Sorry but please get some better employees. Took me 22 minutes to get A HOT DOG. I didn’t have a lunch break, just a 15 minute break and sonic is a 30 second drive from my job. Don’t know how they managed to take so long. She opened the window and rudely asked me for my total. No please, no thank you, no have a nice day. Have yet to have a good experience with this place & I won’t be back to give them another shot.

Let’s start on a positive note with this place since the reviews are so bad but very accurate.
Hector the cashier was very sweet and helpful. He kept apologizing for things he had no control over. That’s the only positive thing I have to say about this place.
The ice cream machine was down which was very disappointing being that I drove from Brooklyn. So I didn’t get my ice cream so I got a hot dog, wings and fries which was just okay nothing special. I could of when to Burger King and got all that plus saved gas and toll fees, but instead I took the drive out to jersey for some sonic’s. When it comes to fast food just stick to what you already know is good. LESSON LEARNED! This review is just for this location. I have been to sonic’s in Florida & the Poconos and had good meals both times. So it’s not all sonic’s just this location the food wasn’t good at all. If your coming from New York to sonic’s because you keep seeing all those damn funny commercials then I say make the drive just not to this location. Choose wisely especially if your paying toll fees there’s other close by locations near New York this isn’t the only sonic’s.

I like the casual ambiance here at Sonic, I remember those old good memories when I was younger and we always come here and have that great burger that once sonic serves. But now, everything is lost. The good food and the great service, its all gone.
Its like Sonic never evolve and just went extinct.
No for Sonic Drive-​in for me.

Used to like their fast food until one day my husband and I went and I got the chocolate fudge sundae from the drive thru. I looked at my sundae and started laughing because it looked like a penis. I showed my husband and he laughed, but then we looked closer. There was a hair in it and it might have been a pube. Ewww, so disgusting. I called the manager and they offered to give me a new sundae. Not really apologetic and didn’t even say anything about reinstructing their employee. Who knows what else they do to the food.

Service us horrible took 15min in a drive thru for 2 hotdogs. They really need to speed it up its fast food for a reason.

Can I give negative stars? Where do I even begin? This was my first time trying sonic after hearing about them (I’m from NYC). Never going to try them again. Drive to the drive up place, ring, and hear they only do drive through. Fine. So I turn my car around and I place the order and when I pull up, five minutes later after charging me they tell me they don’t have the strawberry shortcake shake I ordered. Fine. I change to Oreo. At eight minute mark we finally get our food. Being hungry I parked nearby and started to eat. Or tried to. Boyfriend ordered a number 5 chicken sandwich without mayo. He opens it and it has mayo everywhere. Has to return it to the drive through window. Then I go to see if I have my BBQ sauce for my jumbo popcorn chicken. Nope. Boyfriend again has to return to drive through window for sauce. When I get my pretzel hotdog with grilled onions, I take a bite to notice a slickness that shouldn’t be there. They didn’t give me grilled. It was totally raw onions. At this point I gave up and said forget it. Boyfriend also reports that apparently they messed up on the orders of the following two cars behind us which backed up everything and caused cars three n four to get annoyed and start honking. What a crappy place. Never recommending this place ever. No one got comped anything either. Not even a single apology either. Total trash.
Oh and this took place at 9:20pm. Not even that late…

Hits the spot every time. The cheddar poppers are my fav and the cherry limeade is so refreshing. I live in Brooklyn so it’s a far drive for me but I do it anyway.

Really bad the microphone to load they don’t understand you even they everyday, and of course you don’t go everyday so you won’t understand them what they asking you, and they try hard but sonic management please do something to help when people arrive walking or parking the car they standing out there and it’s funny cause nobody knows what to do till someone tell to press the red bottom… I can go on and on. The food is very average and the only thing I really enjoy here are the drinks. they are some of my favorites especially due to all the various types. The happy hour specials are very good during the weekdays and Half price shakes at night are also good. No different than Burger King McDonalds Wendys etcetera in my mind.

I go here all the time because I live right over the bridge in NY. The food is good and they have so many cool, unique drinks. The staff is usually nice except for one time when the girl who took our order and brought our food was incredibly rude for no reason, but nonetheless I will still come here.

Literally called at 1:28 am to find out what time they close and they said kitchen closes at 15 minutes before closing at 2am. we drove there and arrived 1.36am and they turned the light off us and said they are closed. A car literally pulled up right bwfore us. But no. They claimed they were closed.
As we drove away, we called to ask them why that had happened and they claimed to not have noticed any customers. This was ridiculous.
I wish I could give 0 stars.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast yesterday morning. AWESOME. The young woman who was working was fantastic, she was very polite and even added some recommendations with adding a little caramel in my coffee. I’ll definitely be stopping back here again.

For being a fast food place, the food is pretty good. Tasty, inexpensive, and has a lot of options. I am a big fan of their slushes though really delicious.

Who can beat 8am burgers!!! All day menu… But not 24 hours… I almost made the mistake of coming here at 5am… So happy I didnt.
What could be wrong with fruit slushy with nerds… Burgers with jalapenos, sweet onion rings and tator tots… Freaking nothing… Its always amazing!!!
Love the carhops and thier friendly manner…

Today me and friends got sonic, and our service was fast and quick. Our server Shawn was very kind and he was patient. The food tasted pretty good, I mean fast food. The sonic blasts never disappoint!

5 Stars for the Pineapple Milkshake. Way over priced… UMMM GOOD. Go after 8 pm then it’s half price. Whip cream tastes like Non dairy Cool Whip.
Pass on the Awful franks. On a scale of 1 to 10 being the best Franks are –1 With the franks being so bad. I didn’t even try to try any of the other food items.

I was at Walmart and decided to stop here to grab lunch. I went through the drive-​thru and what a great experience I had. The guy taking my order was so polite and when I told him I didn’t want any onions on my burger he even offered to have them grilled. Now that’s great service and I even forgot I was at a fast food place.
I love Sonic’s so my food was excellent and I’m such a huge fan of their milkshakes.
I will be coming back anytime I’m in the area.

Best hangover food. Ever. We never actually drive, park, and order. Rather, we just go through the drive through. I mean, Sonic is one of the better tasting commercial fast food joints.
They are pretty cheap, which is a plus, too.

If I could give this Sonic location no stars I would.
Did you know that the little red light on the «press to order» buttons have a point when they timeout? I didn’t. And I experienced this TWICE. I pulled up, pressed the button and after about 3 minutes someone spoke through the intercom that they’d be right with me. No problem. But then I waited. After about 8 minutes total the light stopped blinking and reset. I waited a minute and I pressed it again. Nothing. I waited. I waved my hand outside my car. I looked around for anyone to acknowledge me. Nothing. All the while people using the drive-​through lane are getting served and moving on with no problem, so it seems it wasn’t an issue of lack of staff to serve, just an issue of lack of service.
Having not had Sonic since last summer, I was super excited to get one last slush and some tots before leaving the country for a while. But, sadly, after waiting nearly 20 minutes and being denied service I wasn’t about to give them more of my time or money. I left. Hungry. Annoyed. Lacking tots.

Tried Sonic for the first time today and I must say, their place is so adorable! The waiters would rollerskate to you, it feel like when fast food first became popular and such. They’re also having promotions between 2 – 4 PM, ice teas and shakes are half off! I ordered a #5, something chicken toaster (?). The Peach Sweet Ice Tea and the tots and sandwich is good.
