Are you in the mood for some noodles? If so don’t come here! They closed.

I can’t believe they just closed all of the Austin/Killeen Tx locations with no warning. What do they propose to do with customers who have unused gift cards. The food was good, but it seems kind of shady to skip town in the dark of night. #Noodles&Company

Are all the locations for Austin closed? We were going to order at the one at Northcross today and the internet says there are none within 25 miles of us, and we work on Anderson Lane! Also, their phone is disconnected. If it is, it’s such a shame. We enjoyed their food and the employees are all so nice!

If I remember correctly, I LOVED this place when it first opened up. I’ve gone twice now in the last month and tried 3 different dishes. First off, the place is clean and the people that work here are beyond friendly. Those things aside, the food is now kind of meh. I had the Indonesian Peanut Noodles, supposedly spicy but I didn’t get any heat whatsoever. It was just OK. Next I got two meals to bring to work for a few days worth of dinner. I got the Soba noodles and Pad Thai. The soba was just OK and the Pad Thai the next day were dry and just kind of gross. For what it’s worth, it’s great for bland palates and kids. It’s an easy option and their new entrees where they sub spinach for noodles sounds like a great idea! It’s not terrible but far from great.

Had Japanese pan noodles with steak. There was more steak than I expected which was good. Overall, the food rates between OK and good, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Friendly staff, quick and tasty pasta, a good selection of options, and moderately priced for portion size. Not the greatest pasta around but definitely a great lunch option for a quick bite. The parm crusted chicken was pretty good as well.

For fast food this place is good. You can add a side salad for $ 1.25. Plus the staff on Anderson location are always very friendly.

I ordered to-go food, noodles etc drive home and the noodles didn’t make it in the bag. I call the store to ask for a refund for what didn’t make it in the bag, speak to «general manager» Mercer Bullock, and he refuses to give me a refund, telling me it’s «illegal» to give someone a credit card refund over the phone. Pretty sure there is no such law. Needless to say, I won’t be back. What side salads were in the bag sucked. As far as I’m concerned this place is a rip off and a fraud, who screws over and inconveniences customers and refuses to refund their money for food never even give to them???

I’ve always been satisfied while eating in at Noodles & Co, so I ordered pickup for the office today. First warning sign: I had to go over the order three times before it was correct. Luckily, everything was correct when I picked it up. But unfortunately, the guys let me know that the egg noodles in the Steak Stroganoff were very undercooked. Also, there was literally a half an inch of grease/oil at the bottom of my Alfredo MontAmore. Short story? Don’t order out… stay there so that if anything is wrong, you can insist it be corrected on the spot. Not worth making a repeat drive.

Tonight was my first experience at noodle and company. My intention was to actually go next-door to the sandwich place. Luckily for me their computers were down and they could not take orders. I had the buff pesto bowl and a friend had the Japanese noodle dish. Our kids all had the mac & cheese as well as the tomato bisque soup. Everything was delicious; I was pleasantly surprised as I did not think I was going to like the food. The customer service was awesome, they gave us some freebies to be nice because it was our first time there. I am absolutely going to return again and again… two thumbs up for noodle and company even though you should rethink the name!

Comfort food – Asian fusion & Italian. Weird combo right? You pick noodles/pasta then add soup or salad — or you can order the sandwich combo, which comes with a soup or salad. I ordered the Steak Stroganoff— marinated steak, mushroom sherry cream sauce, fresh herbs, cracked pepper, sautéed mushrooms, egg noodles and parmesan. DELISH. My fiancé got The Med– grilled chicken, mushrooms, spinach, red bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, zippy Med dressing, cilantro and feta on flatbread with their signature chicken noodle soup — chicken breast, celery, carrots, onion and wavy egg noodles. Pretty good. Chicken noodle soup doesn’t have your typical chicken noodle broth –kinda tastes like the pasta soup at Cici’s Pizza. They also have potstickers, flatbread, and garlic bread as appetizers.

Awesome noodles and affordable prices, solid value. I come here for dinner just before dancing the night away next door. Extra points for structuring meat separately from the dishes. I ordered the Japanese Pan noodles with marinated steak. The meat here is extra, which I think is a great business model. If you’re a vegetarian, you’re gonna love this place. The noodles were deliciously chewy and seasoned well. The veggies were cooked well with a hint of that fresh grill char. The steak was tender and tasty. This is a great compromise between fast food and a sit-down restaurant, very casual and still a delicious meal.

If you’re a fan of a good case of the runs at work, you should eat here for lunch. This place got me twice(shame on me) as well as co-workers. Not recommended. Just another pre-fab franchise. Go to phonatic around the corner and get the 507. Forget this place.

Cool option for a quick carb fix. I came twice in one week to take advantage of a promotion. Round 1, I tried the pesto with the parmesan-crusted chicken and it could’ve been more pestoy(I swear I’ve said this in about 5 different reviews) but no complaints overall. Round 2, I tried the Penne Rosa and it was quite good — creamy tomato sauce, mushrooms, and amazing feta. I thought the portion sizes were fair, I always had leftovers to take home. The best part is that they have to go boxes sitting out so that there are minimal social skills required. Additionally, it’s counter service, there’s a fancy soda machine, and everyone was insanely friendly.

Noodles & Company really deserves 3.5 stars. I really like how their menu features a small and large size for noodle dishes and soup. I also enjoyed how they displayed the number of calories in each dish. My friend liked that their fountain drink machine had a wide variety of choices and allowed adding flavoring. I ordered the small vegetarian Pad Thai. She had the Penne Rosa with chicken. We both thought the food was okay, but nothing extremely special. My portion was so small, it was comical. I’m a small person, but still felt hungry after eating it. Really, it’s more of a kid’s portion. The larger size wasn’t much better. The Penne Rosa was actually quite spicy, although that’s not listed on the menu. The service was good, but the tables could have used a wiping down. The interior was nicely decorated. Overall, it’s a quick place to grab food. Not my first choice in this area though. I received a free meal from Noodles and Company in exchange for this review.

This place made me feel like a princess… like the Noodle Princess, in fact. I walked in with BFF and the Unilocal promotion for a free meal and asked«What do I get with this?» The nice man behind the counter replied«ANY. THING.» So I proceeded to order a small soup and small noodle bowl. He repeated«You can have ANY.THING. Wouldn’t you rather get those in LARGE??» I stuck to my guns and insisted on smalls, knowing that would be more than enough carbs for me for one evening. Then I had to deal with BFF’s stinkeye for not having any leftovers to send home with him. Sigh. I’m so selfish. As many have mentioned, they do have the cool soda machine but also wine and beer which was what we opted for(wine NOT included in «ANY.THING»). BFF ordered the current special which was a Thai Hot Pot style bowl of soup and noodles and both pork and chicken(I think), and I got the Thai Curry Soup and Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine. We also had an order of the braised pork flatbread and I agree with Felecia. That pork was delicious! My soup was also very good altho I did add a little soy sauce and Siracha to kick it up a notch. I loved the pasta dish as well. It was very subtle in flavor which I like with pasta as you can taste the noodles and veggies so much better. I finished both items and felt perfectly sated, not overly full and a little healthy despite eating noodles. BFF loved his soup so much he, gasp, embarrassingly drank the last drop from the bowl. You don’t understand what an endorsement that is, coming from a man that prides himself on being proper in every way in public. I loved how each menu item is designated with the nutritional content so I could easily reject the 1200 calorie Italian pasta and get the whole grain(which was still half that). I also added the parmesan chicken for several more hundred calories but I would recommend not passing that up. It added a much needed level of savoriness to the pasta but those damn calories can add up fast! A big thank you to Noodles & Co and Unilocal for the nice promotional deal. I’ll definitely be back for more noodley noms!

As a serious carb addict, I’ve been meaning to try this place forever. Thanks to a coupon for a free meal from Unilocal,I finally did. Right as you walk in the door, there’s a giant menu with detailed descriptions, pictures, and perhaps most importantly, calorie counts of all their dishes. I really like the wide variety of dishes they offer — sure, they’re all noodles, but they offer asian dishes, Italian, and good old american comfort food. Most everything is pretty high in calories — there’s one dish that clocks in at a whopping 1270 — but the portion sizes are pretty large. I went around 3:00 pm on a Sunday, and there was only two people in front of me in line. The lady working the register was super friendly and fast. They have one of those super cool Coke machines where you can customize your drink. My boyfriend instantly reverted to a child and hit pretty much every single button before deciding on his drink(sorry, dude waiting behind us…). It only took a few minutes for our food to come out. The food met my expectations. It was filling and pretty tasty. Nothing particularly amazing or innovative, but this isn’t the sort of restaurant you come to if that’s what your looking for. Compared to other fast food establishments, this was a solid four star experience.

Very courteous staff! Knowledgeable of their menu and able to make great suggestions if you give them an idea of what you are in the mood for(down to what meat goes well with what dish)! My food came out fast and piping hot! I had the pad thai(which I was told is the only entirely gluten-free option on their noodle menu, though you can order gf noodles for any dish for a $ 2 upcharge) with shrimp and they did not skimp on the skrimps! Very fresh and flavorful! The dining area and restrooms were clean and parking is close and abundant. Will definitely be back when I am in the area and in need of a quick, delicious noodle fix!

Honestly, I wish I could like Noodles & Company; their concept is great, their staff is friendly, but their food just doesn’t deliver. A restaurant that just mixes and matches foods is a big NO. Would you like Parmesan chicken with your Pad Thai(which you can order together)? I didn’t think so. Instead I asked for a chicken Pad Thai and they literally stuck a piece of grilled chicken on top of my Pad Thai. The problem with these noodle dishes is that they literally season the noodles, put cold uncooked vegetables on top, put a piece of pre-cooked meat on, and then serve for a price of $ 8. Their«#1 seller» is the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, which is just an average macaroni & cheese that can be compared to any store bought instant pack. Their menu says try it with the oven roasted meatballs, which I didn’t like because they tasted like beef stroganoff meatballs. Being optimistic, I have tried several of their dishes(Alfredo MontAmore, Penne Rosa, Japanese Pan Noodles, Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, Pesto Cavatappi, Pad Thai, Steak Stroganoff, and Chicken Noodle Soup). Unfortunately, all of these dishes were bad. If you’re wondering…“Gary, if you don’t like this place, why would you go back and try all these dishes?” The answer is because I had several free coupons/passes, so I took up the free meals. Advice to Noodles & Company: Please do not call your menu the World Tour Menu when all your foods lack quality, substance, and originality. Lower your prices to what they should actually be. Mix and match foods that actually make sense. Advice to customers: I will not be going back to any Noodles & Company ever again. For those that do end up trying it, you are a brave soul.
