Today I went in for a chicken veg bowl at 3:48 and did not get it til 4:05 the restaurant was full… dinner a mess with 2 young teenagers working the boy was very tall and fast the girl was small but adorable she was working fast too I feel bad because I snapped at her and she excused herself because she took long on the orders including mine and said thank you and sorry for taking long on your order she was getting frustrated and a lot of people complained I regret it now they we’re just doing their jobs its not their fault the manager /​owner only puts 2 people to work when it takes 4 or 5 to get the job done …

I’ve been here a couple of times now. The restaurant is pretty clean and the staff here are pretty nice ever time I come here. The food is pretty much on point. The kale salad I took a picture of, was really good. I’ll be coming back soon.

I used to love the salmon salad here. But they recently changed the lettuce, what they gave me looks sad and wilted and they don’t bother chopping the green onion anymore there are entire stalks in the onions. The salmon is still good and a good portion size but the rest was not good.

So after not stepping foot in this Waba Grill for a little more than year and a half I decided to come back and I must say the food was way better than the last time. I got my order fast and although the customer service was way better than the last time still needs a little improvement I don’t have any really big complaints. I really enjoyed my visit and hope to stop by again for the improved Waba Grill

I ordered the chicken plate, and the chicken was very disgusting, it is very dry and it looks like shredded chicken unlike the chicken at there other locations ! Would definitely not recommend this location

Who ever does the hiring here is an idoit! Server are rude when all were trying to do is get a decent meal. If they don’t like there job it’s not our fault, I understand it might not be what’s in store for their future but still be a decent human being at most. Thank you, your welcome goes a long way. I was there Friday night. A taller ish lady was was working, and she had no customer service at all. The food in the other hand was good so good job on the cooks on that.

The chicken at this location is disgusting. I love WaBa Grill in general but I’ve been here several times and the chicken is too dry and gross. Drowning it with teriyaki sauce didn’t even work.

The food is always good and fast. I ordered a veggie bowl, add chicken with avocado ON THE SIDE. I got a chicken veggie bowl instead. I asked if they could remove the rice to fix it. Not even asking a for a new bowl or anything. The employee, Karina Colato, said no because it wasn’t their fault we ordered incorrectly. I told her we weren’t asking for anything extra just no rice. She said she couldn’t do anything about it because to fix it they would have to throw away that bowl (and loose money). Mind you she still had the bowl in her hands we hadn’t touched it. We asked for a manager, and she gave us Corporates Number.
They would rather give us their Corporate Office Number instead of giving any kind of Customer Service. Very disappointed!

A very tasty and healthy choice for an area without many options beyond Mexican food, fast food, and Mexican fast food.
The menu consists of your choice of terriyaki beef, chicken, or salmon on top of rice, and a side of fruit and veggies. Very basic, but tastes fresh and delicious.

I. Absolutely. Love. Waba Grill!
Healthy eating and good price usually don’t go in the same sentence but Waba Grill figured it out. The salmon plate rivaled that of expensive sit down restaurants for a fraction of the price and the teriyaki sauce to go along with all of their options is to die for! I actually purchased a bottle for myself to take home lol (yes, they sell take-​home bottles of teriyaki sauce.)
I stop in this store multiple times a week and have never been let down by the service or quality, two thumbs way up and I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

This place does not offer a welcoming environment. The cashier that took my order today seemed as if I was there to interrupt their day. Only the cooks were decently energized and it just looks like a halfway run operation. This is how businesses lose money. Get these employees to provide customer service. I’m only giving two stars because the good was good but I usually choose different options for places to eat lunch due to the service.

I saw a number of pics on Instagram and got very curious about trying Waba out. One word sums up this «Teriyaki House»…wait for it… BLAND. I don’t get what all the buzz is for. It tasted like thawed out chicken that had one thin layer of teriyaki sauce. The service was good but the flavor was absent. Two thumbs down.

So this is an update on the magnificent worker they have. A diamond in the rough. Her name is Karen. She is the most Kawaii girl I have seen in a long time, maybe ever. She’s the most earnest sweetest and most attentive worker I’ve seen at a local fast food joint that pays minimum wage. She’s more than well deserved of a raise! I would just return to this establishment because of her. I just can’t believe she’s so enthralled in her work that to many is a waste of time and that «doesn’t pay enough». A true keeper ill tell ya

Their schedule online and on their Windows says they close at 10:30 so after work I was hungry and wanted something healthy rushed to this wabba grill I got here at exactly 10:17 and went inside and the girl said they were closed. I understand the girl might of wanted to go home but I thought that was uncalled for.

I just love Waba period and when I found out that they were opening one in Bell Gardens I was beyond excited.
Today was my first time stepping foot into this particular location and it won’t be the last. The restaurant was not packed at all, maybe because they just opened? whatever the case is, I’m happy.
I ordered their Chicken Plate (#2 on the menu) with brown rice… bomb! You also have the option of getting white rice and white meat chicken. I’m not much of a healthy eater (I know, I know, shame on me) but with restaurants like these, I enjoy the healthy side. No oil is used in their cooking, the food is cooked fresh to order, it’s high on protein, low on fat, low calories and let’s not forget the fresh veggies… waaaa? Sounds incredibly awesome to me!
Not only are you getting a bowl/​plate of deliciousness, you are also getting great friendly service. The employees are awesome!
