My personal favorite… hard to decide. I like the Armadillo Dog, Bleu Slaw Dog and the Bevo Dog. Really all of the dogs are awesome! Have been several times and never left hungry or dissatisfied with anything!

Coming from the east coast I have found hot dogs here to be really really bad. Like catastrophic bad. Fixins like sauerkraut, brown mustard, Sabrett onions like you get from the carts in NYC just dont exist here. People put ketchup, KETCHUP on hot dogs and Frenches yellow#53 mustard and other abominations. I shudder… Even at the Dell Diamond you cant get anything other than yellow mustard, alien-fuel-cell green relish, RAW onions and… ketchup. So I was very pleased to see that this this place has a proper dog and options of Polish, beef etc. And the fixins are all there less the Sabretts onions but that’s really only going to be weirdos from NYC that demand that. Still, maybe keep a jar around? People would like it. The dogs are nice, boiled as they should be, the buns are fresh but I’d prefer them from local bakeries rather than bagged HEB ones. Not that they arent good buns, they are but Austin has so many local amazing bakery goods options. Portions of fixins are good too. i had a 70’s afro of kraut on my dog which is what i wanted. Drinks are the selection they should be, orange Crush, mexican coke, water, sprite and 2 others. I’d like to see Sweet leaf in there but again thats a me things and I wont ding them for it. They will get a 5 if they offer some local meat and bakery goods. Still, a 4 is solid.

My co-worker and I just ate at That HotDog Stand. I had the Polish Dog, it was very good! kraut was nice, mustard kinda spicy, and the dog was snappy. Great Job Shawn!
