The food is good, but they store piles of raw meet at room temperature right behind the counter near prepared food, not even covered by anything. Looks like a food hazard to me.

I love to cook. I love to drink wine. I love to drink wine with a great meal. What to do when you have an amazing bottle of Malbec sitting at home just screaming out for some wood fired carne, but you live in a building that prohibits barbecues? I used to import wines from Argentina and spent the last five+ years of my life drinking a lot of Malbec and big juicy South American red wines. Of course the foods that go with those wines are barbecued meat– chicken, steak, chimichurri, sausage. It was my first visit to Argentina that I discovered what exactly is a true parrillada… the chicken, the blood sausage, the sweetbreads… and this is what I sometimes crave with my malbec. I used to frequent La Estancia Argentina, also down the street, for my parrillada fix. However, their service is somewhat brusque(I do speak a little Spanish but I usually get a rolled eye or two when I order from there which isn’t super welcoming) and lately their portions have been small for what you pay. So I took a chance and ordered the parrillada plate from Tango Grill. Low and behold it was exactly what I wanted: a few pieces of chicken thighs, steak(ny strip), sweetbreads, sausage and blood sausage, and comes with two sides. I usually go for the steamed veggies(nothing special but decent) and mashed potatoes(homemade). This will last me two days, if I have a friend over it’s ample for sharing. It’s about $ 22 and large portions. I always receive service with a smile and it’s fairly fast as well. They usually look at me twice when I say yes please when they inquire if I want the morcilla(blood sausage) and sweetbreads, but I guess I look like the girl who would more likely be eating salmon(see my Ikea review). No, this isn’t exactly how the day-long feast your Tio from Argentina would taste after stoking his fire to the exact temperature for hours, but it’s pretty darn good and cuts of meat you don’t see everyday. I can’t always justify buying a package of blood sausage at the store(I live alone) because I know I’m not going to eat the whole thing. This way I get a taste of everything and don’t even have to do dishes! Who would have thought this quality of food could come from a food court!
