I will preface by saying that I am giving 2 stars because I ate in the restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Despite them fixing the wrong veggie pizza the first time around, the correct one came out…40 minutes later… and it was pretty good. We ordered delivery tonight, and that deserves only a 1 star. Maybe only ½ star. The delivery girl gave me the slip to sign, I signed and it with a generous tip, and then she just turned and walked away. I had to ask, «can I have my pizza?» She replied, «oh yea, I’m so bad at this.» One of our pizzas ordered was a regular margarita. The cheese was rubbery and the crust to toppings ratio was lackluster. My pizza was a gluten free west coast veggie. This is the pizza that I had ordered a few weeks ago in the restaurant. This time around, though, there was barely any sauce, the crust was burnt, the toppings were sparse, and it was cold. Not lukewarm… cold. This is the second or third time we have tried to love Craig O’s. You have completely lost my business. I have called before when I have been unhappy, and I am done calling to complain. I will be giving my Lakeway pizza business to Mangieri’s or Table 620 or just making my favorite frozen from Whole Foods.

We love CraigOs. Great beer selection, and delicious pizza, PLUS a playground for the kids. Everyone is happy.

We moved to Lakeway 6 months ago, and were so thrilled to know that there was a CraigO’s out here as we enjoyed the one in Oak Hill for so many years. But this location is so poorly run & managed, you would not believe that they are the same brand. We’ve had better experience actually eating in at the restaurant, but their delivery/take out is atrocious. Each time we’ve ordered(3 in total now), our food has either take hours to actually show up(after a 45 minute quote) and/or not even been cooked. Each time, we’ve had to call to complain, and the manager(Ben) doesn’t even seem to care — there’s always a new excuse(new pizza cook so running 2 hours behind was tonight’s rationale after it didn’t show up after the first hour). PS – it’s 830p and we ordered at 545p. Insane that an operation this disgraceful can remain in business. At the very least they should stop offering delivery. Net/net — you can consider this place for dining in, but NEVER order their take out option. The Lakeway location has a lot to learn from Oak Hill. We will definitely not be customers moving forward.

The House Pizza is awesome! It says it has roasted green peppers and caramelized onions, but it’s more like lightly pickled which«made» the pizza. I didn’t give 5 stars on purpose ie the staff messed up the order, they brought out the pizza but we had to wait for the plates, they brought out the beer and we had to wait for the frosted glasses. I would still go back, the Pizza and Devil Backbone beer were awesome!

Craig O’s House Special Pizza was really good! We ordered it on thin crust and boy was it thin. We also enjoyed a pitcher of Devils Backbone. I would take a pass on the pizza rolls, they are nothing to write home about. Their Greek Pizza was just okay. So far this is my favorite pizza place, i have tried Lakeside Pizza(i heard they have great burgers, i’ll go back and try them) and Arpeggio’s and I wasn’t impressed. I still need to try a few more places to lock in my most favorite.

Disappointing service. Placed an order for delivery. Person taking my order was distracted and lacked basic courteous phone skills. Gave him the benefit of the doubt as everyone has a bad day. Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza from the menu. Should be BBQ sauce, cilantro, onions, and cheese. What was delivered was a cheese pizza with tomato sauce and chicken on it. Called back to let them know, was on hold for fifteen minutes(not exaggerating), got the same guy who took my order. Explanation he gave was«the kitchen was busy and made you the wrong pizza». No apology, no thank you for your business, or offer to make it right. They just lost my business going forward. Unfortunate as my hubby liked their food.

Food is great but customer service sucks. I have ordered online from them so many times. I get the same thing every time which is plain cheese calzone wi no stuffing. While waiting for them to deliver it, I bathed every child of mine, then when I was done with the last bath-I was wondering why it took so long and I called since it had been a hour and half when I called. They said they called several times because they wanted to know what toppings I wanted on the calzone. I couldn’t believe how stupid that was. I know how to fill orders online. It gave me all the options for toppings. I didn’t click on them. Meaning plain. Yet, my children were crying and whining saying they were so hungry. I fed them peanut butter and jelly sandwich because it was almost their bedtime. I never had problems with them until yesterday. Not worth coming back.

The most positive thing is that it is accommodating for large groups. We have been several times with different a groups, and the place is definitely set up for that. The food or service isn’t something we think of when going out with our family on Friday nights It has a playground, although not easily seen from the inside of the restaurant.

Everything is always great! The lunch specials are very reasonably priced. The owner is present almost every time we go, and he remembers his regular customers.

Don’t waste your time. If you order pizza by the slice they just reheat a piece of plain cheese pizza and put half uncooked toppings on it. It’s soggy and gross.

Again, I am impressed with the quality of food and service. We ordered a Canadian Bacon and Pineapple Pizza and a Cesar Salad.(I also had a frosty cold Beer!) We enjoyed not only the food but the atmosphere. Thanks to the owner Craig who also took the time to come over and sit and talk with us! I am impressed with how this place and it’s high level of quality never changes. I’d give you 6 stars if I could!

The House special! love it, I can sit and drink my Solid Rock beer while the kids play fenced in outside. The Kids love the Stromboli, which is as good as the sampling of Long Islands best Italian restaurants. If Mama is happy then the family is happy. Not a big fan of ordering then sitting, but this area is hard to find good service help.

This place is a mix between a kids fun place where parents can have a drink while their kids are contained in a playscape to a place where you can come and have a pie and a drink! When you walk in you can dine in or pick up your to go order. If it isn’t ready there is a cozy little nook where you can sip on a craft beer while you wait. They have a large dining room area and an expansive outdoor patio that looks over a fenced in playscape. We had a to go order that wasn’t ready and the staff was nice enough to offer us some beverages while we waited. We opted for some sodas and sad in the nook waiting area. I looked over their framed, enlarged menu and to my surprise it was pretty big. They have appetizers, salads, antipasto, lo-carb specials, calzones, Stromboli, pizza, hot subs, cold subs, wraps, gluten free menu, entrees, desserts, make your own pizza and pastas! They also offer catering if you are looking for that. We ordered the House Special which comes with homemade pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, roasted green peppers and caramelized onions. We opted out of the green peppers and added spinach and black olives. The large was a 16″ and serves 3 – 4 which is entirely accurate. We got the pizza home and dug in! To my surprise it was actually pretty good. I am always leery of strip mall pizza places. The only thing that I would change is that I would take the toppings all the way to the crust because the center was inundated and became a bit soggy. I did like how it wasn’t swimming in sauce and the crust was nice and thin and crunchy. All the ingredients were fresh!

Since my last visit, they have changed a bit, no more wait staff just order at the counter and take a number to your table, self serve drink station. They have a gluten free part of the menu which is very helpful. I had the white italian gf pizza which was good. Personally when I think of italian though I think basil, mexican I think cilantro, maybe that’s just me. My parents each had a calzone but they actually could have shared one, portions are large. They thought they were good. Restaurant is kid friendly.

Love the Greek pizza and order it frequently for delivery many time we have to reheat it when it arrives but it still tastes good. The hand full of times we ate at the restaurant the service was absolutely horrible! Borderline comedic, but really just sad and frustrating.

Take out pizza last month was not so stellar. Crust a little off and skimpy toppings compared to usual, especially the ground sausage — seriously like one tbsp lump on one slice. ??? . Since, I’ve been such a fan of Craig O’s I called to inquiry(not make a complaint) what had changed: was there a new chef? did they perhaps run out of sausage? The manager, George, promptly offered an apology and said he would be happy to remake the pizza and that I could pick it up. I courteously declined as the football game was starting. George then offered the solution of putting a replacement pizza at no charge on his books for my next visit. Not expected, but I accepted. Hey… ya know. So, redeemed my freebie replacement yesterday for the season ending games. Spot on! The best it’s ever been. So, in addition to sticking to my positive reviews of their pizza I must now profess my appreciation for their great customer service as well. George’s efforts have maintained a loyal customer of Craig O’s pizza pies. :) Every kitchen has a bad day so-to-speak; however, I think I can now confidently say the norm at Craig O’s is consistently GOOD.

Mommy’s & Daddy’s sanity time They have nice fenced playscape where you little ones can play while you can sit out on the deck with your favorite beverage. Pizza is quite good. The rest of the food that I tried is just OK. You are not going to Craig O’s for fine dining. It’s quick, fun for the kids and conveniently located.
