Food, was ok. Service was bad. The one at Merrick Park is way better. Not worth the trip. Much better places around here.

Just so happened to be in the mood for soup so I stopped into Nordstoms Café Bistro and ordered the crab bisque and a sparkling water while the bf ordered spanish lemon egg drop(I think thats what it was called) and a side of fries with dipping sauce. My crab bisque was EXACTLY what I wanted. In fact, not only did it not disappoint, it exceeded my expectations. Service was super friendly, our server’s name was Ryan. He was quick as well. Definitely worth stopping in for a quick bite. Its like Panera where you order and pay at the register but uou get a waiter too.

The workers that were there when my mother and I went to purchase a snack were quite rude. And as we walked away I happened to look back and catch them gossiping about us. VERY unprofessional.

BESTBESTBEST crab bisque. It’s seriously addictive. The aioli sauce that comes with the fries must have some sort of addictive drug, I can’t have just one serving. The white chocolate pudding melts in your mouth and your taste buds have a party. Get ready to spend $ 25-$ 35 dollars on lunch, but oh is it worth every cent.

The food was decent, but the service was horrible. It took about an hour to get a sandwich, and the waitstaff was rude and hostile. I’d recommend going elsewhere.

I really like coming here when I go shopping to the Aventura mall. I usually have a soup and a salad. Food is always fresh. The only con is the huge line at the door. You can’t make reservations so it’s better to go at less popular times.

This place is always busy. You can never go wrong service is top notch and the food is always really good. Whenever I come down to have lunch with my wife I always think about coming over here to get their steak sandwich French dip it is fantastic. My wife brought a coworker that has been going to that restaurant as well for a long time and even he vouches for the French dip.

Still the best place to eat in Aventura mall. Try their specials, always delicious and very creative. Today it’s a chicken ceasar and prime rib sandwich. Also very good.

I went there exclusively for the bread pudding since I heard so many good things about it… it definitely is amazing! The location is kinda weird, it’s inside the Norstrom on the second floor. The place is nice and cozy.

As written before, this place is consistent… They have a not h above average food all the time… Today my prime rib sandwich was over cooked, but will try again… Maybe a bad day!!! All the rest was as planned! Service is also on the positive side and the place is clean. Salads are above average and they are in most cases tasty and well prepared. They are famous for their shoe string fries(not a big fan of fries) and they do look good! Ice tea is above average. Enjoy

Great spot for lunch. There always seems to be a line, but that’s only because you have to order before you’re seated. Service is ok, nothing great about it, and it’s not terrible. Food comes out at a good pace. It’s never super quick, but they don’t have ridiculous waits either. Food-wise, I was pretty surprised as I was expecting something similar to Panera and this was much better. Fresh ingredients are key. * Sweet Potato & Jalapeño as well as Crab Bisque are good. * Hummus appetizer is also spot on. * Pizza Margherita was surprisingly good as well. * Roasted Salmon & Herbed Mushroom Risotto is great. Salmon was cooked perfectly, and I loved that you could taste the lemon in the risotto. Definitely will be going back for more.

I recently went to the Aventura Nordstrom café with a friend for dinner before a movie. The food and service were excellent. I got the salmon nicoise salad and it was delicious. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because it is not a typical sit down restaurant — you pay at the register before you are seated.

How i found out about this place was cool. My mom and i were in the store and this young man came around with samples of this particular pizza and it was so good. So the next time we stopped by the café and order the«margarita pizza» it is on the pricey side. Also the portions are small for the pizza so if you’re sharing by two. They’re just that good.

Classy, sophisticated, somewhat pricey, but definitely worth it. This gem is tucked away on the second floor of Nordstrom in Aventura Mall. The ordering process was interesting and different, I feel like it was extremely efficient! You place your order when you walk in, they seat you at a table, and bring your meal course by course. I had the tomato basil soup as an appetizer, followed by a salad with sliced steak on top, and bread pudding for dessert. THEBREADPUDDING… TRYIT!!! The service is impeccable, and the food is out of this world. I work in a building near the mall and this is turning out to be a dangerous discovery.

I finally got the chance to stop by for lunch with a friend after a shopping session. I’d heard all of the great praises for their food, but had never actually gotten around to trying it out until last week. There was a good amount of people in the bistro on a weekday afternoon, nothing too crazy though. We grabbed the menus located in the front and lingered there, indecisive, for a few minutes. There was quite the plethora of enticing options staring back at us. I ended up ordering the cilantro lime shrimp salad and the bistro fries. My friend’s choices were the french onion soup and the margherita pizza. We were promptly seated and our drink choices were taken down. Not too long after, our food started arriving. The french onion soup was delicious, not overly salty and generously topped with croutons and cheese. The fries were crispy and skinny(much to my delight) and the kalamata olive aioli complemented them perfectly. The cilantro lime shrimp salad was my favorite item of the afternoon, with a heavenly dressing, crispy tortilla strips, and flavorful shrimp. The margherita pizza had a tasty crust and the perfect balance of cheese, tomato, and basil. We were stuffed by the end of the meal, taking two slices of pizza to-go. I was sad we didn’t have room for dessert, I’ll be sure to try the bread pudding on another visit though! This is a great place to grab lunch with some company after shopping! The food is delicious, the service is relatively quick, and the staff is very nice. My only quibble about this bistro is that the prices are a tad bit steeper than what I’m used to paying for lunch, so I’ll only stop by from time to time. However, the food is absolutely worth the money!

Ahhh… Boy, Do I love Nordstrom! It is quite possibly one of my most favorite places. Shoes, Handbags, Sunnies & Skin Care Products. Oh My! Add a fab Café/Bistro on top of that and I am truly in my happy place! I have been to many Nordstrom Café’s, Bistro’s, Etc. and each and every one of them has been Spot on! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile and a friendly face. After ordering at the counter, being seated and having someone attend to you immediately. We are off to a great start(Great customer service goes a long way and earns and A+ in my book). I have my favorite dishes at each location(and each meal brings me back to each state we’ve lived in). But at this locale. My fiancé swears by the Panini’s and yummy fries, but for me. It’s The Steak and Arugula Salad(zucchini, white beans and roasted tomatoes) w/a refreshing glass of white wine! I get it every time and have never tried anything else(at this location). I crave it on a weekly basis. But let’s face it. If I went to Nordstrom on a weekly basis. I would be broke(but on the upside. I would have most amazing wardrobe)! A fab place to stop in while shopping. Especially for a Ladies Lunch! Now. Who wants to come with me!!!

We had been shopping for six hours, my friends and I.(What a work out!) And we were STARVING. And dealing with crazy tourists right after Christmas? Man we went to the Cheesecake Factory and… well, you’ll see the review. Anyway, the Bistro wasnt full or crazy. It was chic and calm and dimly lit. It was the perfect place to chill and relax and eat after dealing with the absolute stress of a work day’s worth of shopping.(Note my semi sarcasm) I ordered the Salmon with Mushroom Risotto. Becca ordered the Crab Bisque, Bianca B. ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Salad and Vicki ordered the Margherita Pizza. We all had Arnold Palmers for drinks. My salmon was the star of the table. It was cooked perfectly, seared and seasoned to the gawds, and that risotto with the crisp, fried mushrooms… that chef knows what he’s doing. My friends really enjoyed their food. At the end, Bianca had said«you know its good when you’re scraping the last bits up.» And thats exactly what we all were doing. We had a great time eating there. Definitely will think of the Bistro next time we shop in Aventura Mall.

Come here often and it usually has been decent. The good times: service was ok and food was tasty. We usually get sandwiches and fries. The olive dipping sauce is my favorite. Bad times: once they left the wax paper that separates the chicken or the cheese(not sure which) in my sandwich. So I took a nice healthy bite and could not completely bite through my sandwich. I have a very low tolerance for things like this when I’m eating. My gag reflex is on point and I really had to hold back. We told the waitress and they brought me a new sandwich. Like I ever wanted to eat that again. In an attempt to fix their problem, they offered us a free dessert, which was awful lol. Needless to say I won’t be back for a really long time. Another time the panini machine wasn’t working.

Where there is shopping AND food, there’s a good time! I started coming here only 2 years ago. I thought«how good can a restaurant inside a department store be?» I was in for a surprise. Great sandwiches, and oooh those skinny fries! They’re dangerous but oh so good. The Kalamata Olive dip is delish! I actually spread it on my Citrus Turkey sandwich, and dip my crispy seasoned fries in it… I wish they sold it in a jar. I’d totally take one home with me. Crab bisque soup is also very good. A must try if you haven’t tried it already. If you’re shopping and get those hunger pangs, stop by!

This is definitely Nordstrom’s best kept secret! Hidden on the 3rd floor near Top Shop! The food is delicious. The atmosphere is quiet — definitely not nearly as loud as the Food Court. I love to go here to sit and sulk in the mellow energy. Food is absolutely delicious! Their baked bread(before the meal) is incredibly good. Be sure to ask your waiter for bread and butter while you await your meal. Avoid on weekends during lunch hours.

The crab bisque is a MUST! It is like you have never tasted it before! Chunks of crab meat and a delicious crostini to accompany it! The cup is perfect to pair with a salad or even a sandwich if your hungry! Also love the paninis and sandwiches, specially the chicken. The fries are really good and although it is kind of a dark little place I love stopping by every time I go to the mall. The other must is the white chocolate bread pudding! OMG I’m not a fan of bread puddings and this one I’ll order it every time! also the crème brûlée is nice. No good coffee though so you can have coffee downstairs at the same store!

I give this a solid 4 stars based on what it is… a good option for dining while shopping. With options ranging from salads to sandwiches to salmon, everyone can find something to enjoy. I had the chicken club which was pretty tasty, served with shoestring fries accompanied with a kalamata olive aioli. The bread was good and crunchy(scraped the top of my mouth but delicious nonetheless) and the fries were addicting! We split the Mediterranean hummus flatbread which I felt was improperly named, it should have just been called pita and hummus, as that is what it was! Regardless of the fact that it wasn’t a flatbread on the traditional sense, it was wonderful hummus and tasty kalamata olives. The service was on spot, constantly refilling water and checking on us. Although I won’t drive out of my way to dine here, the next time hunger strikes while shopping, it’s a great alternative to the food court, and an even better excuse to keep me in Nordstrom for been longer!
