This place is exactly what I need. I don’t want to drink shite Starbuck’s coffee, but with two babies I must have a drive thru. So, here is Sorrento’s, I’ve driven by it 574 times and finally stopped. The coffee was good, the barista offered a rewards deal which is awesome, asked if I wanted animal crackers for my toddler, and had dog bones for my dog. When I’m on my own this is the place I’ll be stopping for coffee. They had a pretty extensive drink menu that I’ll certainly be checking out as time goes on.

I had a little extra time before work to stop by and snag a coffee so I decided to give Sorrento’s another shot. Again, the ladies there were super nice and this time I was blessed by the coffee gods and was behind only one car *PRAISETHEECOFFEEGODS* Unfortunately, so far it’s been 2⁄3 lattes I’ve ordered that have tasted burned and not at all like the flavoring I requested. Their special today was a combo of the toasted marshmallow and almond, sounds delish, right? I’m sipping it now and it just tastes like a slightly sweetened burned latte. Sigh. I was hoping to like this place, thinking maybe it was a fluke last time. Two out of three is enough for me to perhaps look elsewhere for my coffee.

Stopped in here the other day while the family was out and about. Oh dear. In a few words… Delicious, friendly, handmade, LOCAL. We all ended up loving this place. They serve Ruta Maya coffee(which is my favorite), so I was especially happy about that. They make banana bread(omg it is SO incredibly delicious). Zucchini bread, cookies(the chocolate chip is amazing), breakfast sandwiches/croissants, they also serve Taco deli tacos. Everyone was extremely friendly and the food they bake is mouthwatering. We ordered 2 coffees, 1 hot chocolate, 2 chocolate chip cookies, 1 Banana bread. The bread is incredible. We wanted a loaf, but by the time we went back, they were closed. That’s ok. We will be back. Great location for us, too. Not too far out of the way. Prices are extremely modest for so many organic, local, and handmade items. Love this little joint!

Wow, I just left this place, took a drink of my Americano, and pulled my car over to write this review. I’ve lived in north Austin my entire life and have never been here. This coffee just changed my life, the roast is to die for, it blew me away. I’ll never, ever, go to a Starbucks again. Rock on guys, you’re doing it right! You just gained a lifer.

I have been to this location twice. Today I ordered an iced, dirty chai latte and a sausage jalapeño cheese kolachi. Both were delicious and served up quickly by a very friendly lady. If I’m in the area and need caffeine, I’ll stop here to get it.

Love these guys. The coffee is good. They’ll remember your order. If you’ve got a dog, they’ll have dog biscuits, and if you’ve got a kiddo, they’ll have animal crackers. It’s the little things, y’all.

I’ve driven by this place many many times as my mother in law lives in the area and I finally stopped by. I ordered what I normally get at other coffee shops. I got a large and was very surprised on the size of the beverage! You can definitely get larger coffees than most places and still be comparable in price to others! I enjoyed my coffee and I’m hoping to try this place again.

Pretty cool — a drive thru coffee joint. But runs out of breakfast tacos pretty early. She said they usually take down the sign when they run out, but today we waited ten min in drive thru to find out they were out :/(the tacos are from taco deli; $ 2.60)

Great place! I got the Toasted Almond latte last time. Yum! Friendly barista. Definitely swing by to get your caffeine fix if you’re in the neighborhood.

Such a fun little stand with the sweetest people! I’ve never encountered a line here or long wait. Can expect the same quality that you would receive at any local shop and love how convenient it is! Almond poppyseed muffins are great and liked their chai!

I love this place. I love my girls! The baristas here are on point and handle a busy day with grace. I have never gotten a wrong order, or bad drinks here. They are quick with good recommendations once they know you and your style of caffeine intake. Join the coffee club and if you’re a fiend like me you get a free coffee about every week and a half. I can not say enough good things about this little coffee gem.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but if I was I could see myself coming here pretty often. It’s a little shack in the middle of a parking lot. Park and walk up to the window or use the drive-thru. Cute. There was only one person working there when I went on a Sunday morning, so it can take a few minutes to get your order. But when I took my first sip of my iced chai latte, I was like«dayum, that’s good». It was so delicious and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweet and spice. I’m smitten. They have a good selection of drinks and a ton of flavored syrups if you’re into that. They also have food: a variety of pastries and a few TacoDeli tacos. I haven’t tried any from here but if I wanted to spoil myself with some breakfast on the go, I now know to come back.

This place is incredible! The two amazing women who work here make the best coffee I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, one has moved on to bigger and better things, but the quality of coffee and customer service is still great! Definitely recommend checking this place out instead of going to Starbucks. Shop local! And the butter pecan latte is on point.

Espressocino is creamier and smoother than a Starbucks frappucino. Toddy can be sour sometimes. Join the card club for a free drink.

LOVE this place! Great local business! Rad chicks work there and they have a coffee club like another chain coffee shop we all know. I grabbed a large iced coffee for work tonight and it’s HUGE! I’m totally ok with that though! Also the chocolate chip cookie was pretty much just like my moms so there’s that as an added bonus! Pretty sure I found my new coffee spot on this side of town!

Love love love this place! I work right across the street from this little shack and I usually make a pit stop before I head in to work. The employees are always so sweet. My faves from here are the iced Americano and the iced chai tea. The prices are very reasonable and the service is quick. A helpful tip: if there is a long line for the drive thru, I would recommend ordering at the window. Service is much faster that way. They also serve breakfast tacos from Casa Chapala, and other muffins and pastries. Also, they have a membership and if you sign up you receive your 10th drink free. You just need to let them know when you order your drink that you are a member so they can notate your membership in their system. If you’re in the area and would like a quick pick me up on the go, this is your ideal place!

«Black Magic» is a hit. The perfect of blackberry, kahlua, baileys and espresso, I believe. The baristas are friendly and professional.

This adorable coffee shop is perfectly located across from one of the busiest Starbucks locations in my area. I started frequenting this shop when I moved from south Austin to north central Austin, and decided to expand my horizons. The lattes are amazing and I love how easy and non-intimidating their menu is. Although I do feel the customer service has varied over the years, I am pleased with how quickly this shop can knock out those orders. I tend to only swing by on my late mornings, as I sometimes open up shop before the sunrise and have been told that they get their breakfast tacos in a little later than I was hoping for. This girl doesn’t wait around for her tacos. That being said, if you are looking for a quality cup of coffee with some Austin charm that still holds true to the easy menu of a chain coffee house, Sorrento’s has it all.

This place is great! It’s such a better alternative than Starbucks which usually has a line out the parking lot at 8am so I’ll choose Sorrento’s over that any day! It also has a walk up option but I usually just get in the car line. It’s never too long of a wait. I usually get green tea and honey with one of their muffin-whiches(sausage or bacon) and it’s pretty good. I definitely recommend going here!

Great coffee and friendly staff! Cute to boot! Prices are good and the coffee is always Hot. Not many options in the hood here but a great locally owned spot. Better than Starbucks for sure.
