Ok they were busy, no doubt due to tax free weekend coupled with good sale items. Jamaal helped me and a few others at the same time yet I felt like I was the only customer thanks to him. Even while he was getting me more shoes(I tried at least 10 pairs) other workers asked me if I needed help too. The store was organized and I think I got a good deal. I bought Nike Air Max 2015 for $ 150. Regardless, the store is laid out well and currently the staff is excellent. FYI this is basically a men’s store. The kids and women’s selection is small and in the back while men’s is along both walls on each side. They do great with men’s selection and considering the limited floor space it seems they decided to do men’s very well and limit others. As always, if it matters to you, check the model your buying on manufacturer website to be sure it’s the latest model. For example I noticed they were selling Nike Pegasus 31’s for full pop yet Nike has 32’s available. I think all shoe stores suffer from this so its not fair to ding foot locker for it.

I’m always perturbed by the women’s section at this location and the fact that it’s limited to a corner of the store while the rest of the square footage is dedicated to men’s clothing and footwear. Oh wait, they do have another corner of the store for kids and one«post» that displays baby shoes, but the rest is pretty much for men. Moving on… I was impressed with the service the day I visited — the sales staff was pretty attentive and seemed to be knowledgeable about and able to articulate all of the nuances of shoe specifics e.g. running shoe vs. walking shoe vs. cross training shoe vs. fashion… The music they were playing was the highlight of my visit though(I know) — playing a mixture of genres that ranged from rap, to electronica, to pop. One minute I was listening to Nikki Minaj, the next minute Miley Cyrus and the third minute I was listening to someone else all while I was trying on shoes. I’m sure this helped contribute to my purchase made off of impulse that day. I’ll definitely shop at this location again, probably in the VERY near future. HaHa! Check ‘em out!

Well– it’s a Foot Locker, I am one not for fancy, shmancy shoes. We were in the area and my nephew needed new shoes… We got help quick enough, but our shoe size check was yelled out to another guy working there. So we waited while he checked on the 2 shoes… As we waiting, I kept hearing from the same one girl, ONEGIRL, that ‘it’s not in the store, we can order it online’ or ‘it’s a mismatched size, we can order it online’… not even exaggeration, this girl the whole time we were there kept saying it to ALL of her customers. Deng… Shoes brought back, one did fit, the second pair was the wrong one brought out to us, then as the guy was about to go back and check, another person yelled out for him to check on another shoe size, I feel bad for the guy, he is just trying to help, while everyone else was just yelling out for him to do the actual work. Does this place work on commission? I feel like the other workers ‘assisted’ the customers while the guy is the shoe-size-slave. We left with one pair of shoes, but at the same time, I was like o_O Work environment, very unprofessional. I may not be crazy shoe-heads like some of the folks in the store, but I’ve gone in to a lot of shoe stores to know, that’s not how they work.

Shopping, especially in malls, is annoying to me. But, we were on a mission and showed the shoes my friend wanted at a price point we simply could not pass up on. So we left the other shoe store and booked it to Perimeter Mall. We walked in and the prices did not match the web. We spoke with Michelle who copped attitude with us and said«well, if we had that color blue, we could match that price.» Ummm, what? She did offer to get us a manager. Now it was a Saturday and kind of hectic in the store, but I’m not sure why there was attitude. Up walked James, the Manager. We asked the same thing as I showed my phone with the price reflecting $ 79.99 for the Nike’s(by the way, no disclaimer for«this color only.» He said it was for only that color, but this time only, he would price match for us. Okay, deal. Suddenly, all snarkiness was gone and Michelle was lovely. After 10 minutes, 2 pairs of shoes tried on, we walked out with both at the matched price($ 20 off each), plus were upsold some socks. See, treat the customers with a good attitude and you can sell them anything! Clearly, the busy store was causing stress. Turns out, the shoes were too big, so we exchanged a day later for a smaller size — no muss no fuss. Probably one of the easiest returns ever. So overall, a decent customer service experience, but avoid them on the weekends. They seem to get too overwhelmed and their service goes downhill. Note, they will price match(their own website, at least).
