I must admit that I was expecting a bit more based on other reviews. On a hot summer afternoon it was almost cooler outside than it was inside. They did have a huge fan going to try and cool it down but it wasn’t helping much. It was very dark inside, that may be purposely done to try and keep it cooler. We had a few drinks and an appetizer. Drinks were a bit pricey for a dive bar but probably consistent with other local spots. Mozzarella moons were tasty. Bartender was attentive and nice. Nice that it is 24⁄7 but based on my first impression there I probably won’t be eager to return … at least until the weather is cooler.

My friend and I were in A.C. for a short getaway.. We got a coupon for this place from . This place was listed as a «Gastro Pub.» Really??? Not quite… This place is simply a dive bar. One positive, is that the barmaid was very very nice. It was Taco night, so we ordered 3 tacos each, and split the pulled pork nachos. Took a long time to get the food, because when she first put the order in, the order machine wasn’t working properly, and the kitchen didn’t get the order. *really?* When we finally got the food, the Nachos were OK, but the tacos were *greasy, greasy, greasy!* My poor friend was up most of the night with indigestion/heartburn because of the tacos. It may be OK as a bar, it may be OK as a music venue, but as a restaurant, Forget it…

Went here for the Elephant Talk Indie Music Awards this past weekend and had a blast. The BoneYard is definitely a bit divey and hipstery. I was surprised that there were more craft beers than I expected. I came here expecting a very limited menu. The prices were a bit much for certain drinks, but they had a few specials. When going to Atlantic City, I’d personally stay in the casinos, but I’d also keep an eye out for shows here because that’s certainly what made this more enjoyable. BoneYard is within walking distance of the Taj Mahal. The bathrooms here were a bit shady, but exactly what you’d expect from a dive bar. Was beyond ecstatic for the fact that they had the Eagles game on! I’m a fan of dive bars so if I’m ever staying at the Taj Mahal or find another worthwhile show, I could see myself back here.

So I went for a live band on a Sunday night and wasn’t sure what to expect. Well the band was awesome(in case your wondering) but the bar tenders were friendly and on top of it.(it was extremely busy). They had a full menu the whole time and it was amazing pub fare. The wings were huge! And tasty. The spinach dip was better then most. And I didn’t get a burger but watched several get delivered and I’m mad I didn’t try one. Next time I’m in AC. I will be back for a Buger tasting

My first time there was New Years Day for the 2015 Polar Bear Plunge. The bar was empty but that was expected it was 730am. We were there pregaming. We had a bunch of shots and left for the beach. I did notice they have alot of craft beers on tap and the menu looked good. This place is definitely of the beaten path for tourists visiting AC but worth the trip. I’ve been back a couple times since then for festivals and the Black Hole Burlesque in August. The place was packed for these events. The music is usually Rock, Metal and Punk they have a Open Mic Night and a DJ a couple nights a week and a digital juke box. The patio in the back is awesome in the spring and summer months, live acts play Classic Rock and Original Music. The food is pretty good. I’ve had the Bacon Mac and Cheese burger and Thai Sriracha chicken tenders if you like hot and spicey like I do the tenders are awesome. They are always bringing in new craft beers and coming up with different cocktails and shots. They have a happy Hour and discount Police, Fire and Ambulance workers.

Atlantic City. Drinking, gambling, partying. Tucked right behind the Trump Taj is father/son business, quiet bar, but it’s got pool and a table for beer pong. Runs 24⁄7 and has got plenty of beer and liquor on tap. The people are nice and the place is clean. The guy behind the bar suggested a black cherry cider, very good, and I ordered a chicken finger and fries appetizer. They came out pretty quickly, piping hot and crunchy, served with mustard on the side. I thought the ½ priced app happy hour covered the chicken fingers but apparently not, yet the waitress gave it to me anyways! They have happy hours from 4−7pm and 4−7am, talk about drinking 24/7, they got you covered. They have about 10+ beers on tap, a few bottled and a ton of hard liquor in the bar. Live music Thursday and Fridays and there’s parking outside too. Since I went around 5PM on a Friday, it might have been still early since there were only 5 people there including me, nevertheless I thought it was a nice place to drop by and have a drink.

This is a small dive bar, on a side street behind Trump Taj Mahal. The bar has a rock and roll/punk appeal to it, however since the jukebox is digital, it simply kills any theme they may be going for. They have signs posted advertising live bands, however there wasn’t anyone playing music on a Friday night when I was there. Very few patrons were present on a Friday night. The people who were there, acted very«clicky» and didn’t seem like they wanted to associate with anyone who wasn’t a local. I almost felt like an uninvited guest at a private members only bar. I give them 3 stars for a nice dive bar appeal and low drink prices, however if they only made tourists feel more welcomed, I’m sure they could double their profits. Having only 4 patrons in a bar on a Friday night should encourage the owner to advertise this bar better. It is a bar with great potential, if only managed better.

The boyfriend and I stopped by here for an event his friend was hosting. The staff was great and the beers/drinks are reasonable pricing. It’s a nice little dive bar in AC and it’s 24⁄7 which is awesome. We love their craft beer draft list and have not tried any food yet, but from the looks of what other people ordered, looks pretty decent for a dive bar in the middle of AC.

24⁄7 Bar & Grill?! Perfect! We were looking for something to eat at about 2AM on a Tuesday morning. The food in the Resorts casino is limited at this hour so I turned to Unilocal for other food options and came across BoneYard. The bar is pretty simple: a long bar with bar stools against one wall with some tables & chairs for dining along the other wall. The bartender was very friendly and personable and answered all of our questions. He did inform us that if it’s not busy, the kitchen will close at about 4AM so keep that in mind. We didn’t order any cocktails because we were drinking at the casino but we ended up ordering the BBQ wings, Garlic Parmesan wings, Mac & cheese bites, and fries to take back to the room. The wings were really good and big, but the garlic Parmesan wings were way better than the BBQ. I wasn’t a fan of the Mac & cheese bites at all but I guess they have potential. Good to know about BoneYard and its late hours! I would definitely revisit.

This place rules for the occasional high-energy show and their food & drink selection is pretty decent. Came in on a Thursday night following a show at the Dante Hall Theatre, and left let down… My past experiences were always way better than what I dealt with that night. Asked the bartender for a Backyard Lemonade cocktail, apparently they were out of ingredients for it… Okay, fine. I wasn’t salty about that as much as I was about the attitude the bartender gave me about not knowing which other drink to choose from. I eventually ordered an Ecto Cooler, which he made very well. Food was decent, can’t go wrong with fried pickles… The boyfriend ordered fried mac and cheese wedges and those were delicious too. But the bar had dead ants on it. Instant gross-out. And the other bartender on duty was friendly and checked on us more than the original rude guy did, but spent more time complaining about bar business than seeing if we wanted to close our tab. I’m not down in the area often, so I usually make it a point to stop by whenever I am. Not sure if I will next time, though.

Went there to see a friend’s show. The bar staff must have been new or have been working for free, worst service ever. We ordered food as well. That took almost and hour for two appetizers(typical bar food). The couple next to us said they were in a month prior and it Took 45 min for cheese fries. Buyer beware– eat before you go!!!

Finally made the trip out to this place last night I’ve been eyeing it up for weeks. Let’s see positives, decent music but that’ll depends on what group/Act is in town. Drinks were very good. Bartender was alone on a Saturday night so service was at a standstill at times and the guy had zero personality. Worst part was the crowd. The bands were all from Long Beach Island so maybe the crowd was too. Anyway they were all in their 20s half my age and just rude. When you get up and go for a cigarette outside and leave your drink full at the bar it’s common courtesy not to take that seat when the person returns yet it happened twice. Had to restrain myself. As far as the set up it’s a long narrow room with the stage at the back. Nothing ideal like a large room with better vantage points. I didn’t try the food but I did see plenty of it. Unfortunately a lot of it sat there going to waste as the bartender had no clue where it went I didn’t try the food but I did see plenty of it. Unfortunately a lot of it sat there going to waste as the bartender had no clue where it went It said there is no good local music around here and I’m not sure I ever want to go back to this place.

My favorite local venue and one of my favorite venues anywhere for live music. The Boneyard is tucked into a quiet street just off the center of AC and offers good cheap beer, great bar food, and an excellent roster of local and touring bands.

Can’t believe we didn’t know about this place sooner! Right down the street from Trump Taj. My friend and I went there for a $ 10 show. Great beer selection and bar food! They are open 24 hours which is unheard of! 4am to 7am happy hour. Can’t wait to go back!

Came here on a Sunday night and this place was empty, but they were playing some Chapelle show which was awesome. Unfortunately there were 2 older folk, here the older gentleman wanted to watch some detective show, so the bartender had to change the channel. Then I had to hear the 2 older folks talk about sending Mexicans back to Mexico, while I waited and ate my food. Actually the lady was defending immigrants rights while her boyfriend, this couple where in their 60s. I being Mexican, did not really want to hear this nonsense but wasn’t going to pick a fight with an old man. The bartender was Fillappino and actually very cool, but I can imagine he was annoyed by this conversation also. Any ways, fantastic IPA drafts. The food was ok, I went with boneless wings and fries, you get to choose your own sauce, I made the mistake of going with the BoneYard sauce, it was tamarind tasting, which just did not taste right. Maybe I just chose the wrong night to go this place.
