EVAN IS A ROCKSTAR!!!
Just moved down from NYC to the Aventura/​Hollywood Florida area and to be honest was bummed out I may not get the stores I’m used too. This shopping area is beautiful and tasteful and the Williams Sonoma store is better than the NYC one!
Why you ask… because of the manager there… Evan! He’s a total rockstar on all levels. He’s a trained chef so he knows exactly what works and can guide you based on your cooking styles and foods you love. I learned so much from him but his customer service is truly second to none.
He’s ALWAYS available to his customers… knows us all by name… he’s personable, knowledgeable and so courteous I can’t tell you how much I appreciate sales and service like that. I had purchased a ton of All Clad and throughout the boxes. Then I went to register online my products and they required the SKU #‘s from the boxes which are different from the one’s on the receipt. I was floored and brought my problem into Evan… during the holiday season… I’m surprised he didn’t kill me but he simply asked if he could have sometime to work on my very long list in between the craziness. He did and emailed them to me and I was so surprised he even remembered as busy as he was.
Evan is a ROCKSTAR on all levels and worth the ride to get his unique and very indepth insight to cooking from a Chef! Love also to all the ladies supporting his staff. They are all professional and absolutely lovely. I wish I could remember all their names but I hope the know how much this customer appreciates them all!

Ahhh… this store can calm my nerves.
We registered for our wedding here and as the gift cards were just about to fade we ran in this weekend to pick up a dutch oven. As many know, the Aventura Mall on a Saturday after lunch is freakin’ hectic. This store was packed also, a line of 2 – 3 customers for the two open registers and two employees on the floor.
As we picked up the requested/​required dutch oven and brought it to the counter, we were quickly acknowledged. When our tour finally arrived, I inquired about an online price because I believed I saw something cheaper online. Long story short, after 10 minutes of helping us search online, in the store, we concluded it might be cheaper to order online. So the store gets $ 13 out of me and big smiles. This is how service is supposed to be, take care of the customer’s needs with a friendly face. CHECK!
Online, another woman, kept the search up and in the end with a registry discount and shipping included, a $ 230 5qt oval dutch oven came to $ 190. Worth all the effort to save that $ 40 and the staff of Williams Sonoma proved that they are a classy store with some classy staff.
And my $ 13 pitter is great, I pitted 2.5 lbs of cherries that night for a cherry granita… mmm with almond extract, it’s so soo good.

As some of you know, this is one of my favorite stores to visit. They have the best quality items for your kitchen or backyard cooking, for your table and for your oven. No matter where I am, if there’s one of these stores I just HAVE to go inside and, more often that not, bags come out with me :). Stopped by yesterday afternoon just to «check things out» and hubby ended up carrying a couple of bags with «stuff» for my use and for my family and friends to enjoy.
If you’re a cook or for a gift for someone you know who loves to cook, this is the perfect spot. People there are always nice and attentive and any one of them will answer any questions and give you the help you need. Go ck it out, you’ll love it!
