Chili’s Too

Beyond doubt the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Cold and not just a little cold, refrigerator cold. I sent it back to get heated up and they made me wait almost 25 min to get it back. And then the potatoes were dry and it still wasn’t hot. I wondered what else happened in the kitchen. Never again.

The food was good but the service? It must be an airport thing!?! The attitudes of the people that work there are, what can I say airport quality…

Just a standard airport Chilis.
Take out takes a long time with isn’t he best for grabbing and taking on the plane.
Southwest egg rolls are delicious. It’s always happy hour with buy 1 get 1 all day which is great.
Otherwise it is just a standard chain Chilis.

1 star but server did commendably in the circumstances so 2 stars.
Food– what you’d expect from Chili’s. Palatable, nothing special. 2 stars for food.
Server warned me when I was ordering that salads, tacos, burrito bowls, were going to take 40 mins. The only things the kitchen was getting out in a reasonable time frame were burgers and chicken fingers. I wanted a burrito bowl, and said I’d wait to not have the deep fried quick options. Sure enough, 45 mins later I got my rice and beans with salad stuff bowl. How does this take so long?
At least she was honest and accurate. But poor form being out of half the menu, with a 40 minute wait for most of the items at an airport location?!?
Gave up and ordered a marg to keep me company while I waited. As expected, syrupy, but you do these things sometimes. The upside: it was extra strong. The redeeming factor.

As a former trainer for Chili’s, I am highly disappointed in this place. They shouldn’t be able to carry the Chili’s franchise. The service is horrible. I was greeted at the bar with a napkin flopped down in front of me while the bartender carried on a conversation with someone else, and then just stared at me without saying hello. I do appreciate the bartender brought me a water without request. I ordered a salad. A runner brought out the salad flopped it down in front of me and essentially ran off. And there was no dressing with the salad. Um, normally people put dressing on their salad and I happen to know this salad is supposed to be served with dressing on the side. So, then I sat there for a good 10 mins waiting. And waiting. Finally I attempted mouth the word «dressing» to the bartender who again ignored me. Finally, I was asked what the problem was and was brought a dressing. At some point, a man in a hurry sat next to me. No one greeted him so I handed him a menu and said if you are wanting to drink more than one beer I recommend you order a tall because service is a little slow. Well, apparently the bartender heard me because when I went to pay our she so rude exclaimed «thank you sweetie for your, PATIENCE!» What are we 5 years old? Seriously. Wow. That was unnecessary, rude, and a personal attack. So so disappointed.

The service was wonderful here but I was not impressed by the food. I’m not sure if it’s because we were there late at night but the food appeared to be nuked. It’s nice to go for drinks though.

Oh my God. Horrible, horrible, Horrible! Burger had cold bun, meat taste strange and french fries were warm with cold center like they’ve been under a heat lamb for hours. This is the worst meal I’ve had in a very long time – and I travel to China!

Good eats at a decent price for an airport place. Food was good and didn’t take too long to get to me. Waitperson was nice and attentive. Best place if you have a layover.

Love the explosion salad. Like all the Chilis in America. Servers and Bar Tender were spot on. Thank you. This location needs to improve on beer selection. I heard 3 people order an IPA and were told… we don’t have one. Loved the salad and the beer.

Slowest service ever… the gentleman who was the host was very friendly but once sat it took at least five minutes to be acknowledged after I inquired about a server. It took so long that we were not able to finish our meal before boarding. This is not the first time we’ve been here. I would puts our server’s name but not that cruel.

As far as airport restaurants go this one is pretty decent. Food is typical, outlets fairly plentiful for those needing a charge, and staff is rather friendly for the environment. Beer selection isn’t too bad, but that is more a function of being in Alaska than being a Chili’s.

After a horrific experience across the hallway at another restaurant, we walked over to Chili’s Too, hoping to find a nice nibble to help us make it through our layover
Seeking veggie fare can be difficult at times & Alaska seems to be 1 of those places where one must enlist one’s treasure-​hunting skills.
Super-​nice waitress went through their few veggie options for us (her brother is veggie so she could share our pain) & even pointed out where we could customize what we wanted to make it veggie
THIS was a 180 degree difference from what we had just been through at Silver Gulch!
We all had a variation of the Black Bean Burger w/​fries (I know — burgers at a Mexican joint!)
Frozen patty that was actually tan w/​little black beans scattered a throughout. Not outstanding but hit the spot & after the experience we had just had across the way, this was like hitting the jackpot
The Mr had the spicy burger w/​jalapenos, pepperjack cheese & something else that was hot
Sis got the Blue Cheese Burger — I opted for a custom version w/​cheese & avocado
Fries were nice & crispy on the outside & soft on the inside — big score here
Probably have to confess these burgers were definitely more along the 3-​star variety but given the great treatment we had vs. the Unilocal hate for this place, I felt like they needed some extra props.
Thank You for showing us hospitality & offering veggie choices! Even though this is typical airport fare & expectations need to be set accordingly, for showing us love, this Unilocaler is showing it right back!

Food poisoning from the Caribbean chicken salad on Nov 15, 2012

Stopped by here to grab a bite before my flight. Food was good, as was the service. Quite expensive though, but what can you expect at an airport.

Very limited breakfast menu.
Coffee was burnt.
Poor value.
