Bee Caves Pediatrics

Do not go hear for flu shots. They tell you something for charges and you land up paying totally different. Consider like CVS/​Walgreens depending on insurance it might be free. Which would have been the case with me.

So I gave three stars because it was a «OK» experience. wasn’t oober impressed or felt any different about the doctor I saw. then who my daughter had before at another practice.
My family has been living a vegan/​vegetarian lifestyle for over three years and I explained that through our conversation on nutrition and all that. and somehow I don’t think the doctor knew what a Vegan was, or if she remembered the information I gave her. I hate when doctors preach or have a «tone» about not eating dairy, and just living a different lifestyle then the «norm.»
My daughter thought the doctor was nice and didn’t have a bad experience with the doctor… The doctor did ask a lot of good questions about my daughter’s health. but to me that was the only positive thing about it.
I just again feel that once that part of the «meeting» was over, anything after that was more not listening to the choices we have made, and retaining the information. I guess I expected doctors in Austin/​Lakeway to be more open minded to alternative diets (as there are so many alternative lifestyles/​diets here) and be able to be on the same page as my family. I am going to following through with a well –check up in a few weeks, but I am still on the hunt for a open minded doctor!

We moved to the area a year ago and immediately needed a pediatrician as my daughter became seriously ill. We discovered Bee Cave Pediatrics and Dr. Garcia and I absolutely love the care that was provided for my daughter. We’ve relocated frequently for our work and out of the 5 pediatricians that my daughter has had Dr. Garcia is by far the best. At every visit, she takes the time to conduct a thorough exam. She is never rushed and makes sure all your questions are answered. She helped to ease my concerns and worries the 6 times we visited in the short time of 2 months. I’ve always found it easy to make appointments. The staff is wonderful too and recognizes us from our frequent visits. My daughter has also visited with Dr. Grier twice in Dr. Garcia’s absence. He too provided excellent care for my daughter. I’m glad we found Bee Cave Pediatrics and would highly recommend them.

When we moved to Bee Cave a year ago from Round Rock I kept putting off finding a pediatrician until a strong recommendation came along. That recommendation never came but I always knew Bee Cave Pediatric was right around the corner from our house. Of course, we needed to see a pediatrician for a sick-​visit before we had the need for a well-​visit check up so off to the most convenient office we went! We got in the same day and within a few hours of calling in the am. When we arrived we were seen quickly and the entire staff from check-​in to vitals to exam were AWESOME! There’s nothing less enjoyable than taking two sick 4 year olds to a new dr’s office but the visit couldn’t have gone better. Dr. Garcia saw us quickly and made us comfortable with the new environment. Since this was her first time meeting us she had a lot to cover and she made us feel extremely cared for. We have lengthy medical histories which, as a mother, I feel are very important for our pediatrician to understand (e.g. 27 week preemies with asthma, allergies, etc). We’ve recently been back for our 5 year old well visits and again, the staff was welcoming and patient. We made a great decision choosing Bee Cave Pediatric and Dr. Garcia as our office and pediatrician. Dr. Garcia is wonderful and the office is fantastic. My boys actually enjoy going to the doctor, believe it or not. We’ll see how they feel after their next vaccinations but so far so good. I HIGHLY recommend this office and Dr. Garcia.
