You can fool me once but,…well, that’s all they hope for really. If you are in AC and staying at the Showboat, DONOTEATHERE. The food was overpriced, bland, and drinks were served in plastic cups. We didn’t know any better and were simply starving from the nine hour car ride from Ohio, so we thought, let’s try this place that only has a few people in it. Now we know why. We ordered wings, five tacos, a diet coke(that tasted weird), and two Miller Lite drafts(12 oz.), and the bill was over $ 50 after tip! Never again, that’s for sure.

Worship Surf Bar is probably so underrated because it’s so unknown. Located all the way by Showboat, this indoor bar that also has boardwalk seating, is probably overlooked way too often. I’ve never logged major hours here, but it’s a great place to stop for a drink or two. They always have some sort of decent special going on as well. During yesterday’s visit I was able to get an Absolute Acai Berry Vodka with club for $ 4. It wasn’t the biggest cup ever, but it sure beats the cheap vodka served for free in the casino and the same sized drink sold elsewhere with a higher price tag. I’m going to miss my pit stops at Worship Surf Bar when it’s gone.

If I buy the souvenir cup for 14 bucks my drinks are $ 10 thereafter??? Sounds like a deal to me! I got my drink on at this Place and loved everything they poured. The bar tender was friendly and her Irish drawl and family tales made my fiancé feel welcome and we enjoyed ourselves that much more. Atfer enjoy a drink or eight :) we ordered some appetizers which was extremely tasty. I would recommend the buffalo wings and Steak tacos. If your starving the portions will seem small but if you trying to keep a good buzz going then the portion is just right. Love this place!

Pricing is good, service is decent. I like the little bar. I was wondering why was it so empty. I’m sure if it’s pumping with people it would be a nice experience. It was kinda brisk there. My drink was good and strong. Had me buzzing on an empty stomach so I had to go eat next door. Ordered The Barrel. Wouldn’t order food there, looks overpriced. Happy hour pricing is good to go.

My group of 8 were staying at Revel(see my other reviews for that) and were a bit tipsy and starving so this was the first place we stumbled upon. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating. We all pretty much ordered burgers which I have to say were not at all worth the $ 13 we paid for them as they were small and dry and the bun was not the freshest but at the time we didn’t care. The fries however were dusted with crack. It’ll do in a pinch.

Looking for a perfect way to ruin an epic weekend? Search no further… Worship Surf Bar has got you covered. This establishment is disgusting in both décor and cuisine. The bathrooms were so dirty, I thought I was being Punk’d. However, most notably disappointing was the service. We(a party of 6) entered this«restaurant» after a fun day on the beach. The seating was open, awkward and freshly wiped down with a dirty dish rag. The«waitress» took our drink order and reappeared 30 minutes later as if to say«hey what are you idiots still doing here…» When she did finally come back with the WATERS that we ordered, we were starving and willing to eat anything. After clearing up a disagreement about the sign outside which falsely advertised meals for far less than the menu price, we decided on a round of fish/steak tacos. Another half-hour later, the food came to us cold with no condiments. When we asked her for salsa and sour cream, she failed to bring out enough for everyone and never returned. I spoke to the manager who offered to refund my meal after I sent it back to the kitchen, but made no effort to apologize for our terrible experience. She also had a mullet, which I found offensive. The check arrived, miscalculated, charging us for things we never ordered. After a grueling 2 hour waste of time, we made it out alive, likely with some mutant strain of delayed food poisoning. My advice, stay away.

We stopped in here because we were staying at Showboat and we saw that they had some decent drink specials. We went to the bar with high hopes and were disappointed. The actual bar was awkward with two different level structures where we were sitting. The vibe in the bar was weird and something about it just made us not want to stay. We got one drink each – and the drink specials were good…$ 3 Miller Lite and $ 6 Absolut drinks. They had a few flavor options for the Absolut drinks and K had the pear. The drink was nicely made by the bartender. Maybe it would have been more comfortable if the bar was more crowded… but I can say that we did not return during our trip.

This place is pretty small but has some good drinks, decent specials, and they put the Nationals game on when I asked for it. I’d go back if I was at the Showboat and wanted to watch the game and grab a drink. Oh and our table was a surfboard, pretty entertaining.

We went there on a Sunday at 12:45PM to watch football and it was closed. Not sure what is up with that.

Yo dude! Let’s party and hang ten! It’s so righteous! Stayed at the Showboat for a few days this past weekend and saw a new bar they opened with the House of Blues right on the boardwalk. Now, Atlantic City is mostly known for gambling and gaudiness, but this new place is A-OK if looking for a chill spot to kick back with a few beers or frozen drinks. Surfer dude items hang on the walls, surfboard shaped tables, Corona labeled bar stools, beer pong tables, some outside seating on the boardwalk, and a bunch of flat screens all around to watch the games on. Surf music and surf movies are also played on a big screen. This place is a good spot to grab a cheap cold one with daily drink specials. It’s like a 24⁄7 happy hour. When we dropped in for a drink they had $ 3 domestic drafts, $ 4 Coronas, and $ 5 Absolut & Malibu cocktails. They also offer some normal pub fare such as wings, tacos, sliders, sandwiches, salads, etc. Open Sun-Thurs: 12pm-10pm, and Fri-Sat: 12pm-2am. This place has a light fun vibe to it, and makes for a nice mid day break from the casino floor. As it’s an open air spot along the boardwalk you can people watch and take in the sea breezes. Even Jeff Spicoli would approve. Aloha, Mr Hand!
