I love this place and go at least once or twice a month. They have some great vegetarian options for lunch and breakfast. The restaurant itself is conveniently located next to a parking garage. The interior is clean and well designed. The staff is always very friendly. I usually order the tomato and mozzarella sandwich or the veggie burger with cheese. Both are consistently good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I always like discovering new breakfast places. This one was worth discovering! The restaurant was brightly lit and the menu had a good variety. Normally i dont like places where i have to order at the counter when it comes to breakfast food but i didnt mind it here, they bring the food out to your table and bust the tables so its almost like a full service restaurant. Once the food came out I was completely satisfied. They were normal sized portions and the food was tasty! One thing i would change is the way they serve the Orange Juice, it may be a little thing to others but i prefer to drink my juice from a cup when eating out. They gave me a miniature bottle and it just seemed weird. The people were nice, the wait staff seemed to know the regular customers and the chef even went out of his way to come ask us how our meal was. For the people alone, I will be back.

The warm sun baking my once pale skin to a healthy golden brown, the clicking sounds from the cameras of the paparazzi and the beautiful smell of medicinal purple Kush in the air. This was the feeling that I experienced after biting into the Avocado Californian omelet. Just one of the many options at the reasonably priced metro diner. After one visit, I was close to dubbing this diner a perfect 5 stars but they have one major flaw, like a smart, funny elegant girl with a tail. This is especially disturbing to those of us with a «Y» chromosome… Brace yourselves… 2 strips of bacon… Not cool!

I am not a fan of self-serve restaurants, even if they’re cheap. Additionally, the vegetarian items are totally uninspired and just the same old things I see on every other menu.

For being early morning, my bench seat had remnants of bread crumbs and sesame seeds; not dirty per se but I had to swipe them away before sitting down. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros with a side of sour cream and the Metro Pancakes minus the cinnamon. My cappuccino came without a napkin, stirrer, or silverware. The cappuccino was good, not exceptional, but I would order it again. It had a little astringency to it so I wanted to stir in my milk foam a little more. Wait, where is my spoon? Having been here several times, there is a constant high pitched noise. The manager(Sonya, I believe) said«I don’t hear it, but other people have complained». On another visit the waitress said it’s there all the time. My breakfast was more of a cross between huevos rancheros(although without rancheros sauce) and turkey chili. It was different than I expected, but I really enjoyed it. I have ordered it now on a few occasions. The key tip with this dish is that it will not be what you expect from huevos rancheros. My server was having a bit of a hard time. He brought a to-go container instead of the butter I asked for. I’m assuming he was just now. I did get a side order of bacon, but it was only two half pieces of bacon. It was very, very good bacon, but I wonldn’t order it again because let’s be honest, it was one piece of bacon for a whole side order. The pancakes were not a style that I liked. Others may like them, I wouldn’t order them again. Wait, I never got that spoon…

My last visit here was a real winner — the Lobster Cobb Salad! So delicious! But, my visits here are not consistently good. The menu isn’t very clear as to what’s included in a dish and $ 3 extra for sweet potato fries is ridiculous. The restaurant is inconsistently good, but I keep coming back because of its convenient location near Target.

Unsure what happened to the original listing, but this location offers farm fresh to the table foods and some of the best breakfast under $ 6.00. Make sure to take advantage of the weekly breakfast specials. For under $ 6 you’ll enjoy a large whole sandwich, a paired side(fruit /hash browns), and a drink — not too bad! My personal favorite is the western omelet, which was better than most I’ve ever ate. The menu has a custom burger selection among some preselected pairings, but really anything you’d normally expect on a burger is offered and significantly higher quality than most burger speciality spots. The interior is classic modern diner with outdoor seating and take out orders offered, metro diner is a great place to visit anytime of the day. 4 stars!
