Love this place. From New Orleans to BR. Thank you for this location. The food is cooked fresh to order. Hot wings, regular fries and that pineapple lemonade… Smh… Can I get some right now, please!

I liked everything I had here. The wings are really good. I had huge expectations for the fries with ranch on them but they were just ok. Quite a few of my fries were lukewarm. I thought the hot sauce would have been hotter but it was still packing a little punch. It was very vinegar. I would definitely come back if I was craving wings. They are some of the best that I’ve had in Baton Rouge

This place is fantastic. We wanted to order the entire menu, but we ordered 15 wings(Sweet Heat and Roasted Garlic) and the Cajun ranch fries. The wings were perfect. The Sweet Heat were perfectly wet and the dry rub Roasted Garlic had great flavor, crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. The Cajun Fries were messy but delicious. We also got the Ghetto Juice and Pineapple lemonade which were both super sweet, but delicious. The staff was very friendly, the cashier had great customer service and made some good suggestions. She even let us try her special ‘Holiday Surprise’ drink. Even though the place is simple, the food was quick, hot and DELICIOUS. Definitely worth going to for good chicken wings.

I recently stopped by as I had a craving for wings and I saw the open sign and it called me like beacon! Upon approaching the ordering window, I was warmly greeted by both people working. I ordered a 10-piece with 3 flavors(it comes with two flavors, but I wanted to experiment so I sweet talked my way into three without fee) and blue cheese. The flavors I tried were the Sweet Heat, Lemon Pepper, and Shack. As I waited for my wings to fry up, the nice lady there popped of the window with a basket of nachos with cheese and chili and said«Here! Snack on these while you wait!» Alright… free food… I’m not questioning that! The wings were delicious! They were very meaty and nicely cooked… not dry like a lot of wings can get if overcooked. The Sweet Heat and the Lemon Pepper flavorings are WINNERS! The Shack… ummm…kind of just tasted like All Spice… it was weird… but when covered in Blue Cheese… delish! Now, the blue cheese… good lord was it good… I would sip on their blue cheese and be a happy camper. Overall, my experience here with their service and their product was VERY positive. I will come back in the future. They have a new offering, the Gumbo Sandwich… I MUST try it!

Best wings in BR! Skip those other wing spots and head straight for the Wing Shack. Ordered over phone and customer service was absolutely awesome! Allowed us to try flavors for future orders and the New House Ranch fries were just heavenly!!! They are really on to something at this spot!

I think Wing Snack is so good! It’s not at all on the healthy side so I try not to go often, lol. But usually I get the ten piece wings hot flavored with Cajun ranch fries and a «ghetto punch». I am a sucker for some wings! The wings are great they are very delicious, juicy, spicy & so mouth watering. The Cajun ranch fries are the best ever. I ordered plain fries once and they messed up my order and I ended up with Cajun ranch fries. And I’m not one to complain so I ate them. Omg BESTTHINGEVER! I was like oh yes and I’ve been hooked ever since. The«ghetto punch» is pretty good too, taste very similar to the punches that people would make for say a baby show of some sort. Today I ordered the crawfish balls, upgraded my fries from plain to Cajun ranch fries(of course) & a tropical berry drink. The balls were great they were filled with crawfish flavor you could taste the spice but not over doing it. There are little piece of seasoning like onions inside as well. Very tasty! The punch I had never had that kind before it was pretty good tasted more like a kool aid type of drink. And I hate kool aid so I would recommend the«ghetto punch» for sure! They are pretty pricey but it’s so worth it. This place is more of an order and go. Not much room to sit and seating is outside under the pavilion.

This place is a little known gem. It’s a little expensive, but you do get a lot of food. I usually get a 10-piece BBQ with a side of Cajun ranch fries. The wings are big and they don’t slack on the sauce. The Cajun ranch fries are a fat man’s dream. They’re seasoned with a dry Cajun seasoning then tossed in ranch dressing. The pineapple lemonade is delicious. I haven’t tried the ghetto punch yet. The only knock I have on the place is that there are no descriptions by the sauces. Usually when I go only a couple of people are working and the line moves quick, I didn’t wanna hold everyone up asking«uhh what does that ones taste like?» They used to have a $ 10 lunch special that was 10 wings, fries and a drink. Now it’s just 7 wings, and might have even gone up in price. Overall, it’s solid. I’ve been 4 or 5 times to pick up food at lunchtime and it’s always been good.

Extremely salty, don’t get the lemon pepper it was salt on top of salty chicken. The sweet heat was pretty decent but the fries tasted not only old but were cold. Lastly, the fried okra was soggy and like everything else, salty. Overall we were not satisfied.

After driving by this little wooden store many times, I finally got curious and stopped by. There is a menu posted outside and you order outside at a window(no indoor seating). The menu is pretty simple(I posted it here), and I decided to get cajun fries and fried okra to go. Both were great, though the okra could have had some seasoning in the batter– it was a little bland. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely stop by for some more fries. The woman working inside was also extremely friendly, which made my visit extra pleasant!
