I had been at my nearby storage unit on a Friday night, and I was hungry. I cast around for something close, and this place popped up on my Unilocal. It’s been a while since I’ve had Indian food, so I figured why not. I was greeted by a really nice server with shockingly pink hair, who quickly seated me and brought me some water. I decided to get some lamb vindaloo. She warned me that it was pretty spicy, so I decided to order medium. To me, medium wasn’t really all that spicy, but it was delicious, hearty and full of flavor. The rice was nicely cooked and fragrant. I cleaned up every tiny bit of it with the naan that I also ordered. Service was a little bit slow, but that isn’t something that should put you off the place. Some things are worth waiting for, and this place is one of them. I’d definitely go back.

Food is delicious! Chaat is really tasty but this place lacks service. They owner/lady who greets everyone is kind of rude. I walked in there with an Amazon Local coupon that let me buy $ 20 worth of food for $ 10. Despite the fine print, they let me order anything I wanted. At the end of the meal the server came and scanned my coupon without mentioning that I had gone over the $ 20 limit to a total of $ 23.40 which means I owed $ 3.40. I was about to walk out of the door without any knowledge of this. The owner/lady asked who was going to pay for the meal. To this I told her the server already scanned my coupon and she said I still owed $ 3.40 in a very rude tone. Upon giving her my card, she first threw it in my face that they don’t accept credit transactions under $ 10 but she will let this slide. Her tone and her approach to this whole ordeal was very condescending and hence I give it a 3 star. Nonetheless, I don’t want to take away from their quality of the food. Really good chaat!

Samosa chaat was awesome! The mango lassi makes it even better. You should try it. Don’t expect good service though. Not a fan.

Fantastic buffet! It’s a small place, so sometimes they don’t have the foods I’m looking forward to, but the food is still often good and plentiful. This place was recommended to me and then I’ve brought people to it — it’s all been very positive. Being small, there are some issues with how long the food is sitting — though, with some of the food, this is a most excellent cooking practice. It means that the food becomes a spicy unity — yum! They often have great desserts too — the first time I went they had those excellent honey balls(I don’t know the name, alas) — and as a buffet, it was hard not to just to eat those. I’ve always have a very friendly time in this place — the décor is a little strip-mall-y, but I appreciate that they aren’t trying to inundate you with the idea of «India.» Instead, they make good food and try to get by. I wish it were in the city, however, as I can’t get there very often — but it’s my preference to eat if I’m in the area.

INLOVEWITHTHISPLACE! You walk in and probably think. yeah…I’m gonna leave now. BUTDONT! The looks are not the best(reason why I took a star away), but the food is delicious! This place is like if my Indian mom and dad, from another life, came over from India and started this delicious restaurant. I’ve only been to the lunch buffet– but that’s all I need; and by all I need, I mean I like to eat EVERYFOODOFFERED: D This is the first place I ever tried Indian food and it is still my favorite place. If this place ever closes I will cry. Seriously.
