and headed down to their cheapened version of the Comfort Inn breakfast there were actually people sleeping in the hall on the floor! The place is a disgusting mess. The only good thing was that the a/c worked in the rooms. But walk down the hall or sit in the lobby and you are a sodden sweaty mess. I thank heaven that after tonight I will never, ever have to think about staying here again!!! I rate this place as Hell No PLEASE Don’t Go there!
