Good tacos and big portions in the taco. They put a lot of cheese on top and it’s really good cheese. I usually just eat one taco because it’s pretty big. Their guac is not that great though.

Good tacos and burittos on the cheap directly across from North Campus. The salsa was a little sweet but other than that a good spot to dine on a budget. Try the fried chicken burrito!

This was absolutely disgusting. We stopped here after a 13 hour drive to Athens, and brought our food back to the hotel. We were so hungry as we hadn’t eaten for most of the day. The tacos disintegrated and we could barely even eat them. What little I could eat was disgusting. Won’t be back.

The best part about this place is you get these giant inexpensive tacos. It’s so simple that it works. I’ll order a taco and a burrito and I’m full. Can’t beat that. It’s too informal to be considered a Tex Mex sit-down, but it’s NOT fast food. It’s just good inexpensive Mexican that hits the spot.

Skip it. Tried ground beef, a chicken and BBQ pork tacos. They were indistinguishable due to a lack of flavor. Pork was the best of the three but that’s not saying much.

I had the BBQ taco… amazing! The family had nachos and chicken tacos, which were not near as good.

Ordered the steak burrito and chicken quesadilla both tasted horrible. Will not be returning to this place. Both meats were precook and was not very tasteful.

Pre cooked chicken and I got my tacos cold… the quality is also not the best, I wouldn’t come here to eat their tacos.

Great American cuisine with a Mexican flair. Great atmosphere and even better Margaritas.

My order today went like this: Her: can I help you? Me: I’d like 2 soft ground beef tacos and a small Mtn Dew Her: Hard or soft tacos? Me: Soft Her: What kind of meat? Me: Ground beef Her: do you want a drink? Me: am I on a Candid Camera? I don’t care how good the food is, if you can’t pay attention to the customer– the customer isn’t coming back.

I really liked this place. The burrito and cheese dip were delicious. The service was ok but the food made up for it. I’ll definitely be going back in the future.

This place is a great stop for lunch if you’re hungry and am near campus. There are plenty of seating with plentiful televisions around. This place comes alive at night as there are occasional food and drink specials. I’d say this is a great place for cheap food and a relaxing atmosphere. If you prefer to stay away from crowds, there is another location on North Milledge Ave. The parking there is quite small, but there’s less of the hustle and bustle of people though. Both locations are near a coffee joint if you’re craving caffeine afterward. This location is near Starbucks while the other is near a Dunkin Donuts.

Oh Taco Stand, how I adore thee. I have fond memories of this place from when I was a student. My favorite thing here is the grilled chicken quesadilla. I think they changed it now so you can have spinach or tomato for your toritilla. Cheese dip still doesn’t disappoint, but I do wish they made a spicy version. Still good though. Came here a few weekends ago and it was just as I remembered it.
