This is a very nice and cozy place. It is an upscale place so don’t go looking for your average side-of-road diner and also don’t fo looking side-of-road prices either. The food is excellent and the WiFi is free.

I miss this place terribly; so sad to see it close it’s doors – the void is felt! The food at Metro was fresh & the menu varied; enough for me to call it my go to spot. *Sighs* Hopefully, they’ll consider one at harbor center as it was such a nice spot to bring family! Fingers crossed.

First time. You enter and stand around to review menu then order at counter. Order taker was preoccupied with something. Took orders & screwed them up. Eggs not over easy but sunny side up & very, very runny. Potatoes had no flavor at all, dry, tasteless. Bread was excellent as was sausage but couldn’t eat eggs nor spuds. Don’t waste your time here when Double T Diner is 2 blocks away with five times the menu & real waiters & food cooked as ordered.

I’ve only had breakfast here, so I can’t really comment on the quality of their other food, so you now have full disclosure. I stopped in for brunch on a Sunday while running some errands… I’d been to Target and several other places at Towne Center many times, and have seen this place every time, but never stopped in so I thought«why not?» There is a side door from the parking garage, but there’s a sign saying to walk around to the front entrance, so I did. Once inside, you’re greeted to a small stand holding menus with directions to review the menu first, then proceed to the counter to place your order. The menu was actually kind of limited in my opinion(no eggs Benedict? REALLY?), and although I’ve read a couple of reviews on here saying they have other items not on the menu, I didn’t see anything to indicate this. And at 10:30 on a Sunday, the place was still busy but not crazy, with a steady stream of people coming and going. I opted for the«Power Breakfast», which was listed as egg whites with mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, feta, chicken sausage, strawberries and toast for $ 9.99. Add in a bottle of OJ and my order came to just under $ 13. A little pricey in my opinion, but not totally unreasonable. After you place your order, they give you a number card that you place in a holder at your table, and a server brings your food to you when it’s ready. So I took my little number 29 and found a cozy little table with a nice upholstered chair(think library nook) in front of the window and sat down to ready my book while I was waiting. They do have some outdoor seating as well, but there were too many small children out there(one of whom kept banging his chair into the window by my table) for me to even consider this option. It took about 15 minutes for my food to come out, and when it did, I have to say the egg dish was OK, not great but not bad. The tomatoes gave it a nice flavor, as did the feta, but there wasn’t enough of either to make it great. The chicken sausage was surprisingly good… I honestly didn’t expect to like it, as I“m not a fan of turkey sausage in most cases, but this had a nice maple flavor to it and was cooked to percection, not greasy-soggy like so many places tend to do. The toast, however, was actually the star of the plate… I know, who’d have thought? But it was a very tasty whole-grain that added just the right carb element to the meal. I did notice that they have a tea-bar set up just past the counter where you order, with a nice assortment of teas to choose from. But what I didn’t notice was anyplace with any kind of condiments, no jam for the toast, no ketchup, nothing. And the server didn’t ask if I wanted anything, and took off before I had a chance to ask and never came back. No really… she NEVER came back. I realize there may not have been much she could do, since my drink wasn’t one that could be refilled(yes, they sell bottles of OK rather than glasses), but I would have thought that at least one stop to make sure I was happy with the food would have been appropriate. But I guess I have different standards than the management here. I won’t say I won’t go back, because there’s always the possibility that I will, given the close proximity to shopping at Towne Center. But with so many other options available, it won’t be my first choice.

Yeah great place as many of the reviews have said. Really good food, whole grain natural bread. Everything done to perfection really. Not having order takers provides a freedom like being at he billy they’re there to help if needed. Yep, 5 stars… note location is right next to target on side street by hair cuttery. Oh,…free WifFi

The address is really 216 Harkin Place off of Riva Rd. I’ve only been there once, but… think Panera, but done a lot better! So several LARGE notches above Panera. Maybe even a small quantum leap. We stopped for dinner one night of the suggestion of my sister, a long-time Annapolitan. It’s on the ground of what was Parole Plaza. The area looks like someone transplanted a few square block of downtown DC. Loved it! Very clean, arty décor, good waitstaff, very good menu. I had a salmon-topped salad and chai tea. Mid-pricey, but both were excellent. Healthy(and tasty) food, local farms, breakfast, lunch and dinner menus available 24 hours a day. I remember thinking, «Hmmm, this would be a really cool songwriters venue. There’s a free parking garage at the end of the block. There’s isn’t much happening at night nearby, because the nearby offices are closed. There are a reasonable number of shops, but I didn’t see many people on the street. So you won’t get much, «Wow look at that! Live Music!» action from passersby. If management’s expectations of traffic building can remain conservative while the powers that be try to build a live music scene there, it could turn into a win-win-win for the venue, singer-songwriters and patrons. The biggest problem is that you have to remember it’s there.

***NEXTTOTARGET in Annapolis, ADDRESSISWRONG! **** This is a hidden GEM! Amazing food, they use a lot of local food including amish eggs. The staff is really friendly and the restaurant is clean and open. You leave feeling satisfied not gross and guilty. This is our new favorite breakfast place. Outstanding pancakes drizzled with vanilla –Um umm.

There is Diner in the name, so of course if you show up at 8am and want to order an English Muffin, or oatmeal, or cereal, you would think that you could get it. Well, you would be wrong. They don’t carry them. I was shocked. I used to love this place, i hadn’t been there in about a year and today was the first day back. Things have changed, and, unfortunately, if I can’t get some basics for breakfast I wont be back.

OMG, fast and good. Miso Ahi Tuna 2 tacos and a fruit side salad at $ 10! That’s incredible. They are delicious. I am surprise; this diner is not a typical diner. It’s a take to modern diner… fresh and local, some organic? produce are used. Nice and clean contemporary style dining. I’m a fan and I will surely be back.

Local, fresh, and though slightly pricey for what you’re getting it’s worth the time to check it out. Dine in or out, or even to-go Metro has you covered. In a hurry, they even have automated checkout lines with everything from easy to use touch screen interface, and help right around the corner if you get stuck. On the menu, everything from brunch to lunch /dinner. I tried their breakfast recently and was very pleased. I recommend their power breakfast. Egg whites, feta, spinach, diced mushrooms all paired with a side of turkey bacon(which I sub’d for bacon, I mean who wouldn’t?), farm fresh strawberries, and sunflower seed bread. It was filling, didn’t give me powers like the name implied, but I wasn’t hungry until early evening. I’d like to check out some of their burgers, especially the local kobe beef ones, or maybe even the sliders. If you are not into the whole red meat thing, and like leaves; they also have plenty of salads and other yummy plants to be eaten. :-) Pricing is roughly around $ 12 per-dish and drink — about average for the neighbourhood, plus they even serve alcohol and spiked milkshakes. 4-stars.

Local food with a more healthy feel. If you’re looking for that old school diner, this isn’t the place. But if you want a healthier modern feel diner this is a good spot. Ordering is all done at the counter, and the food is brought out to you. A drink station has water, sodas, and coffee for a serve yourself ability. The food is really good, and nobody was disappointed. The omelets were great all around, and the pancakes have a cinnamon hint to them. Everyone was really friendly and the place is clean. Plenty of high chairs for kiddies. It can get a little crowded at times, but at 10:30 Saturday it wasn’t too bad.

Not bad. Had the Bison patty with eggs. I noticed they changed the coffee cups so you don’t have to use those large ceramic mugs anymore that sucked the hot from your hot coffee. Good change.

Definitely smarter than your average diner. They don’t serve breakfast all day here like most diners, and the menu is large, but not insanely so. You can order at a kiosk or with a cashier. Then, you take a number, and a few minutes later, your food is delivered to your table. They boast fresh local ingredients, artisan breads, hormone-free chicken, and antibiotic-free beef and bison. I was skeptical at first. But, now I’m a believer. I ordered the Miso Glazed Ahi Tuna Burger with sweet potato fries. It was awesome! The tuna was cooked perfectly(medium rare) and served with rocket greens instead of lettuce. The fries were crispy and seasoned nicely. Even the challah roll and the glaze were spot on! Halfway through my meal, a manager approached me to inquire about my meal and offer me a coupon for my next visit. I’m a sucker for coupons. I had already made up my mind that I would be back… with a vengeance. But, now it has been written in stone.

My wife and I finally decided to give this place a try on 12÷17÷11. I probably have passed by hundreds of times with no real passion to venture in. Bonehead move on my part, this place was great! My wife had one of the half sandwich and half soup combos, while I tried the bacon bleu cheese burger. Everyone was very friendly from the person at the counter who took our order to the last person we came in touch with, the young lady who brought us heaven in a to-go cup, namely the classic chocolate shake. YUMMY!!! Great food, good prices=return trip.

I’ve had lunch here several times but never got around to giving it a review. I love the food here, it’s organic, fresh and not what you’d expect from a diner. I think it’s a great choice over Panera Bread.

First off, I was REALLY surprised with this place. This is NOT your typical diner. It’s not dirty, there are no waitresses to fill your coffee cups and no one calling you«hon»… Love the concept! Fast Healthy food. You pretty much order it yourself(like you would at Wawa) on the self-order machines and take a ticket and have a seat. They have food to go and for sit down. I got the Buffalo Tacos that came with a mango strawberry spinach salad. YUM! The whole thing cost be $ 10. If I had actually went with all of those coupons that they used to have, I probably would have gotten this for $ 5. Buffalo for $ 5??? That’s awesome! They are in a very god location, the Annapolis Towne Center where you can grab a bite to eat here then walk over to Menchies for some awesome fresh yogurt with Mochi while you shop. I was totally surprised by this place. They specialize in gourmet versions of your favorite diner food with organic and fresh ingredients. LOVEIT! Will def be coming back! FYI.Double T Diner is just up the road if you want a true diner experience. Double T is open 24 hours where Metro Diner Closes at 9PM.

I used to not be keen on this restaurant, but they’ve recently changed the menu and taken off a lot of the slider/burger dishes. I like the menu much better now and it seems there’s more of a selection. I had brunch — so split the challah french toast and the lobster BLT. The lobster BLT was delicious and flavorful — it had a peppery flavor I was unable to pinpoint — it might have been from the whole grain bread or the salad dressing(which thankfully, was very lightly placed on the lobster).

We’re fans! I’ve been three times in the past 6 weeks or so. After my unfortunate experience at Eggcellence(as promised, still haven’t been back), I was looking for a new breakfast spot. Visit #1 — Lunch with Squeaker Had the veggie burger sliders and fries; delish! Staff was accommodating and helped me get a high chair and extra napkins. Visit #2 — Breakfast with friend & her daughter Ordered the whole wheat blueberry pancakes with a side of Egg Beaters and coffee. Perfection! Visit #3 — Breakfast with the family A pretty slow Monday morning. After raving to My Man about the food and experience, we oddly had two small issues: #1) The wrong food was delivered to our table(how does this happen with all of the electronic gizmos to prevent this?) #2) When our order did arrive, several items were missing. So much for my endorsement! Anyway, the food was still great. I had a repeat of my second visit, while Chickadee opted for the kids’ pancakes with a side of fresh berries and chicken sausage. My Man had one of the skillet breakfasts. I will return soon and update y’all on any glitches. I do like taking the kids here… Good food, healthy choices, clean restaurant, nice staff, great coffee. There is a changing table in the women’s room(it’s at the right height, too!), and boosters and high chairs are readily available. Love the free Wi-Fi and digital jukebox(though haven’t paid for any songs yet). Although it is kind of Orwellian that the automated ordering system remembers your previous orders(by the credit card that you use), it does make re-ordering a snap. Nice addition to the rotation. Affordable too!

Discover the Next Generation in Diners… that’s what the sign says outisde the door. The newest offering in the local Diner empire of Silver Diners, has opened in the much anticipated Annapolis Towne Center. It’s sure to frustrate some who are not keen on the fully automated concept. As you enter the Diner you are greeted by large screen readerboards containing tyhe menus. Once you’ve made a decision you swipe your credit card at the kiosk and punch in your order. The elderly couple in front of us just about had a heart attack with the process. Of course, I am ever the patient one, and I nearly went into an apoplectic fit waiting for them to figure it out. Still, once you get the hang of it, it’s kinda fun. Once you place your order, you pick up a reader card, dip it into the reader then find your seat. You dip the card again at your table so the food runners can find you. It’s all self service on coffee, water etc… My dining partner in crime is not a fan(he sides with the elderly couple) The food is fantastic. I had the Spinach and Feta Omelette with Chicken Sausage, home fries, wheat toast and small berry salad as a garnish. The food was perfectly cooked, very presentable and has an overall high quality, wholesome sense. The décor is pure Diner extravagance, über clean and super polished. It’s a great addition to the Towne Center and I can see myself stopping here many many times to come.
