I had breakfast with my family last week at the Town Brookhaven location. Keon Sims was the best! Great customer service, very nice and attentive. Made my whole family feel welcomed! Thank you Keon!

The pancakes were great and the biscuits were just okay. The hot chocolate is amazing. The turkey bacon is inconsistent sometimes it will be chewy(which I like) and other times it will be crunchy.

Fantastic… One of the most original menus I have seen in Atlanta. Chicken sandwich with bacon was done so well I felt like chick fil a was garbage!(That’s saying something). The wait on a Sunday brunch was 30 minutes but we sat outside immediately. Service suffered because we were outside but was still good! Although the grilled Mac and cheese sounds unbelievable, I will not be getting it again. It wasn’t bad, but breakfast potatoes sound better!

This is the absolute worst Flying Biscuit location. The server, Ashley, is nice but the new ownership/management is terrible. Choose a different location if you wish to eat at Flying Biscuit.

Another visit to our favorite breakfast spot but I tried something new! I was excited to try the southern eggs Benedict. I’m devastated to say that I was a little disappointed. My eggs were more hard boiled. The pimento cheese had too much raw onion in it for my taste and was cold… which I was warned about. It was all okay because it came with a side of creamy dreamy grits! Dem grits!!! My dear husband switch me for his breakfast bowl. My favorite item on their menu. He’s a keeper ;)

Stopped by for breakfast this morning and was pleasantly greeted by TJ. He showed me to a nice booth and brought me my breakfast drinks. I’m usually in there about once a week and as usual the food was excellent and the noise level was moderate. It allows for thought and work, yes the iPad was working full time thanks to free wifi, without unwanted distraction. My order to take with was brought as I finished my last bite. Both TJ and the kitchen seem to time that just right. I’ll be back!

Parking may be difficult unless you’re willing to walk from the parking structure by LA Fitness. It’s Flying Biscuits, it’s a good franchise(so you get what you expect). I personally like their food although I realize not all people will agree. Service is good from my experiences(considering they were packed).

This review is not based on the food which is pretty good. This is about their service in particular and something I observed recently. I was sitting at the counter and a woman walks in having placed a large catering ordering. I noticed the amount because the server placed the bill right next to me for the lady to sign. It was around $ 275, which is pretty sizable. The customer left a $ 20 tip as well. Now, the server who was waiting on me was the one getting the food to this woman. I think the server’s name was Ashley. Anyway, she was bringing large amounts of food, bags of condiments, coffee, etc and didnt even offer to help this woman bring it to her car, which was right outside. There were 3 other employees right up front and none of them offered to help. None of them even offered to hold the door for this lady. At one point this customer’s arms were full of food and the server was holding a fruit tray. Instead of offering to bring the tray outside with her, she asked«would you like me to stack that on the food?» I could tell the customer was angry. None of these employees were too busy to help this customer and I hardly doubt this woman comes back. I am not sure if I am coming back either.

I visited on Sunday around noon. The wait was terrible — about an hour — with no where to stand without blocking the door. But the service once we were seated was amazing. The oven fried green tomatoes are definitely a must try here. Crispy, salty exterior with a warm, moist tomato inside. The cashew chutney is a highlight on the plate. For my meal, I had the omelette with egg whites, spinach, cheese, and mushrooms and potatoes. It came out pipping hot, was quite tasty, and filled to the brim with ingredients. The potatoes were a highlight — well seasoned, hot, and plentiful. Perfect food to warm your soul on a cold, breezy wintery day. Overall, it was a good breakfast.

Stupendously good breakfast. When I lived in Inman Park, and again when I worked in Midtown, I was semi-regular at those Flying Biscuits. I’d forgotten how good the food is. Such a nice server, Shane N, not rushing me as I took ridiculously long to decide. Keeping an eye without being intrusive. Grits. GRITS. These grits are probably what the clouds up above are made of. So gentle, so nourishing, so creamy, so savory. Despite the danger of losing my Southerner card, I confess – not usually a fan of grits. But these are magnificent. Fresh squeezed pink grapefruit juice, in a generous size! The décor so cute, with flowering vines painted on the wall and brightly colored vintage looking printed oil cloth on the tables. Humorous poster about breakfast-related contests of strength, such as the two – man biscuit toss. A counter, if you just want to run in and not linger. The connection with Indigo Girl and library advocate Emily Saliers is always a plus. Now that I have rediscovered Flying Biscuit, it will go back into heavy rotation. Because it is awesome.

Yowzer! «Off the Chain» Good! OMGG! I’m so glad that we(my bf and I) got a chance to finally go here together! He had been telling me about this spot for a while now and he had good things to say about it! We went here, yesterday(10−25−15) and I want to go back ASAP, although it was hard to find(the address is a bit confusing). Anyway, I walk in and was shocked as to how small it was(or maybe it was b/c it was so crowded) and we immediately were seated! Our waiter, Keon, was VERY polite, upbeat, friendly, attentive… the list goes on! My boyfriend had been telling me about some kind of eggs w/collard greens that they have here… and I was like«eww, that doesn’t sound good at all»…WonhWonhWonh…WRONG Answer!!! My goodness! I now found out that it’s called Southern Scramble!!! OMGG, make you wanna slap your whole immediate family! He ordered that(SS) and I sampled, I ordered the Meggixcan Wrap, which was also very tasty! I also must add that their apple juice was sooooo Good(or it might have been b/c I hadn’t had apple juice in a long time)! I can’t wait to go back and get the Southern Scramble all to myself! Oh, and I can’t forget about their health score: 100!!! YAAY!!! Oh, and I must add that I don’t even like grits, but when I tasted these grits, my taste buds INSTANTLYCHANGED!!!

Great place for breakfast/brunch! We came here because our friends love the biscuit sandwiches here and it’s within walking distance of their apartments. This Flying Biscuit café is in a great location, nearby Costco and lots of other shopping/restaurants. I ordered the Southern Style Biscuit Benedict. The grits were all that I imagined! So creamy dreamy indeed; they were my favorite part of the meal. The biscuit was topped with 2 poached eggs, bacon, and hollandaise sauce as well as pimiento cheese. My biscuit arrived on my plate quite cold(maybe because of the chilled pimiento cheese?) but was still quite tasty!

Some suburban Flying Biscuit locations just can’t get it right… but this one can! The grits were creamy and dreamy as they should be. Service is friendly and prompt. The food quality overall is very comparible to the urban city locations. They really do the chain proud here and it’s our new go-to suburban location, even though Norcross is closer(the drive is worth it and Norcross can’t get it right with the grits lately and other visits have been below par). I’ve been obsessing with the grits, sausage, one peach oatmeal pancake, biscuit and eggs combo(forgive me for forgetting the name) because it features all my favorites this place has to offer.

Flying Biscuit is a wonderful place to go for breakfast. The staff is quick, friendly, and helpful. We have ordered several items from the breakfast menu, and all have been delicious. My favorite is the Egg-ceptional Eggs(two eggs over medium on black bean cakes topped with oven-roasted tomatillo salsa, feta cheese, and sour cream.) My husband loves the Pasta, Sausage, and Eggs(three eggs scrambled with chicken sausage, penne pasta, spinach, mushrooms and cheddar cheese.) The ubiquitous biscuit lives up to the hype. It is fluffy perfection served with a side of Cranberry Apple Butter. It can get a little bit hectic and the lunch items are decidedly so-so, but you should definitely hit this place up for breakfast.

This particular location is in Brookhaven so I’ll start of by saying it can get a little crowded especially during brunch time. I would suggest getting here early. I ordered the egg-stravaganza which basically means I had a little bit of everything from salty to sweet for breakfast. It came with sunny side up eggs, whole wheat French toast, sausage patty, and grits. Normally I’m not a fan of grits at all, but this place redeemed them for them. I never thought it would be possible, but there you go–«flying biscuit» knows how to make grits. The French toast came with jam and sweet tasting creamy sauce which tasted amazing. The menu has quite a selection whether you want to be on the healthier side offering vegetarian and vegan options to the not so healthy side. The staff was super friendly. The next time I go, I’ll explore more options and probably get something on the sweeter side.

In love with the grits.
Fast, and friendly service. This place is in a shopping plaza, so parking can get pretty hectic when it’s the busy time of the year. If you live in the Brookhaven apartments, it’s a great walking distance for a quick breakfast. I ordered a french toast meal, the french toast was«ok» but the sauces they brought with it were phenomenal! Overall, if you’re in the city and you’re looking for breakfast… this place is a great place to go! Especially if you’re like me and like escaping from the typical«iHOP» phase.

For some reason, I wasn’t impressed with the food. I used to be a big fan of this place but then I think they changed their biscuit and that was the best part. I always go to this restaurant when I’m back in atlanta, but I probably won’t be back next time. The service was great; the food just wasn’t as tasty as I thought it was.

I believe this place opens at 6 or 7am. Really convenient because most of the other restaurants in this circle open at 11am. Anyway, the food here is amazing. If you’ve never been here, you really need to try their fluffy, sweet biscuits(obviously). Their grits are also one of my favorites with a bit of salt and pepper(a lot of pepper for me). The jam that comes with your biscuits is also very flavorful and yummy. I have tried their Spinach omelette, Biscuits and gravy, and so many more. You won’t be disappointed with any of the menu items. If your entrée doesn’t come with a biscuit, you might be lucky, and get a free biscuit if you’re waiter/waitress is feeling extra friendly that day. The omelettes go really well with a side of ketchup and Tabasco together. Who doesn’t like Tobasco? :) The workers here are all so friendly, which is why I love this location even more. Breakfast food is always good no matter what time of day it is.

Brunch all day. Yay! Lol. This particular location does not serve alcohol, not even mimosas. Just saying… The table was a tad not on the clean side since there were food crumbs still on the table top. :/ Anyway… I ordered the turkey hash. I subbed the eggs for the chicken sausage(free of charge). It was delish and def filing with the potato pieces. It was a tad on the salty side, but then again I had turkey and chicken sausage. Our food of course comes with a fluffy biscuit. My friend said the grits here were pretty delectable, and the sample I had def makes it appear to be so. Service was pretty friendly. Maybe they could have come around for water refills? Not a big deal though… Parking wasn’t fun because of the other businesses in the area. My friend and I ended up parking in front of Marshalls(more off down at the lower lot) since that was our next stop anyway. There was always Costco’s parking lot with plenty of spots.
