Absolutely the worse. Drive by this location all the time and decided to stop by and pick up a chilly dog. What a mistake. Worse hot dog i ever had. Would not recommend to anyone, unless I really don’t like you…

Remember when you went to Taco Bell as a kid? Before Chalupas & Encheritos … There was just tacos & burritos … Well Quickie Dog & Taco Quickie is old school drive thru & walk up goodness !! This is bomb cheap food & I was so happy to find it !!

Old school since 1965. This place really has reasonable prices for all their heart attack food which are pretty yummy. If you’re in the mood for some wanna be Mexican food skip the Taco Bell or Der Weinercrap and check out this place instead, the food is much better here. I ordered a chili beefer cheeseburger, chili cheese dog, bean & cheese burrito, and a hard shell taco. Yes, I ate it all at once but they are not huge portions. The only thing I did not like was that the cashier was also making the food and did not use gloves or wash her hands while preparing the food.

They changed the dogs they use. Prices remain reasonable. But the reason to go was the chili beefers, tacos but most of all the chili dogs. If I am not mistaken they used to use Vienna hot dogs now they use very cheap ones. Too bad. End of an era. Nostalgia gave them the two stars. But food quality is down. Very sad.

It’s basically a family owned«fast food» joint. Hey they are good and fair priced, the food is slightly better then fast food chains. If you like fast food, I’d recommend trying it at least once.

This place is great! Tacos and burritos are good and they have great prices. Many of the recipes at this location are from the original Taco Bell menu. The owners were once friends with Glen Bell owner of Taco Bell. Check it out.

I’m always on the look out to find a good hot dog place. To me, Chroni’s and the OG Tommy’s on Rampart are the standard. Heck, even a hot dog at the gas station or wienerschnitzel will do when I am looking for something cheap and quick. To be honest, this place sucks. The hot dogs are below wienerschnitzel standards and the tacos suck. This place is like a El taco meets wienerschnitzel but worse. Plus it’s cash only??? I liked the drive thru with the little car hop bell that goes off but other than that, this place is not good.

Came here once and it was pretty good! I had a chili cheese dog with onions and some fries and I really enjoyed it. Only thing I don’t like is that you have to eat outside. Other than that this place is great if you’re on a budget and need something quick!

Bell Beefers here are the best! My hubby has been going here for over 30 years! When he gets the urge, we drive in from Fullerton and enjoy! It’s small. They only take cash. It’s cheap. And the Hot sauce is awesome!

These tacos are my favorite I travel over 30 miles for these babies. The shells are always fresh and crispy with fresh lettuce and freshly grated cheese. Just be aware to make sure the workers WASH their hands before preparing your food especially if they collect your money first. The food including the burritos, totadas and bell beefers are really good!!!

Some of these reviews on here are lame. It’s a hole in the wall quick spot(hence the name) to grab some grub. If your coming here n expecting a 5 star dining/food experience then your gonna be disappointed. So get your heads out of your asses. Anyway this is a good lil spot to eat a chili cheese dog and tacos. Yes it’s not«authentic» Mexican food(duh!) but still good if your in the mood for some dive food

Their tacos are tasty, but unfortunately the family owned restaurant doesn’t have hygienic protocols when handling food. They write your order in a large white pad, tell you your total, then go make your food(which you can clearly see from the windows). This process involves touching crunchy tacos, and\or hot dog or hamburger buns. Once they have made your food, they collect the cash and coins owed(cash only) and hand over your meal. No glove putting or hand washing is involved in between. It’s quite gross and upsetting. I’ve seen this happen at Quickie Taco at least twice. Tonight, I experienced it again. It’s unfortunate because restaurants like this, who have been part of the community for decades, hurt the image of the community. They make the Bell Gardens community look more«dirty» and are a poor representation of how restaurants should be managed.

Well, the name says it all. They’re quick. But the food is nothing special. It’s like kitchen hot dogs and hot dog buns slapped together and warmed up. Burrito was just a white tortilla with basic ingredients you have in your fridge. It’s cool that it has a drive through. So just imagine a drive through kitchen and someone slapping together something for you. Lady there was a bit curt.

This place is old-school, cash only, totally original menu and mid-century style! Absolute BEST Mexican style fast food I’ve ever had! Classic old school burritos, tacos. Owners are amazing, hard working. They put heart and soul into every taco. Taco Quickie. Going strong for 51 years! Many more to come!

I’m a huge fan of hot dogs! And crunchy tacos! I’ve saw this place was one of the few with good reviews I’ve always wanted to give it a try and finally did. I kept it simple with a chili cheese dog, 2 tacos and fries. The place has an old school feel to it. They also Have a drive thru. service: okay, quick and easy 3 stars Food: great hot dog! The cheese was still perfectly melted and chilli was still in it’s place by the time I ate it. Unlike weinershnitzel the hot dog wasn’t soggy. 4 stars! Though, I really wish they had more variety on the dogs The tacos were so delicious! So much better than del or Taco Bell. Tasted like real ground beef! Fries. Nothing special still good price! Hot sauce lacks a little bit! Could be watered down less. Overall this place definitely will satisfy my hunger under a few bucks! Not mediocre, just simple, but tasty ingredients.
