The Walking Company

i wish i could give the store zero stars. i was in the store to purchase shoes. they didn’t have my size. So i had the sales girl order me my size and i purchase another pair of shoes. She took my credit card and the shoes were shipped to me. When the shoes arrived, i noticed they were not the correct shoes. I went to return the shoes and the sales girl would not issue me an immediate credit even though i had the shoes with me. She made up a lame excuse that the shoes had to be shipped to the warehouse and the warehouse would issue the credit. I used to shop in this store for years — and have never had this happen to me. I asked to have the manager or district manager return my call — no one called me back. Further the sales girl told me to write down my full credit card number in order to get the money credited back to my credit card. I was thinking WHAT THE HECK! How shady is that! I had my card issued as stolen since she could leave it sitting out or steal the number herself.
There are too many shoe stores out there. Who the heck needs to be treated like this. So bye, bye to The Walking Company. Please dont waste your time here — they are what I would call «no customer service».
