This place sucks… 20 dlrs for cover… oh my god… and 40 dlrs for plates … rude actitude. and also they let kids go in… wow never coming again… I prefer guadalajara grill

A family member convinced me to go back as he said he had heard many good things about this place. So we did, again the show was great, we ordered different plates being that it was a large group and ended up trying almost everything. Food was delicious, and drinks were okay. Overall the experience was much better than last time which is why I decided to update my review giving it five stars.

Cashier was rude. Made it seem like she ran the place. And was very short with me. we were willing to pay the 20 dollar fee to enter the restraunt but after the additude we decided we’d eat else where. also the plates are 40 dollars for a dinner. umm excuse me but the isn’t a high end place. Never coming. don’t bother coming here … san pedro is a better place to Hear mariachi.

I was in Los Angeles visiting some family and one of my aunts wanted to take us out for dinner and some dancing on the town. I said why not and went. We got there before 8 on Saturday so we wouldn’t pay the fee. It was about 15 of us but we got seating right away. We got our menus and I started to see what kind of food I wanted to get. Let me say their menu sucks so bad and the prices are over the roof. I was honestly waiting for the other half of the menu bc they don’t have many options. I gave up and ordered a margarita. The first margarita tastes super sweet and my second margarita tasted straight up like tequila. I decided to get a soda and I would have to say that’s the most expensive soda ever. I paid $ 6something for a tiny glass of soda which was mostly ice. Now when it comes to the show I found it very inappropriate. I found it somehow disgusting on what I heard. Yes I understand is a show but the language they were using was inappropriate for the children that were there. Then they talked so much about homosexually that I just found it very uncomfortable because they were not nice things. Over all everything was overpriced, the show was disturbing just because of the language and I honestly don’t think I would ever come back here if I ever am in town again.

Horrible service and its over pricey and the show its horrible never going back again

This review is solely on hidden fees and prices. I’ve never been to a RESTAURANT that charges a cover charge of $ 20 in addition to a service charge of $ 50 on a $ 350 check, not including tip.
This means that my party of 7 paid $ 190 just to sit at our table. The $ 50 service fee was not mentioned until the check was brought out, but they were very clear to let us know, it did not include tip.
A restaurant that charges you 2.50 for water!!!
The owners greed will impact your waiters tip.
I personally will never visit this place again.

Giving El Premier 4 stars… What a great place to seat back and take in a show and some good drinks, from the moment we walked in the show began… One pays for the show and not so much for food, and thats why i gave it 4stars. Needs to make salsa and chip (maybe put pico de gallo with your chip) yummy then i will add the final star… i will sure be back for sure… we had a ball dancing and taking in a show…

Ugly place the food is nasty and the drinks are way to expensive the charge for the service fee like wtf never again

The entertainment is great! Karaōke is great on Sundays! 5 stars for entertainment. Now wristbands on Sunday I believe were 25 or 30 dollars. At least 8 of us bought wristbands. I had at least 6 pina coladas, my friends and family had shots, jack and coke and the one that walked out more buzz was the one who drank beer. Not worth the wristband if the alcohol is diluted in their drinks. We were a large group and had two tables and two waitress’s, our waitress was great. The other tables waitress not so great. She brought out appetizers that were not ordered, thinking we might keep them since she brought them to the table. The manager was called, but didn’t care too much. We ended up paying 40 dollars on baked potatoes because someone did take a bite thinking some one in the group ordered them. The manager gave us a refund of 8 dollars. So if your going for the entertainment its worth it, just beware on their drinks!

Cuidado!!! Caution (English below)! Este lugar cobra un costo adicional sin que lo sepas!!! Fuimos dos parejas y el total de la cuenta fue alrededor 300.00 dolares. Cuando nos llego la cuenta notamos que se incluyeron casi 40 dolares y aparte dicen que la propina no esta incluida!!! Entonces ese cobro porque!!! Resulta que el aviso de un cobro «de servicio» aparece en un lugar en el menu, pero quien sabe donde. QUIEN VA A PENSAR EN BUSCAR UN AVISO fuera de lo comun como este, aparte de que se cobra la entrada??! Y aparte EN LO obscuro… El servicio estubo bien por oarte de la mesera, lastima que sucedio esto. Otra cosa que no me gusta es de que se permiten niños, pienso que el show habla de cosas muy sexuales.
This place includes a «service fee» in your bill and no, it’s not the gratuity! You dont know this until u get the bill… or find this unexpected language in fine print and in the dark somewhere on the menu. Our bill was 300 dollars and they charged close to 40 dollars for a service fee. You wont know about this unless u are walking in and purposely looking for it in the dark in the menu. by the way. Sucks for the waitress b cuz this unexpected fee takes from what shohldve been her tip… keep in mind u are also paying 20 dollars for cover.
I will be fair and say the show is good and so is the service, but they should really not allow kids, there. There are waaay too many sexual jokes in their acts for children.

El lugar esta muy bonito pero hoy recivimos un mal servicio, no habia muchos meseros y las mesas d atras no las atienden bien. La comida tarde mucho y ni chips con salsa nos ofresieron

probably the worst place on the face of earth. this is way too overpriced and service is horrible.

Drinks are overpriced and not effective at all.

The prices are high plus I got a service charge of $ 22. And it wasn’t the tip for the waiter. when the service is the worst. The manager (yanet) has a really bad attitude. Don’t waste your money.

Went for the imitator show in Febuary, when we called they verified that it was gonna happen. it Didn’t. Wasn’t a day for it and we had spoke to the so called «manager» earlier. My husband measured the loudness. It was as loud as a plane take off so yeah, it could cause permanent damage and on top of that we were charged a 20% fee added to the bill It was the entrance fee they said.

I visited this place on a Sunday. Not my first time, had been here years ago on a Saturday. I was excited to go again, but after reading the reviews, I did become a little hesitant. I ended up going as the Bday girl was excited to see the show. I have to say we were all pretty happy with our visit. It was 9 of us, mostly adults and one 12 year old (all ages allowed although don’t think all ages appropriate) we all had dinner, most plates are over $ 20-​$ 35, and maybe not 5 star quality but was good and I think that it’s worth it because the show is included and there was no cover. We ordered the Molcajete with steak, chicken and chorizo. And rice and beans. Was $ 34 but would feed 3 adults. My sis in law got stuffed shrimp with bacon and a really good stuffed potato. The drinks were really good and strong. We got a wristband for $ 30 we got there at 8:30 and had open bar til 12am. Which they only have on Thursdays and Sunday’s .There open bar works different as others, but still pretty cool and they use the good stuff. The imitators were so funny and the mariachi was good too. I will definitely go back, but more than likely on a Sunday

Good shows… on the other hand, the price does not match the service ! Not worth it !

Bad Customer Service Waited 15 – 20 mins to get a drink. With only 2 tables in the whole place! Ordered Guacamole. The Busboy dropped off the ingredients to make it but our waitress was no where to be found, so I got up and made it.
We ordered a bucket of MGDs and we noticed that they were so old the rim was rusted. We returned them. No apology was given. So no MGDs she says, if you want Budlights you have to pay the difference (the MGDs were less). We did.
Expect to pay around $ 17.00 for 2 Bud Lights. She said there was tax and service fee included. Yes, Service Fee. There were only 2 of us. Check out the drink prices, I took a picture. Bucket of Coronas was like $ 58.
Don’t get a tab. Pay as you go. She insisted we get a tab but we had already read the comments here. Thank You Unilocal!
The Entertainment was OK. their target audience is older 50+. Old Songs from Bukis.
Oh yeah, and Valet is about $ 5. Good thing we didn’t pay the $ 30 cover. Go on FB to avoid it. The open bar had big restrictions.

No lo recomiendo … Esta muy caro para no tener buen servicio… Este lugar no tiene el piso de baile en buenas condiciones todo el piso del lugar totalmente descarapelado y desnivelado … Hace algunos años avía alfombra en los pasillos pero ahora ni eso … El show si esta muy bien pero el lugar muy descuidado …
No sinceramente puedes encontrar algo mucho mejor por lo que se paga aquí. Fue horrible!

The show was great but the food and drinks are way overpriced for the quality but you have to pay for the show somewhere. My biggest complaint was with the seats and tables, they are very tight and you can’t sit our eat comfortable at all.

HORRIBLE SERVICE
Waited for an hour just for drinks (sodas and waters) After we placed our order we waited for another hour and a half before we got pissed off and told the server to cancel everything.
When we waited for valet we saw a drunken man in his truck asking us why we were leaving so soon. Turned out this dude was the owner of the place. We told him about our negative experience. This was pointless bc he was drunk so he pretty much didnt care at all. No apologies, no offer to make it right, nothing. He was just full of himself ranging about how awesome his place was. NEVER COMING BACK HERE EVER

Este lugar está bien feo. cobran la barra libre en 30 dls. y sólo puedes pedir bebidas cada 15 min pero eso no es lo peor. La mesera pasa cada media hora si bien te va y de malas océano que te Tomás una bebida cada hora. La música está más o menos. No lo recomiendo y no regresaría

If your mom is into Paquita La del Barrio and Mariachi. then this place is pretty awesome. The food is crazy expensive but pretty bad. The drinks are strong and the atmosphere is just like your Tia’s Mexican party where everyone is over 30, and the party doesn’t stop because their kids are now asleep. Lol
Anyway. Like I said if your mom or dad are into stuff like this, then give this place a shot. I might come back but only with my mother and only because the Mariachi is pretty good. Oh, and of course Paquita is the life of the party!
