5 am. Order grits and eggs. What do I receive? Over boiled eggs and clumpy grits ! And I mean clumpy. I don’t know why I keep coming here, maybe it’s because I work in the area. Maybe I’m crazy. But I have never tasted anything worth sharing, in fear that the person trying the food may vomit.

I understand these places are insanely busy on Sunday mornings, but there is NO excuse for the filth I encountered during my visit today. The usual menu and condiment holder was absolutely coated in syrup and who knows what. My table was unusually sticky despite being«cleaned» before I sat down. I ordered an omelet. When it arrived, I noticed it was somewhat opaque looking so I squished on it with my fork. I squeezed what appeared to be at least a quarter cup of lo-melt out onto my plate. I finally got up, and walked out.

Last time I go to waffle house. This one anyway. I’m tired of my order being wrong. My check being wrong. The service and the wait. This place is dirty, and the way they run things is maddening to watch. There’s gotta be a better way in 2015 to take orders and get them to cooks. Other than a bunch of people tripping over each other and yelling out orders incorrectly. They also have no problem using eggs @ 1:30pm that have been sitting out in the basket since 8:15am and have been clearly marked for disposal at 12:15pm. I also found out they do not actually dispose of old eggs, but use them to make«batter» or something of the sort. The cooks are wearing gloves but are constantly wiping on their dirty apron, which is rubbing up against counters and stove tops, then going back to handling food. I waited and watched almost 30 minutes for an omelet(which was soupy upon eating it so obviously undercooked), bacon & ham. It was not busy nor crowded in here, and they had plenty of people working. Well, half were working, and half didn’t seem to be doing much of anything. My omelet was done 10 minutes before my bacon, and my bacon was done 5 minutes before my ham. Food just sitting there getting cold. $ 15 for that. I have no idea how they do math @ waffle house but the omelet was priced @ under $ 7. So, another $ 7-$ 8 for one side of bacon and one side of ham? I don’t think so.

I went to WH back to back nights and had a great experience. The food is Waffle House style. good tasty grub, but the best part was the service. Our server Sophia was a wonderful gal. Sweet, attentive and went above and beyond. She was so great that we requested to sit in her section the next night. It was pretty busy and the food came quickly. Great exp for a late night spot for tasty diner food!

After driving to several highly rated crowded places we headed to the local WH. Satisfied with fast, attentive and hospitable service and a tasty breakfast!

Just a great place to get home cooking. There is no place better I like to come if I just want a good cup of coffee and good breakfast. Ok it maybe not the best of the best but… The people are nice, the food is good, and on quite mornings(rare) I can read a book in piece.

Some of the best waffles I have ever had! Where else can you get a complete breakfast and drink for about 5 bucks and change. Wish We had one in California! Every time Im in the East coast, I make sure I stop by the Waffle house!

From my experience, Waffle House was very average and that’s being considerate. Service was sub par. Food was okay, if that. Coolest part was the«Waffle House» imprint in my waffle. If I traveled back to a state that had waffle houses I might be inclined to stop in and give it another go, but until then I won’t be too upset that California doesn’t have them.

So I stopped by the waffle house while visiting my cousin, and omg! I was so excited… lol. I ordered the waffle with extra strawberries and whipped cream and a side of Texas biscuits and gravy. The next time I come back to Atlanta I will be right back here for my favorite waffle shop! How I wish there were a waffe house in California(so sad).

Waited for 15 minutes. There were people who arrived there after us and they received help first. Classic!

Nothing truly special about this place… it’s just your average breakfast. Probably best for those nursing a hangover…

LOVETHISPLACE!!! Fresh off the plane my folks and I were searching for a place to start our chicken and waffel mission. We asked a local and we were directed to the waffel house. Man I wish we had one of these out in Cali. It would make starting the morning do much easier… Out of the 5 days I was in the ATL I ate at the waffel house on 4 of those mornings… I think I’m bout to start a waffel house in the Bay!

Okay, my co-worker and I had just wrapped up a business dinner at Hanil Kwan, but he was still hungry(and I secretly so). We decided to drive over to the nearest Waffle House, since we heard that it was one of the chain restaurants to check out in the Atlanta area. We probably could have walked, but didn’t realize how close it was to our hotel! It was empty when we got there, but quickly filled up with random people like high school students and truckers. We both ordered the All Star Special, and immediately regretted it when we saw the size of the plates. Suffice to say, I only finished my waffle, which was good but not great. I am a huge fan of breakfast as dinner, but I probably shouldn’t have eaten two dinners.

This is my favorite Waffle House in the area. The staff is amazingly friendly at any hour of the night no matter the crowds. And this Waffle House can be PACKED. I love coming here and listening to all the conversations that follow, and of course to get my smothered/cover/capped hashbrowns and toast. After all, what’s a Waffle House visit without a boatload of carbs? Favorite one, hands down. It sits right next to the MARTA station, too, so it’s an easy ride over. Love it.

I have a new favorite Waffle House! I still love the one on Piedmont, but my new favorite WaHo friends — especially Shameeka, she’s just such a sweetie! — are at the Brookhaven post. I don’t go that often, but after just a few visits, they remembered my face and my usual late-night order(hash browns and either a grilled cheese or a bacon-chicken-cheese melt on Texas toast) and they’re always quick to say hello and ask what I want to drink, even when super-busy. It’s also nice that there’s lots of parking for when you’re the DD, and that it’s located across the street from one of my fave weekend spots, Pub 71, AND directly on my walkable path home! Plus, they’re good and reliably quick with to-go orders(Tip: try calling them in during the«busy» 1−3am weekend night hours). This Waffle House and I were just destined to be pals!

The people are exceptionally friendly and the food delivery was light speed! A hot chocolate chip waffle is a great way to start any day! Close to my home, easy to get in and out of, a fan! The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with has browns hit the spot!
